Dude's torture in the Hell would be playing vanilla Skyrim
😂😂
I still love vanilla Skyrim for its buggy enchanting and OP legendary leveling system. I hate buggy quests tho
I consider Vanilla and Fully modded to be two different games entirely. Sometimes I'll just decide to open up Skyrim on my switch.
No need to fiddle around with downloads and mod managers for days on end, just open up, watch the 20 minute intro as I brainstorm on what kind of character I want to play, and off I go to be the exact same spell-sword I always play.
What’s Skyrim, I’ve been playing 2023 game called Novlus
Playing vanilla Skyrim all over again would be a dream come true
Looking at the thumbnail I thought it was gonna be a mod that let you grow your hair and beard over time 😭
Same 😭
dirt and blood has that system, if I'm remembering right. it does hair and beard growth but it Alerts you with it, like you could either trim it or let it grow
@@rainin8956 really? Is that a new addition? I remember checking out that mod like 3 years ago and I don't recall seeing that about beard growth in its description
@@miossid yeah I think it's new, I just added the mod 2 weeks ago. you could find it on the descriptions (2nd to last of the "Features")
@@rainin8956 nice! I'll check it out again
Your overhauls are always so nice. Especially when you take the time to show your setting and make mentions of how the help them play nice with other mods.
I second this comment!!
Timely as usual! I was just exploring mods that would allow mw to approach the game in a new way, and seriously, I think every one of these mods is going to be added to my game!
the GOAT for mod showcases.
What fine, new gems for my current modlist! Thanks for showing!
The Dragon Souls To Perk Points is nice, but i like the "Dragon Soul Relinquishment" mod, since you can use Dragon Souls to also enhance other parts of your character, like carry weight, unarmed damage and, yes Perk Points
I was thinking I'd use that instead, true.
Excellent video. Despite being interested in these mods I had been avoiding them for a while because I didnt like how they each interacted with the vanilla system. But combining them together to create an entirely new system looks to work really well.
For example 'Exercise' plus the 10 points you gain from every level made my characters stats grow too quickly for my liking in the early game. On the other hand 'Geometric Stat Growth' made my characters stats grow way too slowly.
But combining the two looks like a very interesting synergy.
Used Static Skill Leveling Rewritten for a while and everything was good until I decided to start a warrior character and my two handed skill would not increase. Lots of others are having similar issues if you check the comments over on the nexus page. Just a warning to those considering using it to make sure you test and make sure all of the skills are leveling up properly before you get deep into a playthrough only to realize one of your skills is broken.
Having that problem too, if it helps, I think any mod that does anything to the actor values may causing the problem, I was attempting to use this mod with classic classes and birth signs SSE (Reimagined) with the set AV scripts addon and I noticed the problem, when I turned it off, it started to work again, also, if you edited the Experience mod's ini, it may have also stopped the skills from leveling as well
I’ve been using this exact set up for awhile and game play is so smooth. Much more engaging
These are literally about to have me modding again
How beautiful are the modern mods though? It literally turned skyrim into a modern game. I think the only thing we are lacking at this point is good enemy ai and that's it
Great video. I'm actually using most of this mods already. Except for "Dragon souls to perk points". Instead I'm using a mod that gives you perk points for completing radiant quests (forgot the exact name) combined with missives. This was you have a very good purpose to make those radiant quests.
This possibly best modlist ive ever seen these r such good simple improvements
Great ideas on how to combine mods, while also sharing your settings and tweaks!
Fantastic video! Love your channel mate :)
What a great list, thank you :D
Another banger thank you!!!
I really like the idea of the fallout points leveling system in Skyrim. Way better thanks for the video
Great video, bro!
Finally useful video. Congratulations.
Experience is freaking AMAZING! The more i played with it, the more bummed i was that we didnt get this sort of leveling system in the base game.
I really enjoyed pairing it with Requiem once i got the patching sorted.
It’s a good day when a new Softgaming video comes out.
Wow, man, have you been up all night editing this? Dedication!
I also recommend as an alternative or alongside geometric stat growth the mod limited leveling by rough shot that decreases the amount of stat gain you get per level to a tiny 5 . I also recommend any mod that gives you a permanent bonus every time you make a skill legendary and a mod that makes legendary return you to a moderate value rather than resetting you to the beginning that way you get a constant bonus for constantly leveling a skill without sacrificing perks
I really like MOD Experience, especially because it's just SKSE. I used it in LE and now I want to use it again.
Mic sounds good!!
Very, very, very, very nice!
Its so cool to see what Skyrim become, i played some heavy modded list over the time, but i like to keep in touch with the old buggy Skyrim that i fell in love with over 10 years ago
Great list. I love pretty much all of your suggestions except for one. I'll pass on the Static Skills Leveling one, because to me, it is immersion breaking to be able to gain points in a skill I never used, and it makes sense to have to use a skill in order to grow stronger/better at it. Increasing skills through repeated use and practice feels just as natural IMO as repeatedly lifting weights to increase one's lifting strength or reading a lot to improve reading ability and speed. If anything, I'd say Static Skill Leveling sounds more like an exploit to me than vanilla, 'magically' gaining knowledge in something you may never have even thought about doing before, lol. :P
That being said, I think I'll use every other mod you suggested in my newest modlist, so thanks a lot for this video and your suggestions. Cheers!
loving how this modlist looks. need that wabba installer dude
It would great if he would post a mod collection on nexus of all his different molding overhauls
Not sure how I feel on Static Skill Leveling Rewritten
On one hand, I don't have to farm Pickpocket. On the other hand, I don't have to farm Pickpocket.
what mod are u using for landscapes texture ? looks dope
I may have to give these a try. Also, my main question is what Mod line up are you running because it looks fantastic!
Nevermind....I found his mod list XD
Dude amazing video!
I'm a bit of a armors mods collector, and I'd love to know what armor mod your character is using
It's called Viking Armor Collection
The fact that these mods exist and skyrim is mostly unchanged as it is despite its immense potential is truly telling by how its handled by its own creators
Hey love the video. Was wondering about the compatability between exhuastion/exercise and static skill leveling. Would the upgrade attribute such as health or magicka interfere with the stats upgrading that comes with exhuastion and excercise? thanks
Do you mean geometric Stat growth? And no they are separate
I love mods and theyre also a big part of my experience too. But if youre doing that much to the game youre no longer playing the same game just play something else that meets what you want.
This man's skyrim deadass looks like how I imagine Elder Scrolls 6-
I'd love if you ever released your Skyrim setup as a wabbajack modpack.
I use and love the experiance mod I’ll check out the rest of these, sky shards I personally hate though look super cheese.
you forgot to mention that geometric stat growth requires this in the uncapper "set bUseAttributesAtLevelUp to false"
Great video man. Are you playing on the latest version? 1.6.6? Or 1.5? I just got the latest version, but I'm wondering if i should downgrade
I'm still on 1.5 but rhese mods should work fine on 1.6
Hello, can you tell me what is the mod that produce blood splatter when you hit the enemy? nice vid anyway
i need a mod that decreses my skills over time
What is the armor you were in the begining of the video?
Erm.. You are adding a mod that improves your stamina while running to add immersion, but then adding a mod that means you can swing sword for days and still be 15 onehanded.. seems purpose breaking
Right ? Earlier he's like "just dumping points into a stat when you lvl up is dumb, much more immersive if it increases when you use it", but later he's like "having to use skills to level them up is dumb, it's way better if you can just dump points into them when you lvl up". Contradictory much ?
@@strawhatoverlord9184 Indeed. The Static Skills Leveling one is the only one I won't be using in the list. I think the vanilla skill leveling method makes a lot more sense, like lifting weights repeatedly to improve lifting strength. Makes a lot more sense than magically gaining alchemy when you never even touched the stuff.
I will however still definitely use Skyrim Skill Uncapper to increase the skill cap, and to lower the speed at which XP is gained for skills because they do tend to go up too fast for my taste.
Im desperate for this guy to bring his modlist to wabbajack
It's a good mod showcase
Any chance of updating the google drive that has your modlist soon :), really love how your game looks
Hey yes I will do soon
@@SoftGamingOfficial good to hear 👍
I wonder if it's possible to make Exhaustion and Exercise work only when Survival Mode is enabled.
my new pc is being built i can’t wait to finally play modded skyrim with a good frame rate 😭
I installed Static Skill Leveling Rewritten middle save and it worked well... Until I started a new save. Now can't level up one handed, two handed and Marksman don't know why. All others skills can be upgraded normally. Any idea what's happening? I'm using all the mods of this video plus ordinator
For some reason when I tried to use Static Skill Leveling Rewritten, the MCM didn't appear, and changing the settings in the ini didn't work either, does anyone know why?
What is your nordic dungeon texture mod?
What armor mod are you using for the background gameplay captures?
It's from the viking armor collection
please update your modlist bro, some of it have a bug recently, big thanks🤙
This may not be to ask but can anyone help a brother out? I’ve followed his mod list and have everything added but several mods are installing without esp. most notably is northern farmhouses. I’ve tried reinstalling and moving things around but I can’t get the esps to appear. Any ideas?
when u level up your xp bar sems very cool can u tell me the mod name please ?
Wish I could get my Viking character to look like the thumbnail character on the right side. 🤔🙁
someone cooked here
No Pumping Iron?
Anyone know if sleep to level up works with this setup?
For the love of God, what is the hair mod you're using? I've seen it in so many skyrim mod videos but no one ever puts what it is.
It's called valkyr hairstyles
@@SoftGamingOfficial thank you thank you
This is a mod so that you can level your stamina by running around everywhere.
Leveling illusion by walking around casting illusion spells all the time is an exploit, so here is a mod to remove it.
I NEED to know what mod the experience bar is. I want that
It's Nordic UI
@@SoftGamingOfficial thank you
whats the mod that allows you to roll and do attacks like that?
The roll is from dynamic dodge
I don’t remember Skyrim looking like that
can you tell me what are your AI MCO movesets? i've been trying to find some good ones that work for animated armoury and heavy armoury
I use holmgang
@@SoftGamingOfficial hmm, i tried that one yesterday, but I'm gonna try out some of the For Honor in skyrim ones
@@SoftGamingOfficialLove all your Skyrim vids thank you! I believe you play also with a controller, would you consider doing a vid on your choice controller set up?? Thanks again!!!
@@ikeharrison1 hey thanks man yea I can take a look
what mod is it that shows the name and health bar on the Bandits? at the very start
TrueHUD
Cant play without experience
I have learned that no matter how many mods you add to skyrim, it will forever be as wide as an ocean but as deep as a puddle. Thats why I dont see myself ever playing it again.
I understand this. I don't agree with 100 percent. But I do understand it.
I think that's because mods can only go so far. They are really cool, but the game itself is the limit to how deep they can go.
@@evilpac2327 yeah
@@evilpac2327 I agree, it's also because a lot of mods are "utility" or graphical. There are not enough mods that CHANGE the vanilla experience enough to make it not the vanilla experience. More in depth stories and actually in depth non fetch quests could make the world more "deep" but they are rare and hard to come by. Endereal is one. It's a whole new game inside Skyrim lol.
@@SKYKLFthere are alot of quest mods. Jayserpa, nimwrairh make some good roleplay oriented ones.
I loved the video but personally I dislike the whole idea of the static skill leveling mod, I don't like the system in Fallout and I wouldn't like the system in Skyrim. Being able to allocate points wherever you want despite not actually using the skill is ridiculous to me, you mentioned the original system being easy to cheese but this way is also just as bad, at least you have to grind and literal cast spells over and over and over again like you would if magic was real to get better at it. I do really like discovering areas granting xp, and clearing dungeons and doing quests granting xp. But if you do all that and the whole time you don't cast a single restoration spell, but level up your character enough to max out your restoration without ever actually using the skill I think that's immersion breaking for me, cool mod for sure and it's good that you can modify it through mcm but I feel like it's easy enough to cheese
jfc I swear whenever I'm on youtube my mod list grows by a few mods.
I'm alteady at over 750....
Wait so I can have these mods on my msi rtx i5? Bruh I have vortex but she doesn't like my computer, or the file directory. What do I do?
Start with learning what your computer specs are and what they mean :D
does anyone know which hair mod he uses?
Valkyr hairstyle
@@thedude882 Thanks bro!
Soft my dude how are you? ...Wabbajack when :3
Hey haha soonmy friend
I hated having to grind smithing And potions your level rises but fighting skill stay low
2hspecialattackmod
Static skill leveling rewritten is a crap! I faced a blocking bug with it and was totally ignored by Mod Author, later I found that other people reported the same issue and were ignored as well...
Does anyone know what the hair and beard mod is?
Hair is valkyr hairstyles and beards is beards of power
@@SoftGamingOfficial thank you
I find that Stamina-Ehaustion one mod not correct!
It should INCREASE your stamina, the more you sneak and run!
Not Vice-Versa!
Do you get me or am i totally dumb, here?!
What modlist you using ?
My own modlist :)
@@SoftGamingOfficial Link?
Combat looks amazing...
How can I increase experience's level cap? It's 255
That's controlled by the skill uncapper mod not experience.
After watching this Vid long enough, i conclude for myself, ... Dont use any mods that manipulates the skill-system!
I mean honestly, levelling in Skyrim goes so "smoothly" ; i dont see no need to speeding this up or slowing it down - just leave it as it is!
My Opinion.
I know a lot of players love the experience mod and generally say it's how an rpg should work or like you said stops you from cheasing the game. So I know I'm in the minority when I say I think it ruins the most immersive part of skyrim.
How do you get better at casting illusion spells? You practice casting weak illusion spells. You can then learn to cast more powerful illusion spells and become more efficient at casting lower level spells. Same with sneaking or smithing. When I first played Skyrim it blew my mind and I still think it's amazing. What's more immersive? Going through a dungeon killing bandits in heavy armor and a greatsword and ending up being better with heavy armor and a greatsword or gaining a level by doing the same thing then putting fifteen points into sneaking.
You can cheese any system but the check to that in skyrim was supposed to be that every skill would contribute to leveling you, and the rest of the world, up. Gaining twenty levels by crafting then enchanting and selling iron daggers, or any other cheese thing you could do, should have resulted in you getting your ass kicked in combat. On the flip side, only focusing on combat skills should have made the other parts of the game harder instead of rewarding you so much that there was never a reason to work at anything else.
If experience is more fun for you that's great. That's what modding is all about, making your game more fun for you. But in my opinion it's throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Thank you for the content.
So the gardian stones are useless with these mods right?
no
@@tng514 how lol?
Why do you sound depressed?
i swear thats the worst running animation ever created :D
Damn the first mod fucking sucks
