Bought the Callaway b21 driver last week finally got to the range to try it out and I must say I was very impressed with it I usually hit a fade but the b21 turned it into a long power cut for me and I gained 20 yards best money I ever spent and it goes straight
Same. It's a good club for sure. I put a diamana shaft in it
My slice goes straight for about 10 yards and then turns left (left handed player) and goes 200 yards that way.

Class video with the multiple fade attempts. 🤣. I'm 98mph swing and thought the 55reg shaft would be rubbish and needed the stiff. Your video has changed my opinion! If you can manage to control it at your speed I'm sure the reg will be fine. Great content in 2020 keep it up for 2021. 👍👍

Good review. ..but I can't understand that you want to play a fade/slice with a regular almost close stance . I know it is probably the camera angle...you are fun to watch please continue the good work. .
I would so love to be your mid handicap (15) slicing guy! I like skipping gaily between shots and we'd be such a match, but I'm in New Zealand. Now I want to cry.

I have played the callaway Rogue for the last 3-4 years. I have the rogue set on 8* draw with a project blue 5.5 65 gram shaft. I have also the same shaft in a 6.0 65 gram. Thought it was time for a new driver, so i got the Big Bertha B21. I have it set on 8* draw and got the driver with a project blue 5.5 75 gram shaft. Ball flight was way too high. Went as high as it did long. Also, it still has a fade or slice to it. I put my regular shaft in the B21 and ball flight on the height was alot better but still has a fade or slice. Also i am getting more distance with the Rogue than i am with the B21, and also not as much fade or slice with the rogue too.

I saw new Srixon drivers, ZX5 & ZX7 they look very interesting. I saw them on a Michael Newton review that was astronomical. Would like to see what you could do with the Srixons? BTW they are not available in the U.S. but if they really are that good i would Mail-order-bride them. 😆

i am a senior golfer at age 71.All know we loose distance at this @t particular flight is not high and my club speed is between 70 to 80 m/h. i am able to fade and draw on demand
My question if a buy a Callaway B 21 senior shat do you thing i will able to high my golf ball and gain distance first.? and second what longer the shaft i must put i am 5 feet 8 inches ?

Since my back probs I only ever fade my driver, would this potentially eliminate that fade into a straighter ball flight?

Is it fair to say it's not really a high moi, low(ish) spin head?
Would like to see Al have a couple of X Flex shafts with each brands tip adapter so we could see what he could really do
Could be rather pricey though. And would it really be much better do we come for the clubs or is it for Al interacting with said club
I have a ‘special shaft’ for this exact reason :)
I'm almost certain that he did use a high end X flex as the second shaft. Tensei Blue I believe.

Alex, you started with the Regular shaft? Also, when you are swinging, are you trying to swing in to out or straight to the flag? Just wondering if you have a swing thought. Thanks!
As I’ve been swinging in to out my entire life I just feel like I’m relatively neutral through the ball (will still be very in to out).
If hit my straightest drives when I feel like I’m almost hitting down on it - helps keep the face square at impact. As soon as I feel a particular swing path then my strike is usually jeopardised.
I do have many swing checks throughout the swing though.
And it was the regular shaft to start!

Funny story: I will usually slice my big Bertha B21 driver
Edit: I've gotten a bit better.
Edit 2: 11 degree setting and draw bias and I can usually hit them straight. I had it in 9 normal today and it wasn't the move.
Edit 3: I'm not consistent after hole 9 on a course. I'll often have a HEAVY low slice that is usually somewhat playable. Yesterday I didn't even bother using it after hole 14.
It is not designed to fade?
Al: I need a mid handicap with a fade that's local.

Imagine if you had 2000rpm spin rate! How do you get spin rate down Al?
The simple answer is going down in loft, I wonder if Al was hitting a 10.5 in this video. The long answer is learning to change club head delivery at impact. Lessons on a Trackman or other simulators help a bunch. Shaft weight and profile may have some effect on how you actually swing the club but does effect spin as much as people think.
