    Thank you so much for this video and your other plantar fasciitis videos! I have had severe plantar fasciitis for over a year now. What you say makes sense and gives me hope. I am going to try the toe exercises to increase my toe and foot strength. There is so much confusing information out there. I've watched so many YT videos on PF and been in tears several times bc of the pain. Thank you so much for sharing this information!

      I also had plantar fasciitis for a year and in terrible pain. Some things that worked for me was Althean video on TH-cam, his stretches were amazing, a dotted pigeon stretch and the toe curls that this dr recommends

    FYI, I cured my Panter issue by wearing cowboy boots. I had them on both heels for ten years. A foot Dr told me to Wear the boots and it worked.

    Hi Doc. Since I have it in both feet, I lead a life in bed to take the pressure from my feet. I first do light exercises to strengthen the foot muscles. I also left the stretching of the plantar fascia as well as the stretching of the calves. I've had it for almost 6 months. Can plantar fasciitis also cause pain in the M. Abductor Hallucis?

    I have terrible pain when I put weight on foot- just in small area on outside corner of foot? Is that also plantar fasciitis? Or further issue with sciatica on that side? Or both? Would appreciate your expertise as am in the UK & spent fortune on various ‘experts’ & expensive orthotics & housebound because of pain. Many thanks

    The doctor who treats Plantar fasciitis is known as Physical therapist or Podiatrist? We live in Anaheim California and my husband suffers from severe heel pain?

    • @Fieldstone2
      @Fieldstone2 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi. The physician who treats feet is the podiatrist. Physical therapists also treat this condition- some of them are DPT, doctors of physical therapy. Did he try these above tips?

    • @farhatkhan2629
      @farhatkhan2629 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Fieldstone2 yes he tried going to the podiatrist but after making him stand and pointing out the slight bent of left shoulder, he prescribed him the cushion pads 3 m to support the bent area foot heels ! That’s it ! But this pain has increased after 6 months of treatment!! Please help !! Thanks for replying!

    Should i use arch support for over pronation or just exercise ?

    • @epmanualphysicaltherapy

      Hey Amritpal! You can use arch support but working on the feet muscles is the best for long term! Here are two great videos on flat feet (overpronation)! Hope they help!

      How to fix heel pain for high arches feet?

  • @Elizabeth26.2
    @Elizabeth26.2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks so much for these videos. I am a runner and have been having issues with plantar fasciitis and shin splints. I supinate and strike with my midfoot. I do PT exercises that I learned when I was in therapy and also do strength training 2-3 times per week. But I’m still having issues.
    What insoles (specific to runners) do you recommend? I currently use Powerstep Pulse Maxx but I think they may be too hard. My running shoes are Hoka Bondi. Also, my foot is on the flat side. Two pregnancies and age have made my high arches collapse over time.

      I highly suggest wearing the Hoka Clifton 9 . I’m also flat footed
