If you haven't already. Buy a Diablo Sport tuner to disable the AFM (cylinder deactivation), install a pcv catch can, and do the sure cool thermostat delete to your transmission.

That looks soo clean, that would sooo good in my ‘16 LTZ.
Put the gearshift in low and the steering wheel all the way down. Makes it much easier.

I did this upgrade and am very happy with it other than the trans temp now only being displayed when in tow/haul. Question: What is everyone doing with their old cluster? Is there any market or value for it? I know it would need to be unlocked to be used in another vehicle...

Great video! Have you noticed since installing your new cluster or the Car Play upgrade if you were able to make your door chime volume quieter than before? I have a 2015 and even on the lowest setting the door chime is still so loud. Thanks!

Looks like the yaw and roll sensor doesn't work. Is that a separate sensor that needs to be added?
I’m looking to get this for my 18 Sierra. My question is, all the toggle switches under the heat stack (cargo lights, park assist, lane assist, etc..)
When you toggle those on will those icons still pop up on the new cluster?
Also, will the V8-V4 still pop up as well? I do have the range to deactivate that, but I just always wanna see that it’s running V8 full time. Thank you!

So only thing I am wondering is how you are averaging 23+ miles per gallon haha. Do you have a programmer in the truck?? Looks to be about the same size lift as my truck and I average LOW teens with AC off. Sad face.

Thanks buddy! Yes, even if you bought a used one mileage will carry over. My understanding is that the mileage isn’t stored in the dash like some of the older trucks.

what dose it mass with when you put a 2016 dash cluster that was not the one in your 2016 gm will it take out your ecm so you can not read it

yoooo, so i am doing an overland build on my 2015 chevy 2500hd but i want this gauge cluster, but i dont know if it ohas the offroad section in the info tab, would you happen to know if it does have that?? my truck is a z71 and it has it on the stock gauge cluster and i dont want to lose that if i go to the denali cluster

I have a 15 silverado just like yours but they don't have a blue cluster for this year only 16 and up does that matter
You can buy the 2016 blue gas or 2017 diesel. It will work but 2017 gas wont work.

I dont see any advantage to this design.. In fact i like the original better.. Same info just presented another way.
Looks fancier, but pay $700 just to change from a page A to page B, nah! My money is blood money, can't give it way that easy! I like to change the main display, so I can have navigation.

I really want to get the blue cluster to match my 2015 sierra. So the only way I could get it to work is by upgrading to the Apple car play first? since its only offered for the 2016 model. Anyone have any idea?

Hi @Dustin i will do this cluster upgrade soon. I just notice on the display on 4x4 info display if its working properly. I can see on your video that the angle on the display of the 4x4 display and looks like that it was not working properly. The angle is not in the proper angle where your truck is park in your garage. Please let us know the answer.
I was wondering the same thing. Have you done the install yet and if so do the angles work properly?
I was wondering also if that something that has to be recalibrated at the dealer.

Just ordered this for my 15 High Country because of this video. It will be an awesome upgrade especially sense I sell brand new Chevy and GMC trucks for a living so I’m getting a little touch of the truck I really wanted when buying my 15 lol

Your fuel range might be off. Seeing 223 miles bur your 1/4 of a tank it's weird. That'd the only thing that stood out to me. Glad you like it.
Damn that is badass I didn’t know you could just order one for them trucks. I have a 2015 all terrain Sierra with nice leather carbon fiber leather an that would look slick in the truck. But seen the price for the cluster an almost had a heart attack

I had a friend say that programming wasn’t necessary on these clusters as long as you get one from a Denali the same year as your Silverado. He bought one used off eBay, plugged it in and it’s worked fine ever since. Any truth to this?
Risk and try worst case a trip to the dealer
@@slowx7amg I took the risk and after paying the dealership 170$ of my non refundable money, the guy swore they couldn’t get it to program and I was out almost 200$ for them “ trying “ to reprogram the cluster. The only thing my cluster doesn’t display is the mileage, everything else works fine. So when I take it to get an oil change I have to swap back to the old cluster so they can get the mileage. Pain in the ass, but it still looks amazing in my truck. Wish I wouldn’t have paid to have them reprogram it but I’ve wasted more money than that in a strip club 🤷♂️
@@thedavid3737 did the needles work before you programmed it? I got a cluster and plugged it in everything lit up but obviously miles were at 0 but when i pushed the gas the needles didnt move... i figure i have to go to the dealer to have them program it?
@@nutterbutters2232 the needles worked on my cluster before it was programmed. The cluster I got came out of the same year Denali as my Silverado tho so I don’t know if that has anything to do with it or not. The only thing programming does is move everything from your old cluster to the new one and if you have any features on the new cluster that’s not compatible with your truck like front cameras, then it just disables you getting any alerts about front cameras.
