This was a very fun video , well most of them are fun. You bought a Pontiac Grand Prix in terrible condition. Rusted out floor pans, trunk. Engine that was not running well at all, In need of brakes. Needing extensive body work, rust removal. New carpet . Cheep but good paint job. And you put it all in one video!! Who else does that! And you finely found a sponsor!!!!!! Great family involvement! I like the way that you alway's can get so much done in such of what seems a bare min small garage! And the genius of it all alway's is sooo COOOOL! I knew a really good mechanic in the Army in Germany. His name was John and he was just great at getting thing's done in the worst of conditions and or enviorments. Circa 1983. Well keep up the fun and great work! Rather than them being made to run once, then put out to pasture and never see them again. This video magically transported me back to 1968, a time before wire welders and block sanders. A time when a boy with $50 and access to a decent hardware store could transform any motor vehicle into a worthy chariot for a prom date. Bondo saved more tri-5 Chevys than any restoration shop; prove me wrong! Too bad Earle Schibe is not around to give it that high gloss finishing touch. Although a poor boy like me had to settle for Rustoleum applied with a brush or roller because mom would not let me near her Electrolux vacuum cleaner.

I just have a quick tip for removing surface rust without leaving scratches or scuff marks, use some baking soda. Make a paste with it and you can remove the rust with just a paper towel. Baking soda will also remove tarnish, I use it to clean my silver and it works great.

You did a great job on that, and it's a decent-looking car you don't have to worry about a scratch. getting on it. Love to see you do more with this one, she does look good, if you're not fussy, and I am not.

The good ol' Aerosol Overhaul... Nothing wrong with that for a "just for fun" car.
Something Dad always did to de-gunk the innards of a filthy motor, was to run the car until it's good and warm, then dump a quart of new transmission fluid in the existing engine oil...
He'd then let the car sit there and idle for about an hour... Then throw it on the hoist and do a full oil change.
I always marveled at how it worked.

Dalton when I see JD working by himself on the car, I know it’s going to be done right. Jess with her humor and help adds so much to the channel. With all that said, adding your humorous wisdom makes your channel one of the best on UTube. I just loved this Pontiac build out with all the body and paint work involved. You dont go over every single inch of the car slowly and check if things work for 20 minutes...."Welp the clock doesn't work, dangit. You know i was a fan of this here Pontiac. But man, im a believer now! Premium oil change. Deluxe SEMA quality valve covers, and a Foose quality pant job. It's the finest quality touches that keep me coming to the PBG channel. I however did not expect the NOS floor pans and upholstery, bravo. I actually wouldn't mind a little bit more from the 77, its will to live is impressive. It's definitely loyal and deserves another $500 lavished upon it. And, wow the camera makes a difference 👌🏻🤘🏻🇺🇸

Awesome video. Brings back memories. I bought a 75 GP LJ with a 400 from a gentleman who lived by the creek back in 85. It had holes in the floor bad top. It was silver with red bucket seats. I did a ln amateur restoration pacthed the floor with sheet metal and pop rivets and sealed with roofing tar. Cleaned the red carpets with tide and had car painted at Earl Scheib for 99.95 ! Paid 300 for the car. Installed a new vinyl top with foam pad and vinyl from the fabric store. Car came out looking great but paint job only lasted 1 year then it all cracked. Those 400s ran great. Car is long gone as I sold to a buddy who ran it for years then sold it to his brother who ran it a few more years. It got towed away by the city for parking tickets was sad😢. Thanks for the great video.
