highly educated doesn't mean a person is actually smart, it just means this person is highly educated in a specific field such that this person has a good understanding and a good level of knowledge in the specific subject. There are plenty of people who are just born lucky and ended up having a good life, and there are plenty of smart people who couldn't make it anywhere due to nature of situation that's outside of their control. This whole thing sounds like she met people either online or over the phone, and somehow she was using links/instructions from strangers who appear to be caring. This is no different than someone knocking your door saying your bank balance is low, please hand over $2000 cash to keep it in good standing. I bet people's first reaction would be to either call the bank or show up at a bank location. What stopped these people from thinking is probably sense of "love" from someone whom they have never met in real life.

Actually all victim of romance scam have a fear of being abandoned or low tolerance for loneliness. The scammer was perusing this point to manipulate the victim. Its not the victim fault to have this vulnerability, everyone have some trauma in their life.
Oh god. On one hand I felt sorry for her because of the bad luck, but I also wonder how could you manage to trust someone enough to invest in whatever they tell you about? And twice? Was it truly a desire to be loved or also partly the belief in fast and easy money? Anyway, money that's gone can always be earned back. This shall pass. Hopefully this series raises awareness.
It is always same kind of thing,I had 3 people trying to scam me and since I am myself a small investor I bring up the topic, normal people don't care or are mildly interesting as it is but a hobby, scammers try to talk to you about investing lah,and usually it goes something like my uncle recommended and I made lot of money, but if you know about trading most of it is literal bullshit about forex or crypto, good thing is I get to practice mandarin talking with them so it's nice!
I just wouldn't trust anyone I only "met" online. I guess I'm suspicious in real life if someone is too "nice". Not always, but sometimes they have an agenda. In a class I am in, I googled a classmate who just seems too perfect and friendly - seems he's a serial womaniser who lies in court to try and minimise how aggressively he handles his break ups.
It's a mark of a great recovery character when so many people can see themselves in them. Giving a voice to what many other victim have felt before.and doing it with a heck of a job. Universal dispute on the internet
Reality is, there is no free lunch in this world. 1) In today's selfish dog eat dog world, people are almost never nice to others for no reason. Meeting angels are harder than winning the lottery. You may think you've met an angel, but more likely than not, it's a scammer. 2) Don't let your desperation blind your logical mind. When you are lost or desperate for love, you are likely to lose even more. They say misfortune comes as a package. Stay rational, no matter how emotional you are. 3) Don't be the majority of the people who fall for impression. Obviously if he wanted to talk to you, he would say he is someone successful. If he said he was someone sleeping on the streets or just a regular joe doing odd job, would you even continue talking to him? I don't know. And if he's that wildly successful making millions, he'd wouldn't be hanging out on instagram talking to you anyway. He would likely be at big conferences busy meeting business partners, and travelling the world and not behind a screen.
Asian women are the number one targets for scammers in Southeast Asia. Asian women tend to be more trusting and very dumb and get caught up in their emotions when there's a man. These Asian women are lonely and want a relationship, and want someone to tell them they're beautiful and care about them. Scammers look for these particular type of women because they are easier to take advantage of. I know a rich Vietnamese girl who is very trusting and naive. Luckily, she's always checked with me first about investments. And has avoided a lot of stupid scams in Vietnam including with the banks there.
I never waste my time with financial consultants. This scam victim reinforced my opinion. I have also been exposed to such scammers but their tricks were so easy to see through. Not sophisticated at all and yet I am surprised smart people got conned. OMG!
@@mirianadimitrova2112 agree but the educated people won’t be so educated unless they are smart, right? I mean you can’t be admitted to NUS (for example) unless you have the chops. Greed & “harm-sup lust” is the element that contribute this! I didn’t realised women have it also. Yes Sporean is highly educated but not a street smart fighter. Maybe too pamper by parents. To suppress greed, we must know where money comes from & how the world works with money, always question yourself “where got such a big karp-la(dried gecko) running on the street”
Imagine is there's another group of scammers, pretending to be potential victim, cash out the 10% interest and black hole the original scammer. Repeat and rinse. Anyway, isn't it creepy for someone who chat online with you started to talk about your menstruation?

you should be awarded the Nobel Peace
Prize, dude.
When one's EQ is lower than IQ, yet he/she allows the heart to overtake the brain, that's how it can happen.
highly educated doesn't mean a person is actually smart, it just means this person is highly educated in a specific field such that this person has a good understanding and a good level of knowledge in the specific subject. What stopped these people from thinking is probably sense of "love" from someone whom they have never met in real life.
only works on very lonely and sad people, whcih is a real pity
Awesome work, Team *UniversalDispute* ! It's so satisfying to see you putting in the effort to stop those shady characters. Protecting the public, especially the elderly, from those despicable con artists is crucial. You truly deserve recognition and appreciation for keeping us secure. I'm thrilled for you because you're my sibling. Your accomplishments definitely make you a strong contender for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Keep up the outstanding performance!
It will happen a third time...and 4th ...
When emotionally unstable or greedy or needy, you will be scammed. Over and over again.
It's a mark of a great recovery character when so many people can see themselves in them. Giving a voice to what many other victim have felt before.and doing it with a heck of a job. Universal dispute on the internet
She got scammed TWICE! Should have learned from the first scam!
Got scammed because of greed not for love 💵💲😂😂
For the victims of scams or scammers.
The Offspring - You're Gonna Go Far, Kid
Well played....taking advantage of people.
And has avoided a lot of stupid scams in Vietnam including with the banks there.
women just want the most perfect man in the world, only think of fairy tale marriage of their lives
Despite. Having a family, she is lonely. That’s why.
Scammers are in every social media, IG, FB, Line, WC, TG and TikTok. Don't be gullible, people who pm you are mostly cheats or scammers.
I never waste my time with financial consultants. This scam victim reinforced my opinion. I have also been exposed to such scammers but their tricks were so easy to see through. Not sophisticated at all and yet I am surprised smart people got conned. OMG!
The EQ is lower than the IQ. Unfortunately, the heart overtook the brain.
Smart and educated are two very different things.
@@mirianadimitrova2112 agree but the educated people won’t be so educated unless they are smart, right? I mean you can’t be admitted to NUS (for example) unless you have the chops. On the other hand, a person can be uneducated due to financial reasons but still smart. However if this person can’t get pass basic mathematics, then still smart? 😂
Poor girl. I know it affected her confidence. You live and learn ❤
Umbrella?
Wow how caring.
That's a clue, should've used the umbrella to shield away from the down trodden MAGGOT.
There is no such thing as free lunch in this materialistic world, please think twice decide what to do
wow thanks a lot for sharing your story. i hope you can earn the lost money in due time
fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice...
There are no interest. It’s all fake numbers
I fell for these scams also. Really makes you cautious.
Online transactions/romance should be avoided altogether even it is legit. It is very hard to verify if it is authentic or not.
Don’t answer calls/texts if you don’t recognize the numbers. I guess also don’t respond to strangers from IG as well.
Preying on the victim's soft side. Shame on them.
Aiya! very easy to identify a 99% scammer. If the msg is written in or spoken in mandarin or Google translated improperly or Chinglish or broken English …99% is all these scammer! So don’t speak mandarin. Theirs thought always have this 我有什麼好處. In their dictionary there is not an existence of “friend” but only motive.
The dude is just not fakeing. The finishes of the goals. Beautiful. Magisterial. Love you *UniversalDispute* on the internet.! A Whoever's reading this, I pray that whatever your going through gets better and whatever your struggling with or worrying about is going to be fine and that everyone has a fantastic recovery!
Amen!!
Great work #Universal Dispute - so glad you are out there fighting these lowlifes scammers.
We need to do all we can to spare the elderly and general public from these despicable scammers
Big thanks to my recovery agent (you know who you are!) and the entire
*Universal Dispute* team online I really appreciate your tips and help making this a complete success. It's been a long road, but we got there eventually. Stay safe and take care.
Actually it is one greed that is the culprit. easy money and assume profitable investment make one even more greedier.
If it is too good to be true, most likely it is. I was scam once too, but luckily it was a small amount.
Don't believe any stranger come across u when mentioned upon money!!! Tell urself everyone only love money not you the person. So the trick is upon any party who first mention about money, just put your heart to cut them off.. So simple. Using love Words to camouflage their underlying motive to lure your money at anytime or overtime. Just erase them off your memory and say goodbye..
I never understand what crypto investing is. I’m very old and not familiar with modern finance! I don’t think anyone can persuade me to put money into anything I don’t understand.
They aren’t that good U don’t ask enough questions U want to believe what U want to believe for a guy to love u care for U a handsome younger guy yes we all want that I’m 35 and I couldn’t pull or get these men w money or no money
Spending a lot time in education institute compound or earn lot of degrees/certificate, doesn't meant you are highly educated.
All thanks I got so much love from this Team they’ve been helpful to so many others I’m the happiest’
I'm pleased to hear that you value the work done by Universal-Dispute] in the fight against digital scams. It's crucial to safeguard vulnerable groups such as the elderly and the general public from these reprehensible activities. While it's commendable to acknowledge their efforts, it's essential to note that the Nobel Prize is awarded for significant achievements in specific fields, not for general contributions to society. Nevertheless, it's heartening to know that their work is esteemed and cherished. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me.
Lesson of the day for online chat and for awhile best to meet up with them if possible if not possible just delete the chat
Such strong Singlish accent.
Can't be scammed if you've given up on trying to find love
*taps head*
This has recently happened in Cambodia 🇰🇭 , too. Vietnamese people were the victims.
The Chinese scammers go around SE Asia countries.
I'm a victim of a love scam, I'm a Malay girl and the scammer is a Malaysian Chinese man sitting in Poland but speaking Indonesian in the chat, I think he's not Chinese in Malaysia, his hobby is playing golf, I think he's a rich man, he looks like the king of scammers, I've advised him to change maybe he is here the law of karma now.
financial consultant = selling insurance.
Geez...the second one, has she even met him? OMG
Kelly, I need your help in tracking a scammer harming my friend. Please pm me. Thank you
This is a really heart touching story, this scammers should be locked up for hurting innocent souls. I was a victim of a crypto scam I lost $40,000 for 3 month I was losing my mind until I met *Hacksting* within hours he recovered everything through Instagram chat and I swore not to be a fool again
You should ask him for help
Video 2.03 thats where the scam started to show when couldnt get the money 😡 Why must put in money just to get it back in the first place. Similar to getting exclusive rewards as prizes 🙄
How can one save especially young teenagers ...
Weak and naive.
The guy is clever.
All scammers has this "investment" story......never ending....
My heart ❤️ goes out to the lady. Take care. Dun blame yourself too much. You are courageous and thank u for spreading awareness
Highly educated doesn't necessarily mean you are highly intellegent though
I would like to experience this. And see if I will fall for it.
Fool me once shame on the scammer, fool me twice shame on you
Some these woman need to donate money to scammer
I listen to these stories .. its like how gullible are these people .. gosh
It would be easy to make an you tube channel on scammers there are so many of them bi like to mess with them they will never get an dime off me
A successful person will never ask for money, if he does it is a red flag. Why women are so naive?
Get over your loss. Cut off from social media. Tons of crooks lurking there.
I just fell victim to a crypto scam last week due to an introduction on social media and I lost everything and I want to die
Seems most of the scammers are chinese literate, that might be another telltale sign or red flag to potentially look out for ?
You can't legislație against people being stupid, stupid is always stupid
SOHAI not stupid...no sympathy for SOHAI....
