I would love some small bedroom tips. As much as these tips are awesome, we don’t have room to apply many of them.

I'm surprised I was already doing a couple of these things just because I was sick of the bedroom mirror and added an old room area rug over carpet we had in another bedroom, even though I was told not to add an area rug over carpet. Sometimes you just have to do what makes YOU feel good & forget about what other people say. I absolutely love watching your segments. Thank You!
My husband and I have slept using mulberry silk pillowcases for about 5 years now and they are fantastic as any facial serums you use do not transfer onto them, keeping your skincare on your face when you sleep🙂
I have been on the HUNT for some silk pillow cases!
I have cream colored cotton sheers behind my curtains...I love that I can open my curtains to let light in without anyone being able to c in

I like the idea of not having matching furniture and removing the made-for-mirror from the dresser and hanging something more decorative. Beautiful!

Great ideas. I changed my set because some of the pieces were too big. So much happier with my new pieces. My night stand is a vintage sewing table.

I love everything about your videos, especially that you are succinct. Many designers go on and on and need to get to the point, which can be tiresome. Your taste is exquisite, and your ideas are easily achieved.
The photos make it clear that I need more symmetry. I like the wall mirrors on either side of the bed above the night tables and behind the lamps.
Lily silk Lol, I'll stick with Primark or Aldi, homesense, Wilko they do inexpensive luxurious bedding without breaking the bank. I'll be taking the furniture idea I thought it wiser not to much everything in one room.

So great tips , I love the option of black out curtains and sheer but I have have severe migraines and and I need my room dark to help with that, I love the feather pillows makes the bed feel more luxurious

I'm redoing my bedroom after a leak in the kitchen that took out my laminate floor. I was able to add new laminate throughout my entire condo including my primary bedroom. I have chalk painted vintage furniture and a black metal headboard and foot. I am purchasing two painted black MCM bedside tables -the ONLY matching items in my bedroom. I bought a jute like solid rug and look forwards to setting up my new bedroom.
Changing my side table, once I saw this video, my mind when crazy with items I do not enjoy matching anything, let alone large furniture pieces. Thanks much, I grabbed some good ideas from the video.

Thank you, Kristen, for your blessing to ditch my matchy, matchy nightstands. Going to either replace them altogether or paint them a different color. Also, going to lose the attached mirror on my dresser and get a round one. Always such great tips and advice. 💜
Die to our current "energy emergency" you might try a slightly more expensive fabric blind to cover the glass & then a room darkening, draft blocking, curtain that covers as much of the window space as possible. It really warm up the room & cuts down on noise.

My bedsheets are from Bassetti and cost 140€. They are bright and colorful and made in Italy. I would buy them again any time, as I like to have bedsheets that brighten the room.
I love the idea of swapping out a matching mirror with a new and modern alternative. Not only does it give you the freedom to add decor on your dresser, but it also adds some dimension and uniqueness to the room. Great tips!

I have a 'storage' room I want to clean out and turn it into a guest bedroom and these ideas will be great for doing a room from scratch. Unfortunately, they won't work in my bedroom because of its irregular shape and existing furniture, linens, etc. But maybe when I start the other room, moving some of my furniture into that room might help...

This is such a brilliant video. I've watched many but learnt the most I ever have about interior decor from this one.
I love the idea of taking the mirror off the dresser. It will change the look of the bedroom easily.

I thought I knew it all bit this video actually taught me a few things. All the rooms were gorgeous! I've had a big round mirror field 3 weeks now. I'm just trying to move my heavy dresser to remove the old mirror.

Im the worst about making my bed everyday 😅 I use that time to drink my coffee in peace before the kids attack me lol
@@KayleeJump I learned how to initially put the sheets on my bed in a way they stick to my duvet and making my bed has become as simple as pulling the side I slept on. When it's just me, easy peasy.
My problem is when my husband is home he sleeps in later than me and he likes to just hang out in bed under the covers when he reads later in the day, or if he has to so training. Instead of using the throw I have on the bed!!!
I have personally found thst the prettier the bedding. The more excited I get to make my bed XD lol. Like painting my room with non paint

Great tips, I have bought items that will be symmetrical so that’s great. Also, great to know rugs on carpets are ok to use as I wasn’t too sure.

I also have no headboard. I made the wall behind my bed the most beautiful accent color.
I had no headboard for awhile! I just used oversized pillows to act as a headboard.
I bought stick on tiles and created a headboard

IMPECCABLE timing!!! I was just complaining to my daughter that I am so over my bedroom!! Yes I do have the old wooden & wrought iron bed frame, complete with matching side tables and blanket box. We just removed our carpet and put down floor boards which I was looking forward to but now it’s somehow made the furniture stand out even more. I might have to take before and after photos!! Another great video! I dont like matchy matchy furniture. I prefer pieces to coordinate opposed to being a set. I purchased a new bed, linen bench, a throw and bedding and it really makes a difference. Its a nice, clean relaxing retreat and compliments the rest of my home.

My husband would hate me if I put that much stuff on our bed 😂 He frowns at me when I put two throw pillows on there!! Also, we really don't have room for that many blankets, duvets and pillows and I would find it such a hastle putting everything away at night, not to mention making the bed 😅

Ok the mirror to my dresser is soon to be gone, lol. Never thought of this. I loved the look of a large round mirror instead. Also I have a brass bed with footboard. I see it is outdated. Upholstered head board, no footboard coming up.....
One quick question, what are you supposed to do with all those pillows at night? Sorry, I like a few but not as many as shown. Just me I guess.

Have to change my pillows today or tomorrow , will throw away the old one , will just do it one at a time , just within my financial capacity and not go beyond it of course , but will simplify things out , will focus on milky white or other pastel colors ( not printed ones ) and will have my laundry done too so my room will have that sweet / scented smell.
Good Vid. Lots of helpful information. The Mirror removal resonates with me, as well as the rug under the bed. My floors are basically chocolate wood. Do not like carpeting throughout the house.
