      Most challenging, getting out of my lazy boy recliner and warming up to head into the dojang. Watched Master Donavan's video already. Want to learn cartwheel then one handed CW to incorporate into my Bo Staff Poomsae, someday.

    yaalll!! thank you so much for this!!! i did tae kwon do for Years when i was little and left it. Now im on a weight loss journey and was wondering if there was any tae kwon do inspired workouts!! thank you so much for this, and heres to hoping i still have the muscle memory for it lol

    I'm getting back to TKD after 15 years and reclaiming my black belt all the way from white belt now :( These exercise is really helping to get me back on track. Appreciate it!

    So, soo happy I found this workout! It's been 4 years since I've last done any Taekwon-Do and finding this workout was a real eye opener for me. I have none to 0 stamina left in my body and my technique's gotten so bad& rusty 😭😭😭

    Love this workout, Samery!! I feel pretty exhausted (maybe it's the heat of summer) but satisfied and wanting to try another one right now!! I really need to work on my flexibility, balance and endurance, the slow motion kicking has been a bit of a nightmare to me, haha!! But we will do it!! NEVER GIVE UP!!

    Hi Sam,
    What kind of stretching do you do?
    I am a red belt rookie I do tkd for around 2 and half a year now.
    But I really need some help getting flexible knees because my roundhouse and frontkicks look very choppy and messy overall.
    I always stretch when I get home, but it might need more exercises than the usual same basic stretches.

    I’ve trained in different styles with taekwondo & hapkido being my main disciplines hapkido being number one. Haven’t seen kicking exercises performed quite that way. It was refreshing to watch your drills.

      Definitely see a doctor! You can get advice from people or online, but a doctor will provide you with the best medical advice. You may have to take a break, do physical therapy, get a brace, use tape, etc. Hope it all goes well :)

    Just watched the video love the workout but you need a 10 sec break for breathing. I have not tried it but I will I used to by taekwondo until I messed up my arm but glad that I saw your video going to start the workout I want to get back into. Just asking do have a video of forms with the both of you. I love it when its to people I can learn better that way.

    Hey guys! Looking good, hope all is well and that you had a great Christmas! I have a question/comment/concern. Next month I'll be getting ready to begin sparring. Though it's part of the art, I'm not that much for it. But here's the issue, when we're practicing kicks, etc, I find myself holding back alot, even with all that padding. Reason being is because I'm 6ft 1in, 321 lbs; and SCARED to put too much energy into a kick because I don't want to accidentally hurt anyone or myself. For example, when I was in training for employment back in 2016, we had stations. The very last station was kicks. The guys holding the pad had to put it down after the third kick. I'M NOT SAYING THAT I'M VAN DAMME'S NEPHEW(LOL), but in so many words, an overgrown lamb. But overall I'm enjoying my classes, my Instructors are great, and go above and beyond to help with techniques, explain reasoning, etc. Thanks guys!
