I really appreciate you taking the time to test your gear. It drives me absolutely crazy watching other channels review gear after one use if that. Cheers Dave.
I agree with your assessment. You and Mark are spot on. Another negative for me is the proprietary charging cord. If I leave the cord at home I can’t charge it?? All things considered I won’t be buy it.
First! JYF here we go! Great review, I don't currently have a torch needed for my EDC, but I did buy the Thrunite T1S which you admired so long ago and I am good with it.
i like your reviews. you give it a good run through all the options, and let us see what's happening. then you give honest pro's and con's about the product. that's what all of us want, could save us some money and maybe a failure of the product. me personally your reviews helps me choose the gear i buy. thanks keep it up. and my boots are dirty. lol
Maybe the purpose of the clip is so that it can be attached onto a hat brim, in lieu of a headlamp. But definitely not for a pocket carry, as you demonstrated. Solid and honest review as always. Cheers, bro!
I believe, if your flashlight has proprietary charging, at least add a split cable with your charging end and the other USB C. That way I have a good reason to carry your cable and an extra.
I hear you James, this particular light is a no go for me account the cons you mention. The carry clip was poorly conceived as well as the wide gap in lumens between high and turbo. For $70 there's better lights with more usable features. Nice video and review, thanks.
Funny mark always notices thongs like this I seen him do a Hudson bay knife I never noticed the problem lol man you are so right bout that clip 70 bucks I think is a bit much but its your choice right
I don’t know why you don’t stick with Olight. I’m sure I’ve seen you with them. Olight are great at supporting people that support them. I’m not keen on the Ui on your torch, Olights are much easier to use. You need to muck around too much for strobe.
eh... too fancy for my taste I really don't care for all these hi-tech flashlights my lite has 3 brightness depending the 18650 battery comes out for charging or putting in a fresh battery I carry a couple of spare batteries battery level... it starts blinking when the battery is dead
i'm gonna just say it....70 dollars..thats a joke to me...i buy 5 dollar aluminum cree flashlights and they have a glass lens, they use 1 AA battery and super reliable, and they work everry bit as good as that thing..i can buy 14 cree flashlights for the price of that...and if i lose them, give them away etc...its no big deal.
Cheap flashlight don't last long. I would never rely on a cheap light in the Backcountry Wilderness. They can't handle impacts and are not water proof. $70 is cheap for a flashlight.

Excellent honest feedback, James! Much appreciated. One of these days, I would love to come visit from Tucson. Keep up the great content!

I think the feedback is on point. It is good as is, but it can be great if the feedback is implemented.
As always, great review, brother!
Have you thought about getting an arkfeld uv or arkfeld pro from Olight? The uv light could come in handy out in the desert for the bugs and hunting

You're fingernails are always so perfect. You've got me questioning my sexuality over here !😅
I have a few Trustfire lights. The 18650 ones for under $20. Good lights. Does anyone really NEED a strobe? I like a simple on and off.

Convoy, Sofirn, and Wurkkos have the best great quality budget lights hands down. Much cheaper than that one too.
Trustfire is as cheap as sofirn, and some models have better quality..
The charging cord is a no go for me. I like regular batteries. Great review

It looks like a sweet flashlight. A better pocket clip would definitely be better for sure
Mark is awesome.
So during a full moon will Moon light mode be cancelled out by the full moon 🌕 light like to see that video 😂👍👌✌️🫡🇺🇸
Yeah, id say clip is a hat clip. Who knows how accurate the minutes of power is. Most people just use them for a short time, unless doing night hikes

Olight is overpriced.
I would also feel better if it was around the $50 range! But I’m broke as hell.😅
👍🍻
