I can't tell you how much your channel has helped me. I have ADHD and have struggled my entire life with organization, which as a woman has made me very self-conscious. Your videos have been such a huge help, especially the decluttering one. I've been able to take some of your suggestions, tweak them to what I know works best for me, and my apartment has actually started looking really nice, which has been a massive confidence boost. So I wanted to say a big thank you for all the effort that goes into your videos.
Your not alone, I am the same have never been organized and when I tried before I would get distracted while in the middle of working on it. Watching her videos has really helped me as well that even my husband has noticed the difference. We can both do this and its going to be awesome!!!
I so feel you @Rachel S!!! I've been depressed for 10 years, and now when finally out of it (with a partner and child added to my life) I kind of "woke up" to a WORLD OF MESS!!!! It's insane, and.. .Yeah... Don't know where to begin. Glad you've found help, I hope for the same ^^ GL to you!
I had a horrible fight with my husband this morning. Watching your video for the first time made me laugh and smile 😊 . I fold my bathroom towels like you do, “spa style” and my mother in law commented on how fancy I fold. Made me giddy inside. Thanks for brightening my day. Sub earned!
I like your ideals about the photos but I am taking it further. I am going to use the photos when I am looking for something for my room. I am see something I like and now with the photos I can see how it would look before I buy it
Honestly I think keeping my dining room table clear like she does would make a huge difference not just with a clean appearance, but also to be available as a workspace. When she was showing the folding I realized if I kept the table clear maybe I'd actually save my back and not mind folding laundry so much 🤯
Glad you mentioned folding! It does make such a difference in how your place looks. Also well folded items are less wrinkled when you pull them out to wear them.
Careful with clear spice jars: some/many spices are sensitive to light and can lose nutrients this way! If you want to use clear jars, I think it’s better to store them in a drawer or cabinet that’s mostly shielded from daylight
Also, if you live in a humid area, you might want to opt for plastic lids. I live in the south of the US, and any spice jars I have had that were metal rust fairly quickly.
Enjoyed the tips & tricks; truly, I plan on trying them~ may I suggest folding your bath towel on your table like you did your sweaters instead of your bathroom floor ~ 🤷♀️
Yes...I do/did these: Repackaging products, decluttering, repainted hardware in kitchen, plants, not buying unnecessary small decorations, roll fold towels and clothes. 🌞
Thank you so much for these tips, especially the spa fold for towels in the bathroom. Just wondering why you appear to fold towels and clothing on the floor instead of on a clean, higher flat surface. …
My friend saw her farmhouse signs, "Live, Love, Laugh", "Gather", "Eat", ect. in a photo and immediately took them all down. 😉 So yes, seeing your home in a photo gave her new perspective.
Stopped the video at 11:00 minutes, and just spend an hour folding all my towels. And now i can't stop smiling because my towel drawer looks so neat an nice. Since i only use a few at a time, the next time folding them will get much faster. This just made my day :-D

I use Bath & Body Works Kitchen Lemon hand soap & hand cream in the kitchen so I took an empty one, removed the label & put my Dawn Platinum dish soap in it. Now, it's all matchy matchy and in a dollar tree little basket at the sink. Much better than the Costco-sized container of dish soap that would have been there otherwise! Heather xo
Keeping your counters as clear and clean as much as possible is another tip. I added a paper towel rack to the inside of my kitchen counter door to get them out of the way but yet still be accessible. I also added hooks to the inside of my kitchen cabinet doors to hang potholders, bottle brushes etc. Leaving that stuff on the counter just makes your kitchen look low end and cluttered.
@@BeGoodtoYourselfbyMargo I love this one, too! My spices are all labeled and in matching jars. I have a few extra jars in case I buy something different. We reno'd our kitchen 2 years ago, and I had them build me a spice cabinet with 3 drawers to fit my bottles, which are all labeled on the lids with chalkboard marker labels. It's the most organized I have ever been, and I LOVE it!
Hubby does heating and air and when I tried to cover the thermostat a long time ago he said that’s a big no no because then it can’t function properly. The thermostat needs to sense the temperature in the room and it can’t do that correctly if it’s covered up. So if you want your temperature to stay accurate then you really shouldn’t cover up the thermostat, even if it’s an eye sore. It’s better to just upgrade the thermostat if you can.
One day I tossed my chunky/ oversized cardigans in a nice basket just to clean up really quick and realized they looked like blankets. It looks super cozy and I'm not going to bother hanging them anymore haha.
Great tips! I'm not a minimalist either, however, I am decluttering & simplifying & found Marie Kondo's folding method for clothes amazing for our family. We can see everything in our drawers & it saves so much space!!
The thermostat thing won’t work for most people because it actually has a temperature gauge on it. If you cover it up, it won’t be able to accurately measure the temperature in your house and that could cause a higher bill.
Which I always found odd. My mom's house is a Tudor and has a very high Cathedral Ceiling in the Living Room. So that room was always cold. The thermostat is in the Dining Room where the kitchen door was. So how being so close to the oven was it getting an accurate reading?

Removing the branded wrap around your items can make them look amazing. My face serum had a cheap looking plastic wrap around it, under was a beautiful pearlesent white bottle. Now my vanity looks like I use high end products. I take the wrap off my Clorox wipes too, they look so much nicer.
Hanging a hat on the thermostat is GENIUS!!!! Also, I like the dish soap bottle hack, and I love your sink is just a simple stainless steel sink like mine. Sometimes I feel like everywhere online makes me feel bad for not having some perfect white farmhouse sink. So it's nice to see reality.
You are a very smart lady! I have learned a lot from you and implemented many of your suggestions. I have downloaded the Fetch App. I also think it’s cute the way you call plastic containers “Tupperwares.”
While you're considering putting your cleaners in new nice glass bottles also consider switching to a more eco friendly cleaner 😉 most of the ones in stores are not biodegradable
The reason to leave labels on cleaning supplies is they are poisonous. If you have children or have them visit, consider leaving in OG container and put them in a basket on a shelf in linen closet. Read a couple labels. Its coded by poison control and if you ever suspect a child drank a cleaning agent, grab the bottle and take it with the kid to nearest ER! Some house plants can be successfully kept in just water. This is great if your house is very dry. I have Pothos, Snake plant, and anthurium (that lost it's red flower while in soil, but I'm keeping it alive in water).
The editing of this video is amazing!
