    Wow, i made it up to 19:52! This must be the best exercise I have gotten since doing Karate 20 years ago! Thank you for this. I had always also hoped to find good online Taekwondo kick and punch training as there are not classes near me.

    From a practical perspective, this is the best video on Taekwondo training I have watched. Easy to follow and not time wasted on explanations. It has become my every morning routine and I feel good after the workout. We definitely need more of this kind. Thanks a lot.

    I've been looking for a TKD workout for a long time. This hit the spot! I only made it to about 23 minutes in (about the time you get into the kicking combinations)
    I'll have to do this until I can do it all the way through. Thanks a lot Mr. Gary your video(s) will help me become a better blackbelt :)

    Great workout indeed.But Pad practice or Bag practice is more required.As i have trained at both Karate and Tae Kwan Do , I feels that TKD lacks punching skills which is mainly required if someday to require a street fight.In this video basic punching is shown which is nice

      Hi D. Sano, thanks for your comment. You can train every day he feels like it. The key is not to do too much, 20 minutes of kicking with plenty of variety each day with a bit of stretching every day. Try and set goals especially for the stretching. Good luck and keep kicking.

    I understand this was tiring but you should always go to ten or higher it doesn't seem like much but it increases techniques, skill and over time two extra moves will get you in better shape, no hard feelings, this was half an hour, also do not instantly stop after a draining workout maybe walk around practice your belt kicks, board breaks, your stances and blocks this will slow your heart rate and gracefully transition you into a lower state. Other than that great!

    Why do you do kicks before stretching

    • @garyfostertkd
      @garyfostertkd  ปีที่แล้ว

      It is a well established fact that stretching prior to exercise does not reduce injury but actually detracts from your performance. Warming up is essential, stretching prior to exercise is not. Stretching post exercise is very important however.
