I moved away from BC and am so happy I found this! Now I can walk through some of my favorite parks on the Mainland and the Island virtually with other Canadians (I love that we get to see people on the trails!). Highlights for me (besides all the beautiful mossy Cedar and Douglas trees in Cathedral Park) are the view over Deep Cove @ 1:10:30 and back on Vancouver Island the tide pools of Botany Bay @ 1:55:33.
I'm in the same boat. Just moved from the Fraser Valley to Alberta, and in the cold winter months I'm missing home quite a bit. There was nothing quite like the lush greenery of BC.
I grew up in Tsawassen and lived on Vancouver Island for awhile as well as all over the lower mainland and fraser valley, I used to drive taxi for Richmond Cabs and in Abbotsford. I moved to alberta in '05 which was necessary and a good thing, especially during covid, but oh how I miss my oceans, forests and moutains!! I can't believe I'm saying this but I even miss the rain!
