This dude has been helping me a lot with my riding. I’m 33 and on a fz6r for my first bike. I would of got an r6 but I didn’t have enough money and wanted to start riding right away. The bike is decent for a beginner but riding with my cousin who rides and r1 definitely will make you want to upgrade. I’m going to keep it until it’s paid off though before I upgrade . It’s funny watching the brah has increased my confidence a lot and just having more fun then I was the first few months of riding. I got my bike up to 115 the other day on a nice long country road and was having a blast. I had a dirt bike from 18-20 crf 250 and learned to wheelie and jump and was pretty fast but nothing like a street bike speed. I also drive for a career and do delivery on interstates for over ten years so I can read the roads pretty good because of all the time I’ve spent driving. I feel like brah drives safe just because he’s speeding doesn’t mean he’s being wreck less. He’s just having fun and making good content. Allot of the TH-camrs I was watching before finding dudes like him were making me nervous and anxious about riding in general. After watching and listening to the brah it’s so much simpler the way he explains riding and his way of riding. I live in a heavily congested area in Orlando Florida but we have some awesome express ways thst have just been finished so the roads are perfect for riding. One question though will the brah ever show his face?

all japanese bikes are under the gentlemans agreement meaning 186mph is what they are limited to. the Japanese bike manufacturers where having a war against each other to see who could produce the fastest bike. but then they realized that if they keep making the bikes faster and faster they risk the government stepping in and starting to regulate the builds. so they instead all came together sipped som tea and came to an agreement to limit all future bikes to 186mph.
Then the epa comes in like in 1971 after the biggest horsepower year for cars like the LS6 Chevelle ☹️
I had a hard time seeing the speedometer of how fast you were actually going cause it was kinda blurry but it looked like it got up to 187 something or more at one point I cc ould of been wrong but that's what I thought I saw but manthat was so fast for a bike that old but I can't wait till you get it all good and tuned up and proper parts on it to really see what it can do!! That'll be a choice video to see when you get it out there!!? Can't wait brah!! Waitings the hard part!!! LoL 🍁🇨🇦🍁🤟💯❤️

if you remove the mirrors and make sure the tires have a little more pressure than usual it will help a ton to get a higher top speed

When I had my 05 gsxr 600 it topped out at 263km/h indicated. Now I have a 03 636 that I haven’t had past highway passing speed 😂.
I've owned six K5/6s. With a flash and a custom tune an extra 10 hp on a stock bike - probably 15 with race headers and a Sprint P08F1-85 filter assuming the compression is still good and all else sorted. Throw on some higher speed sprockets (17/42 is stock) and one can probably push it into the 190s. Oh, and the mirrors are a huge source of drag. Kissing 200? I've only ever been that kind of speed at Buttonwillow in reverse.
If you're getting clutch chatter installing the K7/8 Belleville washer (21472-41G10), some EBC extra power springs, and tuning the lever-out gap (via the access port on the clutch cover) usually smooths it out.

With a stock sprocket I’m guessing 185-190 on the gps, which are also not as accurate as one might think. Ride on brahs!

Definitely go with a moore mafia tune. You can get a flame tune as well. The bike will still ride like stock just have more power and have a more responsive throttle. That with a sprint air filter is golden fs.

Yes the doppler effect. It has to do with the speed of sound and how he is coming at you at a significant percentage of the speed of sound (which is somewhere around 700 mph). When he comes at you, he is traveling quickly towards the sound waves he is creating and once he passes you he is traveling quickly away from them. The speed creates an increase (when traveling towards the observer) and a decrease (when traveling away from the observer) of the frequency.

I had a K5 GSXR1k also and I wish I still had it. Was a great feeling bike to ride. Didn't have a GPS but fastest indicated speed I got up to was 197, couldn't ever break that 200 mark. No clue what actual speed it was though.
i feel ya i had a titanium grey k6 and i sold it pre covid for $3k now i see 1990s SRAD selling all butched up for 5000$ during and after covid... feels bad to know i gotta pay double to get my (older) k6 back

All Japanese bikes after the gen 1 hayabusa have a restriction of 300kpm. So the 2 options to disable this is to ether unplug the speed sensor it's self so the ECU doesn't know how fast your going (not the Speedo) or have the ECU flashed
They just limited the indicated top speed to 186. Most still do

That thing takes for ever to get up there tho it seems. my 05 R1 with 38k miles hits 189 mph limiter 179 GPS edit: I wrote this before I watched 8:42 ha our bikes top out around the same. same year, same mods really. Full micron exhaust & headers tuned with power commander 3 lowered 1.5 inch. 💙

Bike has restrictions in the ECU from the factory,remove the restrictions and tune the bike 180s no problem.too hit 200mph bike will need to be setup aerodynamically and weight reduction.17/43 gearing works great on that bike.Good luck with your build 🤙🏽

@@synomschulz2209 because the heavyer something is the more power it needs to move. reducing weight means you need less power to achieve the same speed. so if you reduce the weight and now need less power to do what you did before you now sudenly have less weight but the same power as before meaning you can go faster than before.

I’m surprised brah, my ‘87 Hurricane 600 top speed was 155 out of the factory. The 1000 I understand was 185 I think. The 750 gixxers that came out after went like 165. I think bikes got slower for a while because of bureaucrats!

This is exactly why I bought my 06 GSXR 1000 mines all blacked out from the taillights to the head lights I’m 5’11” 195-205lbs give or take and my bike still can hit 180mph and after I put in a sprint air filter change the sprocket ⚙️ and bearings put on my new exhaust because as of now it’s straight piped lol I’m hoping to get to 190mph and hoping for atleast 190hp running m12 hoping but I’ll keep it 💯 real no way in hell would I attempt to drive it like you lol
