Hiking in Sterling Nature Reserve

Sterling Nature Center, spanning 1400 acres of nature in Cayuga County, is an amazing place for hiking! It was a memorable and peaceful experience where the colors and the light of the early autumn forest meets the spectacular glacially formed bluffs overlooking the calm and vast lake. On top of that the Sterling Preserve has around 2 miles of shoreline.

A big chunk of the land in and around the Sterling nature center used to be orchards and farms.
