Of course he had a G-suit. 9G is the standard for USAF-type fast-movers. The F-15, F-16, F-22, and F-35 are all 9G airplanes and the pilots need to be able to deal with that. I know the requirement for light-grey F-15 fleets is 15 seconds; I'm not sure about the others.

It's only couple seconds and the recovery is near instant without long lasting effect. It's basically no different than jumping very hard without getting tired. In fact, high jump can causes more G's than F1 car does. The real challenge becomes when those forces are applied for long time consistently, like in a fighter jet doing difficult maneuvering.

Given that generally speaking the fitter you are the lower your blood pressure is ... it might not be entirely surprising that he is able to not pass out. The other guy was almost definitely much fitter than Jezza and probably has a lower blood pressure on average as a result ... maybe why he passed out and Jeremy didn't! But most likely a number of things.

I think the closer you are to the middle of the rotation, the less effect you get compared to further away. In the middle, it'll probably just feel like being in a train, because you're not getting pulled as much.

simple, the closer you are to the middle the less centripetal(less swing) force is felt. it's like a fan blade, the tip of the blade moves faster than the middle, resulting in far less speed and pressure.
normally in g's like that you not flying anymore but just along for the ride that put you in that kind of position and hope you didnt do it too much and g-lock out. there guys who can take 9 but they go thru insane training for this in these things repeatedly. big props to you Jeremy took it on hard if they put ya at 5 did better then the actual pilot! *_*
In that video, I think they said that the down force of the wind on the Caparo T1 is 4G in order to keep it stuck to the down since the car is so light. The 4G of wind does not push down the driver.
What would be awesome is to change the seating position so that the g's fling your body backwards instead of downwards. That way you'd be able to simulate the acceleration of a formula one car or a top fuel dragster, but constantly :). Should be fun!

@kdy2boy The outside of a spinning object is faster than the inside. Kind of like a cd or record. The point where jeremy is has to travel further but do it in the same time as the point where the controllers where sitting. Therefore more speed in a circular motion = more g force. Hope this helps :D
When looking at a fixed point you won´t get dizzy, except when being extremely sensitive about external, non-self induced movement or that point is straight above you.
