    I was just fitted for the Reva’s. I’m extremely excited to get onto the fairway. It decreased my backspin, increased my loft and increased my carry. I too, am a leftie.

    Enjoyed the video. Thanks for showing swings for LH as 99% of the time is for right hand players. Considering getting fit for it.

    Bought the Callaway b21 driver last week finally got to the range to try it out and I must say I was very impressed with it I usually hit a fade but the b21 turned it into a long power cut for me and I gained 20 yards best money I ever spent and it goes straight

    I know this isn't a Callaway driver. But I have to tell you. I have a 14 year old taylor made R5 driver it is hands down the best driver I have ever had till this day it still bomb's. The sound that it makes when you hit it in the middle is awesome 👍

    I recently went to Golf Galaxy for a driver fitting. They were pushing this B21 as well as the Mavrik. Both look awesome. I now have Epic 3 and 5 wood and love them. But just wasn’t happy with the Epic driver. After an hour, I wasn’t hitting them well. I ended up with a Ping G400 which came out a couple years ago. After a few rounds I’m bombing my drives. No hooks or slices, just straight. Once in a while a “pull” comes but that also goes straight. So you don’t have to get the newest to hit well.

    Callaway drivers tend to be a slightly higher loft than they are marked. I have a Big Bertha 816 Alpha DBD which is marked 9.0 degrees but is really 10.4 degrees. Golfwrx tested a lot of drivers for center of gravity, loft, etc. All of the Callaways marked 9.0 were 10.4 degrees - very consistent to a tenth of a degree. I wanted 10.5 so I bought the 9.0 from Callaway Pre-owned. It works extremely well.

    Great review as always!!! More women’s club reviews needed 👍 Can you finish the B21 Reva line? Big fan of your channel!!!

    Thank you for the video. Did you find any big difference between this club and the Maverick? I’m a lefty so it’s nice seeing a lefty swing.

    Great vid. I just bought a left hand, pre-owned from their site w shortened staff for my wife. She did a fitting w other drivers that were okay. It's tough to find left hand for demos.

    I have both B21 and Mavrik Max and for me the Mavrik is straighter on std fittings. I prefer the head profile of the Mavrik also but the sound of the B21. Distance is similar so Mavrik wins as fairway finder and I have a natural fade swing..

    Great video! I fit people this past weekend and it is the perfect driver for the swing speeds in the 60s and 70s with the RCH. Need an upgraded shaft for faster swing speeds.

    I have been playing the Rogue driver set on 8* draw for the last 3 yrs. I thought it was time for a new driver, so i got the Big Bertha B21 because of them claiming to took the fade or slice out of your drives. I have the B21 set on 8* draw and still same as with the Rogue. Also, ball flight is alot higher with B21 using same shaft. Really too high for and distance for me. I hit the Rogue high but not as high as the B21 and i got more distance from the Rogue. I have played 5 rounds now with the B21, and also i have the project even blue stiff shaft in it, i can use same shaft for either club. So, B21 did not take my fade or slice out, and about the same distance as Rogue , but not quit.

    I saw the cub in person Sunday but didn't have a chance to hit so was interested in your review. At your speed it would be interesting to see this club in a stock 9* which you could then dial down to 8*.

    New golfer, hit this yesterday at pga store great club. Swung it w/speed of 120 avg , 1750 avg spin, with carry 200yds & total 232 yds offline 1 yard avg. Felt amazing my question is will this be better than the PXG 0811XF that I recently ordered on sale at half the price?

    Hey thanks for the review on this new beast! Just a quick question pertaining to the excessive spin rates, what ball were you using during testing? As I'm sure you already know, there are high spin balls, low spin balls and everything in between. Given that this driver looks to be aimed towards higher handicap golfers, senior golfers & lady golfers, it would seem prudent to test it with a ball suited to the aforementioned players, ie: a soft, low spin design such as the Callaway Super Soft, or Bridgestone Lady Precept, or any other low compression, low spin ball. Just my 2 pesos worth (I'm retired, living the dream in the Philippines and golf year round) ;)

    Currently swinging a Mavrik with a Motore x3 R6 shaft. My miss is normally right with a slight tale to the right. I swing right and swing speed is around 91. 5 years ago it was close to 100, hit 65 years. I do not have an issue getting the ball in the air. Looking at this b21 with a 55 shaft, R flex. Worried this might fly too high for me. Your thoughts??

    does anyone use the PETRONIO’S #8 RUBBER CEMENT to install grips(instead of the conventional way)- it allows you to just blow the grip off and re use the grip anytime you want. Its handy especially when/ if you wanna shorten or add length without having to just cut the grip off and install a new grip every time. I am constantly tinkering with length/swing weight so I have some grips I've taken off and put back on 6-7 times with no problems. Its really simple instead of sticky tape you use just plain masking tape-the glue bonds to the tape after a few minutes. You have to use something other than a Lamkin grip- most of those will still blow up(with the air hose) and have to be discarded. I use golf pride and super soft-no problems installing and re installing. It only takes about 30-50 lbs of pressure to blow the grip off when installed via the cement and I've never had a grip break lose from the glue during play. Just search for it online-a place here in Memphis sells it by the gallon. A gallon should last a few dozen set builds at least.

    Awesome content. Very interesting. Question: Did you find the lie angle interesting to hit? Any difference from your gamer?

    • @McGolf
      @McGolf  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      totally different from the SZ Mavrik. it was easy to hit but the face and draw bias was too much for me., for the fader or slicer this is a good club

    Hey Jim - did the rep mention if they can change weights in the sole to maintain swing weight for those who want to shorten the shaft an inch?

    What about starting out with a 9 degree head?

  • @dougcombs71
    @dougcombs71 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    So you're saying the high spin rate results you got were more a result of the driver head? How much influence does the shaft have in your spin rate results?

    • @McGolf
      @McGolf  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It comes down to the type of swing matching the club. Obviously I hit it well but the face angle cause a lot of issues for direct and that added to the spin IMO. THanks for asking I should have added that

    McGolf if you put in a custom shaft does it throw off the balance and weight of the standard assembly line shaft, and is that pured shaft really important or another money making scam.

    • @McGolf
      @McGolf  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No on the custom shaft. Particularly if it fits and maybe on the puring, it certainly can make the club more consistent, however my golfers are 50/50 some don’t know or care and the others can’t live without it
