I had a pro shop do mine and it messed with the speakers they ran it from than my sub keeps getting powered even when off. They fixed the problem with the connection up feont but its still sending power to the sib at random
Thanks! No plans to touch other speakers. The subs added enough volume and bass. I already get yelled at from my family to turn off the sub and turn it down!
Thanks love the video. I've been wanting to add a sub, but wasn't to sure how. This helps a lot. Only question I have, is I see you added a switch for your amp to turn on and off with. So does that mean the plug in harness doesn't give you a wire for the remote wire on amp? meaning it won't turn off the amp when you turn off the truck.
The LLJ harness does have a amp turn on wire provided. I just didn't use it. I put mine on a switch and tied it also to a fuse that is only powered with accessory/key on. That way it comes on with the truck or use the switch to turn it off.
Do you think you would need that wiring harness if you do not have the noise canceling stuff. Could you just pull from the front speakers? I have the Bose but I'm pretty sure it doesnt have a sub. It does appear to have a small amp though
Where were they installed from the factory. Some of the high country’s came with them

@g.lav80 gezz if I can figure it out u would think a place that does car audio for a living could do better
Loved the video wondering if you’re doing the door speakers next ?

If u have the bose system then I believe yes u will need the harness
Did you still keep the back speakers tapped or just use the one from the harness?
Just use the harness
Any chance you have the link to the exact harness you used in the video??
Yes the links are in the description.
@@EssMotorsportsDid you change the connectors, they don’t match the ones in the video.
@trippwimberly398 not not that I remember. If anything I cut them off and put a twist connector or just a spade connector
For the amp remote turn on did you add a fuse?
Yes, I used an add a fuse from the fuse box on the driver side.
Bussin
Did you remove the factory bose subwoofer
Nope! All stock, besides adding the extra subs.
Wondering if you knew how long exactly it took for you to get your t harness from llj ?
It was a good 3 weeks I'd say. But worth it. Very good build quality! I have no affiliation with them I was just super impressed by the harness!
👍👍
Omg how do I get through the grommet. This is killing me
Not going to lie... it sucked. Big screwdriver and force. I fought for good 2 hrs
@@EssMotorsports man I finally got it 😂 used an old wire hanger. 2 hours was probably about right
@Quintin Lopez yeah not fun but there's like no other spot to go through so just gotta make it happen
