Since you squashed the critics at the start I, as a fully non qualified TH-cam Ex Spurt, am here to restore the balance. Consider your self SEVERLY reprimanded. There. That should restore the balance. 😋
Mr. Donn, the projects you choose to share with us viewers are always fascinating and entertaining. You show an enormous amount of ingenuity overcoming obstacles with the tools that you have at your disposal. Thank you.
Me time is very important for your headspace, and lots of people seem to overlook that. Those tyres are incredible, all kinds of crazy mental bonkers right enough but somehow I think they will work hard with this project. Stay safe my friend, we will see you when we see you
I’m happy your back on TH-cam. I like how you mark the kerf for cutting back when I used to use a cutoff wheel the would have helped. I guess it’s obvious and clever because I never thought of it. Any video I learn from I doubly appreciate.
Thanks Donn for the update on what's going on over there. Looking forward to the project you come up with. Stay safe and hope the family is all well and growing . Keep up the fun around there. Happy Holidays to you all. Fred.
Очень рад тебя видеть, дорогой Мистер Донн. Спасибо что вернулся, надеюсь на интересный новый проект, ведь все твои проекты приятно смотреть и все они достойны нашего внимания. Удачи тебе и всего самого хорошего. I'm very glad to see you, dear Mr. Donn. Thank you for coming back, I hope for an interesting new project, because all your projects are pleasant to watch and all of them are worthy of our attention. Good luck to you and all the best.
Good to see you back my friend hope you and yours are doing well excited about the projects up-and-coming keep doing what you're doing and I'll keep watching liking and commenting
Like everyone said before me; good to see you back on TH-cam and great that your building something new! Looking forward to all the videos. Thanks for sharing! Greetings from the Netherlands, Mark
Hi Donn, good to see you back. This will be a great project and will be the right size for your forest work. I am also excited to see what you and your partner developed! Cheers 👍💪✌
Had to look up what a Forwarder is! Looks like it’ll be one of your biggest projects yet, so some great content ahead. Along with your new mystery product. Happy days.
I realized I had not actually watched the very end so rewatched from where I really did remember, glad I did so that I find out your working on a special project.... I am a long time subscriber and know how your videos work so if I don't think something is right, then check..OK. Missed having not seen you for some time now and do realize everyone needs me time
I am glad your back !! I have missed you sir .....good luck on your new venture ....please don't stop making videos on here I really enjoy your work !!! Can't wait to see what is coming up next !!! 👍👍
I suggested this to you two years ago or so to build a front end for the trailer so itt will be something like a Kranman forwarder,,happy to see that your on it finaly !!! this is exiting stuff !!!!!
When you said you were working on a product with your partner at first I thought you meant your kid :) Glad to see you here again. All the best with the product, and the family, and I look forward to seeing more about the Forwarder!
when I'm widening wheel's and the valve stem hole is on the edge of the rim, I weld up the hole and re-locate the stem to the inside of the wheel to protect it.
Next project=motorizing this roller bender :) thats gonna be another awesome series from you Donn! cant wait to see the next video!salutation from Montreal,Québec!
A forwarder - wow, you already have a timber trailer so you really are looking to scale up I guess. You are my favourite youtuber, great to see you making stuff again.
Cool! Great job Donn! Back in my younger years, I widened some rims using an old pickup with no bed, but it ran, and a hand hacksaw that I had welded an extra handle on the front side. I marked the rim where I wanted to cut it, bolted it on the truck, lifted the rear of the truck, started the truck, put it into gear, let it idle to turn the rim, and then, holding onto the two ends of the hand hacksaw I cut the rim. I was as shocked as everyone else who saw it that it worked as well as it did.
We have missed you. It is great to see you back. Thanks for starting what we all know will be a great series. I will be anxiously waiting for each video.
Good to see you are well, Donn. Another brilliant video. Wheel banding is okay for a practical use where speed and boy racer super stretched dangerous tyres are involved. I hope your planned wheel bearings are up to the job
Great that you took time off for you and your family. Would have been great to have had the wheels put on a balancing machine just to see how much if any effect widening the wheels had. I forgot to say great video as always & welcome back. Can’t wait to see the new project.
I'll have to say that it doesn't take just experience for that accuracy. Some people just have the tallent for it / hand eye coordination. I've worked around many guys with decades of experience and they still cant handle an angle grinder like that. I also think that because when its more of a hobby and not a daily grind, we take more pride and time with work like this. Perhaps / Maybe, IDK, just spitballing here.
Very pleased to hear that the absence was due for positive reasons and not so many alternatives ! Good to see you back and looking rested and well ! = )
Happy to see you again... I was a little bit worry that you decided to stop to make videos ! I look forward the next vidéos with this new project.. greetings from France.
You do a great job on your projects. One of the things that I would enjoy is hearing you speak a bit about your background and education. I have looked at a lot of Swedish forestry equipment and I have been impressed by a number of manufacturers such as Kranman. I have a project in my mind for a system of hauling long logs out of the forest for use in building handcrafted log homes. I just bought part of a farm in Sweden three years ago and I am in the process of moving all my tools and equipment from Oregon (on the Pacific Ocean side of the US) to my property about three hours north of Stockholm. There is a huge shop building on the property and I will be building another building to house the sawmill that I'm bringing over. I will have no end to all the projects that I could take on. Congratulations on your work. You are an inspiration to many. This is especially true for me since I used to teach high school vocational forestry. I have been building all the tools, equipment, and vehicles that I wanted and could not afford to buy. Again, thanks for your commitment to quality design, workmanship and creativity.
Awesome idea! Seems like a natural next step upgrade for a driven forest trailer. Really looking forward to this series. Would love to have a machine like that as well
Glad to see you back Don I was wondering where you was I always enjoy your content good luck on your new journey that’s approaching your horizon can’t wait 👍
This will be another AMAZING DonnDIY build. I look forward to each and every one of your videos. Congratulations and best of luck with your “product” that you’ve developed. Whatever it is, I am sure it’ll be great.
I’ve missed seeing you build and your videos. I knew you from another country but I must give you credit on good your English is!! Can’t wait for more videos and to see what this mystery project is!!
Looking forward to more cool videos my friend! I'm glad you are doing well and I'm also glad that you took some much needed time off. There is more to life than work! Hope your family is well too. Happy Holidays.
at 3:00 and may I be the first one to add: Carbide tipped calipers are probably the best thing for engineers and metal workers, far surpassing sliced bread. 😉

Consider your self SEVERLY reprimanded.
There. That should restore the balance. 😋
WITH THAT VALVE PROTECTION, DOES THE RIM LOSE BALANCE DUE TO THAT EXTRA WEIGHT ON ONE SIDE?
Good to see you back my friend, I'm really looking forward to this build, going to be interesting!
So good to have you back! I hope all is well.
Mr. Donn, the projects you choose to share with us viewers are always fascinating and entertaining. You show an enormous amount of ingenuity overcoming obstacles with the tools that you have at your disposal. Thank you.
good to see you back, I can'tr wait to see how the forwarder progresses.
Nice to see you back again, missed the videos.
Donn ты не пропадай так на долго, мы уж начали волноваться. У тебя лучший DIY канал
So good to hear you speak, adds a feeling of connection to you as a person and not just the awesome projects.
Me time is very important for your headspace, and lots of people seem to overlook that.
Those tyres are incredible, all kinds of crazy mental bonkers right enough but somehow I think they will work hard with this project.
Stay safe my friend, we will see you when we see you

Nothing is greater than an idea that's time has come.
Seeing the wheel spinning on the lathe was nowhere near as terrifying as I had feared it might be 🙂 Great to see you back
Yhea mind you he kept the speed very slow not sure I'd want to see it going fast though.

I did not catch that information. Thanks, I think? As it sounds like you are trying to be insulting.
thats why i made the :3 smily so it cant be taken as insulting.
I understand that there's more to life than you tube. I appreciate all that you do and share on your channel.
Congratulations on your new endeavors.
Cool! Great job Donn!

It's good to see you back.
Stiill have the touch with the cutoff wheel. 👍
Motorizing that roller could be a new project to protect against heart failure. 😉
Welcome back son ! Glad to see you back in the shop and working on a new project.. Hope all is well with the wife and kid and homestead... 👍
Thank you for your explanation , they are very pertinent 👍👍👍👍
That is some pretty precise anglegrinder work
I'll have to say that it doesn't take just experience for that accuracy. Some people just have the tallent for it / hand eye coordination. I've worked around many guys with decades of experience and they still cant handle an angle grinder like that. I also think that because when its more of a hobby and not a daily grind, we take more pride and time with work like this. Perhaps / Maybe, IDK, just spitballing here.
p.s. loads of "professionals" are still "afraid" of angle grinders. I find it mind boggling.
Glad to see you again!
Looking forward to seeing more. 😎👍✌️
Great to see you back posting with more cool vids 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
