This video just sealed the deal! I've been stalking popups online for months. I've always wanted to be a camper but I HATE sleeping in a tent. I looked up renting a popup and it literally costs the same to buy a used one vs. renting one. We are in MN and can drive a couple of hours for a weekend trip. So pumped!
Just bought a 1994 Jayco (usually tent camp) for 300 dollars and I can’t wait to use it! Currently cleaning it.
Last year I got a 12’ Viking and we have a lots of memories in just 1 summer, this year more adventures is on the way for sure . I love people like you guys , just enjoy the life without spend a lots of money, we are in the same way.

Great video! We absolutely love our pop up camper, this will be our third summer with it. We just got back from a grand adventure "social distancing" on a lake in TN and at 2 spots in FL. So much better than a hotel room with 4 kids. 😳 Making great memories. 💗

Great video...This is why we love Navarre and will never move. Love the small town vibe and some of the best beaches and fisheries.
Navarre is terrible, there’s no reason anyone should ever go there. If someone wants a real Florida beach experience, then they need to go to Daytona. They should definitely not go to Navarre or the Gulf Islands National Seashore. Ever.

Ive been popup camper camping since 2000, its great changed out to a high wall Rockwell, it's luxury popup worth the money. Love the way you can open up the camper and feel like youre in nature. Its great

We have some of our best memories in our Pop-up. Nothing is a wonderful as the sound of raindrops on the canvas. We have moved up to a 5th wheel and have talked about going back to a pop-up

This was a really good video, Yak. I really liked the tone of it. Your camper looks like one of the tents from 1001 Arabian Nights on the inside after you guys re-did it. Sorry you and Sam couldn't get hitched this weekend, but the only thing you're missing is a piece of paper at this point. You're living good - keep being awesome.
Darn it, Yak, now I want one! I borrowed my neighbor's old Palomino popup camper back in 1998. Had to get a hitch installed on my 1991 Olds Ciera to pull it, and it did a good job of pulling the camper without any big mishaps. I had two small sons at the time and we pulled it to the Badlands of South Dakota the first day. It was really hot there, but it was an adventure. Will never forget the thrill of camping where there were rattlesnakes to look out for. It all added to the memories we came home with.
The lady and I have been contemlating getting a pop-up. We are big time adventure people. This is a great video. Giving me a big push.................

We bought a 1985 sunlight pop-up with our wedding gift money for 600 bucks. Best 600 I've ever spent. The canvas needs replacing bad after all these years but I keep patching it with gorilla tape. Thanks for sharing y'alls adventures with us. Peace!

I've just watched this video and love the idea of pop up camping at the beach. Is this the Navarre Beach Camping Resort? That's all I could find in Navarre. If so, which camp site is that C51 or B50? Thanks for your help....and keep the pop up camping adventures coming!
I see a lot of you tubes on pop up remodels but I like your approach. Some remodel just to have a channel and followers but you do it to document your experience with your family and actually use the pop up . Thanks for your channel
Hey you guys have been an inspiration when it comes to pop up camping and renovations. We got a lot of ideas for your channel and applied it to our old but new to us Starcraft pop up. Maiden voyage is next weekend and we are super excited. 9 day trip here we come.

How am I just now finding this channel?? My husband and I have 2 RVs waiting for the day our youngest gdaughter graduates and then we r hitting the road full time. My husband has already been using the smallest one and a van he outfitted to travel nurse!! What a wonderful channel! You reminded me of some dreams I had put up on a shelf...time to dust them off, and make memories happen!!
I just put a deposit on my first camper and I'm so excited! I've put off camping alone for so many years, and I'm finally doing it. Driving 825 miles to Mississippi from Texas to go get it and even had to buy a new car to tow it! I'm hoping to use it while squirrel hunting too!

Best video ever! Wife and I are looking for one for next year up here in Nova Scotia! Pro tip: make sure you double check the canvas where the bed meets it at the end of the camper where the hitch is. As a child I fell out of the bed and missed the hitch by inches!

Glad your area is no longer in lock down. Here in California we're still locked down, somethings are opening up, but most are still closed including state and national campgrounds. We bought a class C motorhome and we still have not used it.

I’m a desert dweller. Our available water is a couple hours away. But my wife and I just retired. We’re both disabled but we also both just got kayaks. A pop up might be what we need!

Like a lot of fun. My suggestion is tell your friends to bring their own camper or tent. Unless we r sharing everything inside that camper, get your own place.

Great video. We started out tent camping, then bought a pop up. Then upgraded to a small travel trailer. Your right, camping is awesome. Were trying to go to our local lake next weekend. Kayaks and all. Best wishes to you and Sam in yalls future together!!!

We have a 32ft camper that we have to leave at the lake because its a pain in the ass to haul. I finally convinced my hubby to buy a pop up this year and wow its been amazing just going where we want. Debating on selling the big camper now!

We had never heard of "walking tacos" before. We just tried some based on the detailed recipe which was contained in the video 🤣🤣🤣. They were AWESOME!!! My wife had some Doritos and Fritos ones and I had Doritos, Fritos, and Cheetos. We used ground pork (I couldn't bring myself to pay $5/lb for beef). We are DEFINITELY having those on our next camping trip. Thanks a bunch for introducing us to this incredible camping cuisine 😁😁😁

Used to camp at Ft. Pickens and St. Andrews when I was a kid with my parents. Drove there from Indiana. Moved to Texas and have camped there a few times taking the boat with us.

I've own a travel trailer then sold it and bought a popup trailer. I liked the popup much better because it felt so much more open when camping and when it got to hot I would use the roof top air conditioner plus it is so easy to park.

Nice! We bought a Jayco Jaybird 1800 popup about three years ago. Changed our life for sure. I grew up on that coast in the Summer from Biloxi to Navarre Beach. Amazing... we like to take our pop up (Family of 5 by the way) to Ocracoke Island in OBX. I highly suggest it. What campground was this? I think we may have to make the run. Thanks for posting.

My husband and I just bought a used popup camper that was in really good shape. I am a little nervous. My hubby is not handy at all. We will probably take our first trip in October. We live in south Texas so our weather is mild in October.

We were there in Feb. Site 28 if i remember right. I miss my pop up so much. We got a 27 ft with slide outs now. It's ok. I never feel like I'm camping. Feels more like a second home and I hate pulling it around. I drive an 18 wheeler for a living. When I go on vacation I dont want to still feel like I'm at work lol.
Captain Jack - Is this campground "the Hideaway Retreat" in Navarre on the sound? Been through this vid and can't see mention of the campground..... Wife and I are heading down in December from Indiana.
BTW- I'm a vet too - 1st Cav Div 2nd Bn 8th Cav...now I'm an old "tanker". Because of you (and Sam!) we have 2 kayaks. They go on top of a truck rack as we drag around the travel trailer. Livin' the dream! Pappy

Yak, our family has a pop-up too named “Stanley” cuz you can Stan up in him. We have had Stanley for 10 years and we are moving on and upgrading. If someone wants to take on the recommended pop-up life. Our family wants Stanley to go to a good home. If anyone interested in living the pop up life with a Carrier AC we have a Starcraft named Stanley ready to start new adventures for their family.
I do! I do!!!! Well I guess it depends on where you live! Probably too far away from me. But I have been looking to buy a used one for awhile. The right one hasn't came along yet.

We Love camping at Ft Pickens! Gonna try out Navarre. We drive down from Gainesville Ga. You gotta camp at Ichetucknee Springs Campground and float the river. It's beautiful and awesome! We're going later this year. Great video Yak!
