Man, I wasn't expecting this when I clicked on the thumbnail. I thought it would open yet another modeling speedrun, but I ended up watching a super complete class. I didn't know about your work, but now I'm already following you, eager to see more. Congratulations on the great video.
You did not just make a cute 3D character and gave a tutorial how to make one. You made us understand how Blender works and other theories that we can apply in different art styles!
I want to take a moment to appreciate the only detailed sculpt you did of the arm, head, and hands just to round it out for a few second example. The example worked.
So glad I watched this - it has SO much more info than the title suggests! This was like a potted mastercalss in photography, cinematography, art direction, character design, anatomy... THANK YOU tinynocky !
Yes! Finally! A video! Focus about "How to make a cute 3d character!!" And yes, it would be awesome if you could share your timelapse. I really want to make one like this, but there are a lot of things I don't know so it's scary to even start. Wait, you already shared it. Thanks alot!
Amazing stuff. I love how in depth you go while still keeping everything accessible for beginners as well! Keep it up, consistency is the key to success on TH-cam and I’m sure your channel will blow up in popularity soon!
I very recently started using blender and am still an absolute beginner, and oh boy, the part where you set up the texture of the fabrics just blew my mind lol she looks adorable and i loved to watch the character concept creation, it made me inspired to create some new things, thanks for the video!
Wow you’re so good at explaining things!! I usually never just sit and listen to someone speak on videos but you make it so interesting. I hope to get into blender soon so this was actually a great little lesson.
I was not expecting to (re)learn a lot of the stuff from my photography background. I’m diving into this animation venture and I’m glad you put it all into perspective of the things that i have done. Makes it feel full circle, rather than something new. This is awesome content. Gracias.
hi tinynocky! i've been following your videos for a while now and i completely love them! it helps me alot with my learning process, but the one thing i could never get down is how you do the hair!
hey thank you so much! I have a timelapse of this project on my channel, here's a link that will direct you to the portion of the vid where I did the hair: th-cam.com/video/oMYIVHsDq3k/w-d-xo.htmlsi=oRzxECv58tRqiaRS&t=1613 hope this helps!
wow! your videos are so entertaining and so well explained. i am in awe. im so unbelievably happy i made the switch from cinem4d, the blender community is just incredible and with talented individuals like you tinynocky ill never look back. cant wait to see more of your content
I walked into this just experiencing a speed sculpt, but no no no. Tinynocky goes above and beyond. I walked away getting a sculpting lesson, a camera lesson, a photography lesson, what do ot of I want to make it a real toy, AND how to make fuzzy cloth in the blender hypershader. 🤯🤯 Also you're hilarious. CHUNKY. When in doubt, CHONK. She turned out ADORABLE. your scientific calculations have successfully triggered my "cute aggression"
I had your Tiny-eye as an asset before I discovered your channel, just watched the animation in 18 days, as i'm attempting to animate something and now I am here, good quality content, from myself and probably many others. Thankyou
Cuteness, being pretty soft and huggy , can be used to be closer to each other in social context. 1:40 Softness and Approachability: The emphasis on soft, rounded shapes and friendly designs reflects a desire for warmth and approachability. In social interactions, adopting a friendly demeanor, avoiding harshness, and embracing softness in tone and behavior can make people feel more at ease, fostering a sense of comfort and closeness.
I discovered Blender today because I'm making a videogames design course... and saw that video looking for more information and I said WHAT THA FFFFF... congrats man, this is awesome. Cheers from Argentina!
Got my pc broke for a couple of years now but I'll definitely use your video as a reference in the future once I get back to Blender. This was a fun video! I love seeing IU here and there too. Haha!
I do not own blender but it is on my wish list, and I’ve just been looking at some random tutorials when yours came up. I normally work out of Procreate for 2d art but these suggestions have been astoundingly helpful in my art game and I just want to say thank you for that.
This video is really engaging and very well paced, I'm going to reference this a whole lot. And now I have a new way to design characters in my arch classes!
