It’s kind of amazing how reliable these Suzuki engines are. The gixxer thou is the ultimate squid missile. Bike has probably seen tons of abuse. And after all that, look it go! Whoever designed this engine, respect!
I had 58k miles on my gsxr600 running great original engine had a ticking noise I assume lifter tick or something but went away with thicker oil. Only reason it’s gone now is because it was stolen and crashed. It truly is crazy!

I was wondering the same, that wheel was VERY bent not just a little bent. My guess is the only reason he was able to maintain control is because it was a rear wheel, front wheel bent that badly wound be disaster.
That bent back rim was really screwing with how the bike moved side to side. It looks like a completely different bike at high speed now. Way more responsive. I would check that front rim and see if it hit the same thing that back one hit. Damn that back rim was bent. Fun to see your favorite bike is now much healthier. Fun video.
The stock ECU has a couple of limiters.. one of them is a top speed limiter. You can get it out with a ecu flash or with the healtech xtre powerbox! Curious what the top speed will be if you do that!

This is wild on that GSXR. My ‘12 CBR1k got me to 192 GPS. ECU tune and slightly smaller sprocket and a super nice GT tire. Wish I wouldn’t have sold it so I could’ve went for 195 😢

Had a jixor 750. Used to ride like that. No gear, no fear. Got into a major accident. Took 10 years to get back on a bike. Full gear, and she’s an air cooled classic (no more squid sh!t).

I think you could really grow your channel if you did some "tips" style videos. You seem to be the most skilled street rider on youtube, your lessons are much more valuable to people who want to improve compared to any channels I can think of.
True story right here, I traded my '05 Hyundai Tiburon for an 07 GSXR-1000R back in like 2010 and my very first time driving it, on my way back home down the interstate I hit 187MPH. I looked down and said hell nah, I'm good. Funny thing, though, was there was this red pickup truck that was loaded down with some heavy ass dudes and I would fly by them and get way ahead and slow down to like 85 or 90 and they would eventually come by me every single time. It was hilarious. Good times.

Want speed? Get rid of those mirrors and put on a one piece leather suit. Your jeans and arm skin are causing drag. There has got to be a way to fix that limiter on the speedo. The tach can be seen advancing but the industry regulated 186 stays the same. What a rush !!
Ive a K5 with Carbon wheels (makes it turn like a 600) and a quick action throttle otherwise standard. Oh its my Isle of Man bike so a K5 flat out on canyon roads, took 4 years 6,000 miles to learn but most people will never experience anything close.....so lucky.
Right! I see it happen lots.... they suddenly see a bike blazing up and they decide to move over out of the hammer lane as the bike moves right to pass by the car! I tend to go by on the far left.... usually they move right just before I get to them leaving half a left open.
You need to make a chicken foot muffler for the GSXR1000. Then it would really be your bike! Also, put crash bars on the sides and mount nitrous oxide bottles on each side and get a NX Express kit for it. You would be the baddest rider on TH-cam!
