I've got a 2002 Xtreme single cab, step side, short box 4.3 in this color sitting outside my front door. Fun toy for sure. I was in my early twenties when these came out and a buddy at my first duty station had a white extended cab fleet-side Xtreme with staggered KMC Stealth wheels (19s up front, 20s in the rear) that was badass with the exception of that anemic 4-banger! Found mine after my Tahoe was stolen and the GF's car got totaled. We needed something and I found the Xtreme. Not nearly as nice as this one as it had been sitting for a long time, but the 4.3 still spins the tires and it's good outside the TLC it needs finished up. Love that thing. I like the Camaro wheels as a choice. I have some Corvette Sawblades waiting for the summer and the TLC before putting them on.

Thank you! We used the stock radiator and support but the fans are off of a 2000 dodge intrepid, gotta trim the plastic sides of the fans to fit the radiator tho
I was gonna tear down my 4.3 vortec and turn it into a sleeper 4.3 vortec uncle is boring out the cylinders and putting in new sleeves then he’s decking the heads 40,000ths over then going to polish the crankshaft and getting a stage 1 cam with wiseco forged rods and pistons with performance piston rings so sleeper 4.3 is something you don’t see
Not really... Yes the 2.2 is crap , but the 4L60E is actually a really good transmission. When you abuse anything it will tear up. My experiences with 4L60E has all been good.

The 5.3 weighed the front down quite a bit but it’s got a 2” drop in the bakc
