- Shaping the rear post of a Jaguar XJS Eventer.
Using a Flexible Shape Pattern to cut the exact blank, shrinking a bit on the Eckold, forming with a nylon mallet on the sand bag, stretching on the Englishwheel, marking the flange on the beadroller, a bit of hammer and dolly to finish the work
They just found Eventer #13 in a field in New Jersey. It's been sitting outside for 20+ years. It also needs a full restoration.

Im sorry, im confused, i enjoyed and appreciated the content, the hammer work, the rollers etc, i actually love that shape vehicle, ive only once before seen pictures of 1, but why the panel? It appears the existing panel is ok, doesnt look dented, rusted or unserviceable,,,, but after seeing this ill be watching more, Subscriber now thank you
It was just about duplicate this part.the original one is in a good state and don't have to be replaced

Seen a similar conversion on a Triumph Stag at a Custom Car Show way back in the late 70's early 80's cant remember the Companys name who did the Conversion British Leyland were approached about taking it into Production but refused on the grounds being too expensive to make the Tooling and Metal Pressing Machinery.......

@@slgclassiccars4098 I recall seeing it in Classic and Sports car back in the 80's but I've never seen one in the flesh, so to speak. My Dad had an XJS in the 80's, 3.6 version, burr elm dash, it was such a great drive. Effortless high speed cruising 👍
@@slgclassiccars4098 not entirely correct. The style is a 3 door shooting brake but it's a Jaguar XJS coach build by Lynx. It's proper name is a Lynx Eventer.
One more hole and you'd have a Buick!
