Is the mod for attack animations portable for Xbox?
It's not as vanilla friendly, but I would also recommend Conquest of Skyrim if you want something new. It let's you make you own faction in the civil war, build your own army and claim land for yourself the same way you would with Lawbringer
CoS was so damn good but a pain in larger mod lists, had so many CTD because of it but it was exactly how I wanted to control the civil war.
Hope the mod will be out of WIP one day
Conquest is really buggy and often creates a lot of problems, you should *not* be recommending it
Does it work in Skyrim VR or what is an alternative?
I love that mod but sadly had to remove it; it was a compatibility nightmare in my LO (500+ mods)
That mod is amazing. It’s a little buggy and doesn’t play nice with city overhauls but man is it fun. I started a deadric cult that worshipped Azura and used the mythic dawn armor set by 4thunknown. We were called The Crimson Gate and we conquered Skyrim in style. I even got to execute Maven Blackbrier and Thoner Silverblood. It was a blast. Plus, there’s a new update coming out soon that will add a lot of new features and many bug fixes.
One mod that I would highly recommend is Immersive Aggressive Opponents - Armor-Based Opposite Faction Aggression, which makes it so that if the player is wearing legionary armour they will be attacked by Stormcloak soldiers on sight and vice versa

Nice mods. These will go well with Ambient Warfare audio mod, It feel like battles are taking place in the distance, its immersive.

The question here is..how many of these civil war mods are actually stable enough to include in a playthrough? Civil war mods don't have a good reputation when it comes to game stability
I did more than half of the Civil War quest (3 times) when making this video. Not all of the clips were used because of the time frame I had for each mods
I run a lot of these civil war mods one of which adds like 100 stormcloaks against imperials in one area. So far only one crash with over 300 mods.
Your modlist videos are a go to for me when I want to overhaul the games mechanics. The mods you recommend always add a lot of impact for a small handful of mods. Worthwhile content.

Theres another mod where the the civil war progresses through anyway if you dont pick a side. I believe its Open Civil War's settings set to do so and have Organic Factions, Fort Takeover Framework and the entire Lawbringer framework of mods all communicating together to get it to work
Open Civil War is not compatible with one of the Major overhaul mods I showcased here so I did not include it here :(.. For the other mods you mentioned, I already had the clips for those mods and was suppose to be part of this showcase, but I decided to save it for another special video I have soon! :D

Nice mods, will be adding to my mod list. Immersive patrols is the only mod I currently have that's civil war related, adds patrols to the world and if storm cloak patrol come across a legion patrol then a fight ensues.
Great video! I think it would be neat if you could do an overhaul like this but for the Dark Brotherhood, the Thieves Guild, or even the College of Winterhold :)

Hey capt panda I had question I need help with do you know somewhat about computers I have custom computer the specs are an rtx 2060 super an Asrock H310Cm-Dvs Motherboard and an intel i5 8400 coffee lake cpu the graphics look terrible on it when I was building the pc I didn't know what I was doing, ended up getting the wrong parts for it. Can you offer a solution and recommend which parts I Should swap to fix the the graphics I've been looking for an solution can't find one

Kind of a niche thing but going along with the actor-limit fix mod -- does anyone know if theres a mod out there that makes big crowds of a faction less... roboty? 2:25, every single soldier reacts at the exact same time and pulls out their weapons in unision. It would be cool if there was something out there that could stagger reaction times for NPC's of the same faction to prevent something like that.
That would be cool if there was a mod that touches the way NPCs pulls out their weapons~ hopefully soon

If not mistaken it's the mod Sons of Skyrim which give unique armor to the guards of every hold and factions of the civil war

These is a very nice mod pack, however which are the mods used for the armor? I really liked the stormcloacks armor. I tried some mods but unfortunately when i installed Skyrim at war it made the stormcloacks use only their vanilla armor
Idk abt the current state of Conquest of Skyrim development, but in concept it's also a great enhancement/replacer of the civil war.

I hope in future someone restore cut content from civil war, siege of markarth or riften. Capture Solitude with Tvlivs, or Windhelm with Ulfric, such potential to make civil even greater
As someone who played the mod, Open Civil War and Civil War Overhaul already restored sieges for all 9 holds, With latter also restoring unused radiant quests that allows you partake in various missions such as sabotaging resources, recruiting soldiers, take over towns and mines, etc, Even more with the possibility of losing the war.
However there’s no unused remnants for losing Solitude or Windhelm, Since that’s the Legion and Stormcloak’s main starting base.
The Conquest of Skyrim mod was the best thing in terms of Civil War but being still a WIP mod and having so many CTD due to conflicts with other mods made me uninstall it again.
I hope one day this mod is fully finished and can be played without much trouble.
Yes! I hope it gets more updates that fixes a lot of the CTD issues it's experiencing :)

Hey Panda, random question, but how do you get your first person textures so clean? I have a few mod lists, but the textures for hands and weaps in first person are really old looking
You probably need to find a higher resolution retexture for those weapons and for hands~
What are the armour mods youre using in the video? They look different and better from the current armour in elder gleam v2
Yes, these are replacers so it's not close to vanilla. However, I'll be having these installed in 2.1
BTW, armors are Sons of Skyrim and New Legion!

Yo, this video is awesome, one question are these mods working on the latest version of Skyrim AE1.6.1170? Have these mods been updated to stop being so script heavy and destabilizing?
I have tested all of these with Skyrim v 1.5.97. There are some that recently got updated so it might work with the latest version.
@CaptPanda OK, I'll look into them. I just hope they are more stable, I was really into modding 2 years ago, and I had to make a specially loadorder just to try them before cause they we so script heavy

Nice gotta have them all . Honestly until the first mods started dropping addressing the war I had completely forgotten that there was supposed to be a war .. don’t think I knew of remembered it during my first play on launch back in the day.
I get big battle limitations do to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Even PC at the time. But the world details in hindsight it was just weird and lazy
hahahah same... maybe a few camp visits but nothing really grand that makes you feel that there was an actual war. Luckily... mod authors saved the day again

Nolvus is a complete overhaul of Skyrim. It will most likely be incompatible or bugs here and there when adding mods that overhauls stuff even more
