With all the seperate led light systems you have on your AT4 can you get a system to synchronize all of them for the color changing and effects. In other words one app/control for all the lights. Man, I wish! Like home security....everything has its own eco system. I would love to be able to get everything together on one app, but I can't see it happening anytime soon.

Maybe put the Dons Life emblem under the hood 🤔 so you can see it when u lift it up or somewhere on the back of the truck.
Very cool idea, but not a fan. IMO it looks cheap during the day but cool at night. I like your original aftermarket idea

Looks great! I may get one. What I REALLY want is a better steering wheel. You know, with those bumps at the 10 and 2 position, flat bottom, and 1/2 leather (top section smooth). Have you thought of that?
Not a bad call. I assumed there wasn't a sportier version. If you find one, let me know. The only thing is I don't really want to give up my heated steering wheel option either
I have the same exact truck as you. I just got and installed the OEM finish ones with the 6.2L emblem and yes those OEM badges are hard to get off. I broke one of the plastic pushthrough pins on each of them. The one closest to the front of the truck. Just couldn't get my hand and tool at the right angle. Their not going back in anyway, so not a big deal and could probably superglue them back on if need be.
My bigger problem is trying to find the circuit the DRL's are on or something that comes on with the truck to tap. I've tried the parking lamps, fogs and a few others, but haven't found one that will come on with the truck in accessory or running position. Tapping the Parking lamps/fogs work, but only come on when it's dark or I manually turn them on to load the circuit. Any suggestions?
love your channel, always have great ideas and how to on here.. since you have a bit of a following I will gift you this idea to see if you can prompt one of your relationships to make it happen.. my tv remote button will light up when I pick it up, our phones will do the same, automated light at home etc.. how come no auto manufacturer makes a key fob that lights up..?

Will the badge illuminate when it receives power or does it need to be turned back on via the app every time?

It will turn on when it receives power. The app is only needed to change colors/settings. Once set, it stays.

Wish they made ones for the 3.0 Duramax. They've got the 6.2, the 5.3, and the I-4 (Essentially the flag ones), but not the Duramax.

what happens when you wash your truck over time? would it come off, since you are not using clips to install the emblem?
It would be just like emblems from the factory. They need heat applied to remove with the help of tools

I ordered these and im so confused on how the wiring works. It says a 12v 2a power source but i cant find anything that has that. There doesnt seem to be a 2amp fuse with a mini2 probg connector

@@KILLINXSPREEX sorry I am on a work trip and nowhere near my truck or I would check mine for you. I believe I combined both lights to a 12v 5a fused spot on my Auxbeam switch panel. I just can’t remember if each light is 2amps on its own or 1amp x 2
@@Donslife they go to a single Bluetooth device that connects to 1 fuse that apparently has to be 2amp or lower. All the fuses in the box under hood don't allow a 2amp or lower due to the type of fuse they are so I'm unsure what to do at this point.
I can't figure out why the dopes at GM don't have some sort of "Aux Light" package where they sell all this stuff for $2k. Maybe the dealers don't want to mess with it.
The aftermarket community seems to be happy filling the void

It would be the same install as me, so most likely. I wired mine to an aftermarket switch panel under the hood and still needed the driver’s side to reach to the passenger side. If you tap the headlight fuse, you’ll need to do the same thing
