    Super tutorial, thanks! It's a very confusing configuration for a beginner to wrap their heads around, though. Keeping track of what is actually moving, and what is not. I am trying to add something in the foreground which does not [appear to] move... my brain is melting...
    Thanks for doing what ya do!

    Thanks for the great tutorial Eve! I did notice that your animation flickers just as it loops between the last and first frames (at point 5:50 of your video). I've been trying to resolve this challenge, so if you or anyone else here can guide me to resolving this, that would be amazing!

    • @ChainsawOctopus
      @ChainsawOctopus ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This is because the first frame and the last frame rendered are identical (0° and 360° of rotation). This causes a small stutter since it's displaying the same image twice back-to-back. In this example, you could fix it by changing the end frame (Output > Dimensions > Frame End) from "240" to "239".

    • @EveSculpts

      Hmm maybe check that your frame range is set correctly in Output Properties? Then pressing CTRL+F12 should start rendering a sequence of images :) Otherwise you can go to Render-> Render Animation. Hope that helps!

  • @isamujarman

    Hi, thank you for this tutorial! One question though: if you turn the camera, we should see that there is no background for three quarters of the video! How did you implement the 4 sides background please?

    • @EveSculpts
      @EveSculpts  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I usually add a background colour in After effects after rendering an image sequence with transparency. That way you have more flexibility over the bg :)

  • @DeltoraGames
    @DeltoraGames 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Once you rendered the images did you scale them down to fit your screen? or did you somehow make the camera render the normal size but somehow at 2048 each?

  • @secretforge

    I click render and only get the first frame. Double checked and I do have it set to start at frame 1 and end at frame 200. Have not found a solution yet.

    how did you make the background color?

  • @kai-cheesecatt
    @kai-cheesecatt ปีที่แล้ว

    I have no idea why, but I can’t even make a camera appear. I don’t know what I did wrong for this to happen but it’s very annoying because this way I can’t make the animation which I do want to create
    Edit: I figured everything out and have completed my first ever 3d model! Thank you!

    Hello, thank you for this -question: have you animated semicomplex characters? I want to make a game character but i can't get solid answers in whether or not i should make the hair and the model a single object or keep them separated, please help

    • @EveSculpts
      @EveSculpts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      For games you typically do the hair using cards which is individual planes with hair alpha on them. Alternatively, you can make polygon hair and still use separate meshes 😊 The approach depends on the style you're going for but it doesn't all have to be one mesh

    • @EveSculpts
      @EveSculpts  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use Eevee instead of Cycles for faster rendering :) Otherwise rendering speed depends on the specs of your PC
