    Wow is right! Some of the best driver numbers I've seen from you. I'd take it out on your home course and play a couple of rounds with it and see how it performs. Perhaps aim 5 or 10 yards further right and play that soft draw. 300 yard carry with a 330 total equals short irons into most greens. Actually, I'd like to see you do an on-course test with it...others I think would as well. Good video as always.

    Maybe you should get the 10.5 and deloft it to open up the face. Alternatively, maybe you could try putting that exact same shaft into one of the other Callaway heads and see if it is the shaft or the head that is working so well for you.

    Thanks so much for your professional insight to this model of driver. I've been gaming the Fusion driver since it came out and considering an upgrade to this B21. One of my regular golf mates recently purchased the B21 and all of us have had a blast hitting this beast. No real difference in accuracy compared to the old Fusion driver is it meant to replace, but definitely longer by 15-20 yds on average. The sound is much more pleasing from the B21 as well. I should mention that our golf mate bought his B21 in stock form 45.75", and in 12* loft. My Fusion is the shorty version at 44.5", also set at 12.5*. I should also mention that we are all retired, living in the Philippines and play golf nearly everyday, year round. Cheers!

    Love this driver have been using it for the last month put a 9 degree b21 head on a mitsui Diamana r60 shaft. Have been hitting drives dead center down the fair way in the 270-290 yard range consistently. Ontop of looking good it brings a lot of confidence to my driver game .

    Bought this driver with a Mitsubishi Diamana BF 70 TX for 330$, and even though my swing speed suits a stiff shaft this driver has been really good so far, still overcutting it in certain drives but I’m not being punished with losing distance, in fact one really bad off centered hit got hit sliced right but carried 240 yards where as a slice with a different driver would have me lose about 20-30 yards, on the good hits I can hit a power fade carrying about 260 yards. So far so good, I’m hoping it stays that way for a while.

    I have a Callaway draw driver because I slice lots. With the draw I still slice it regularly. I'm looking in this one. Love the look and so far all the reviews on it have been great! The only thing negative is the price. A driver that's aimed for high handicappers and new golfers but at $649.00 Canadian that's a high price for occasional golfers. Great review Micheal thanks for the info! From Montreal, Canada.

    That is impressive. As a senior golfer who has lost some distance and accuracy, I would love to have an hour with that club on the range. I do hit more fades, to strong fades than I used to. Which robs me of distance. So, if this B21 driver could give me 12 to 15 straight or draw yards, I would put it in the bag. Even if I got 5-7 straight or draw yards and stayed in the fairway, it would go in the bag. I can’t wait to test one.

    Had the Callaway fusion and like an idiot I exchanged it for a Rogue. However I got used to the Rogue and liked it. Epic flash, tried it, no better than the Rogue, Mavrik and Mavrik max, tried it definitely no improvement. Becoming very sceptical about all the marketing crap that these companies continually churn out. So along comes the B21, what’s to loose I got talked in to giving it a try,,,,,, 40 balls later I bought it, at last a genuine step forward. Hallelujah !

    Michael i tried this club yesterday for the 1st time and after my round found that i was really impressed with this driver. I borrowed this club from one of our local stores as I am waiting on getting the new sim 2 driver, but after playing with this yesterday and correct I tend to slice the ball, this driver was definitionally longer than my previous sim max driver and I did not slice one drive. So the big question is do i keep this or get the new sim 2 I got a few more weeks until the new driver is available so this is going to be a hard decision . But this had helium 4F3 shaft which is lighter than what i had in my other driver but the distance was great

    I have been playing the Rogue driver set on 8* draw for the last 3 yrs. I thought it was time for a new driver, so i got the Big Bertha B21 because of them claiming to take the fade or slice out of your drives. I have the B21 set on 8* draw and still same as with the Rogue. Also, ball flight is alot higher with B21 using same shaft. Really too high for and distance for me. I hit the Rogue high but not as high as the B21 and i got more distance from the Rogue. I have played 5 rounds now with the B21, and also i have the project even blue stiff shaft in it, i can use same shaft for either club. So, B21 did not take my fade or slice out, and about the same distance as Rogue , but not quit.

  • @MrAhuraMazda
    @MrAhuraMazda 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    If you don't game this...
    Also I play an open fade bias Mizuno and I have a slice. It helped me tremendously cause in open face i can locate the ball in relation to the face easier and i draw it now actually. It's a personal thing, that little bit of openness locks me in. Even if your miss is left, a "draw" club like this may suit your eye in a similar fashion.

My bad slice is improved...but this draw bias club AND new lessons after 6 years w no lessons are my next move. I typically buy USED golf gear, retired on a limited budget....but lately regripped all my clubs, with new grips and putters w SuperStroke wider grips to calm my hands down putting...speaking of that...would like to request u do a video on putters...I always strike my putter 5 degrees left of the pin?

    • @The_Jimrod
      @The_Jimrod 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi David - that striking 5 degrees left could be the balance of the putter, something I'd never thought about but in trying a new Ping Scottsdale (Anser type) putter a few years back I was made aware of it, if you balance the putter horizontally in the air you can see if it's level or toe balanced - if it's toe that may well account for your miss and you may well be better of with something more "face balanced". Worked for me.

      I have both and the B21 sounds better and goes further (same shaft) but I do prefer the shape of the Mavrik max. B21 is in the bag..

    ive been waiting for this for years....im a 1 cap and my natural driver swing is a push, not a slice just a push. i tried the new cleveland hb driver last year was my straightest driver but too high to spinny. im thinking this will be the one for me..........

      Matthew Daniels I did! It really was a great driver. I moved on eventually cause I didn't love the triangle look. Performance was ideal really.

    Surprised at how well you've hit that Michael, impressive numbers🏌️💪🏼

    Wow! Those were unexpected results. I've always been leery of draw biased drivers, since my miss is mostly left, but this is very interesting indeed. Maybe they have pulled off the elusive combination of low-spin and forgiveness.

    Go get fitted for it Michael and compare it to see if fitting gets any gain on them massive numbers 👍👍

    Just paint out the "Big Bertha" and "B21" and ditch the head cover for something a little less, well, a little less bling, and you could actually have something playable.
    I wonder what a heavier, stiffer shaft might do to those launch and spin numbers. Your peak height is already pretty low with that thing.

    Just getting into golf and looking into purchasing my first driver. Would you recommend this club for beginners?

    How does the bertha compare with the mavrik?

      dunno about the Mavrik, but I've had the Mavrik Max before and I believe that the B21 is still more forgiving, and I'm a frequent slicer of the ball too

    Michael, what about a vlog from you playing these type of clubs vs. your own? I would be interested in seeing what the score difference would be.

    I'd be interested in seeing an average golfer try this driver. It's not designed for a player of Mike's ability. Can it really correct a slice?

      Nice suggestion Bill; MNG I standby to be your "crash test dummy" on the average golfer test for this club! I cant wait to get hold of one I have had my trusty old Cobra Fly Z XL in my bag since 2015 and even though I have tried Mizuno ST180 & TM M6 D Type, the Cobra still does it for me the best. I'm sure this BB B21 is going to be my next Big Thing! Pick me Pick me!!

    Hey Michael... wow. First, have you been doing speed drills? I recall you would hit a driver well and it would roll out just over 300. This was massive, 114mph club head seems 2-3 more than previous. Also, and I might have missed this, have you permanently moved to Penrith Golf Hub?
