Don't tell Losi that. They have been pricing themselves out of the market. We use to sell a shit load of Losi's at our store, Specially the Aftershock at Less than $350 out the door. But they dropped that and so many others that were great value for the money.
@Martin Whitney 100% sir! WLtoys rc (most if not all, atleast all that I like😁) are the best affortable out there, parts availability, upgrades🤘🏻 Higher end rc brakes too as fast, easy , depending on how we bashed them😂
@@R-EVLMNKY But the differentials on these things DO break. Have two 144001:s and the more used one has already broken two within the first ten drive-sessions. First the rear one, which I replaced with the functional front-diff. So I made it fully RWD and it was totally uncontrollable under full (and less) power, but was kinda fun. Of course the latter one also broke... Already ordered the spare (upgraded) parts from China and I hope these perform better (not high hopes). Not yet received. Other than that, very nice RC:s especially for the price.
This is a very good video for those thinking of buying one. I ordered one yesterday and am anxious to get it next week. Thanks for showing what it can tolerate and how well it drives. TH-cam is a great source and so I will be sure to grease the diffs before I run it.
Waiting for you to try a Traxxas Titan 550 12T brushes motor. Will it fit??? Is it faster than stock??? Is it worth if someone doesn’t know how to convert to brushless???
If you had to pick this or the Losi Mini T 2.0 for casual bashing/sending off ramps with no intent of upgrading parts (unless they break of course) which would you choose?
Best stock rc for the price. What battery were you running? Did i miss you saying what it was? I've seen this go allot faster have you tried any larger volt battery? Thanks 👍
Nice video Tony! It's a BEAST for sure! A short course version truck is about to drop as well! Another must have! Actually a SCT WLTOYS rebranded for SST is already out right now (144002).
I think I saw that one on facebook, but couldn't tell if it was the same length chassis or like how Tacon has short for the buggy/mt and long for the sct/rally/truggy
I enjoyed watching your video, it really looks like it's worth those 80 dollars, I bought one for the winter, I also think I'm going to have a lot of fun 👍👌😉
Late to the party here but in a way its a good thing. I am wondering about how this RC holds up? I'm thinking of getting one for my son for Christmas but I'd like to know if it's going to last more then a few runs. Some comments I've read is that it doesn't have good longevity and breaks fairly quickly. Is this true? How have you guys found this car durability wise? Thanks everyone for their time and honesty. Happy RC'ing!
What ramps were you using when you're in the front of your house? And are they the same as the ones on top of the landwave ramps you have in the backyard? Thanks in advance, trying to find some good ramps to pick up.
Great vid mate, think I will get a couple of these for my kids to play around with at the track while I'm cutting some laps, what size wheel hex are they?
If we bought the car last week, we have to wait 3-4 weeks until it arrives from China to Austria. Really great video I'm looking forward to the car. and a ein imhab I left there. greetings from Austria 🇦🇹
Great look at this rig man. I love my WL Toys A232 SC Truck. I'm not surprised this thing kicks ass. My rig is still holding up nicely, hopefully this one will too. -"Angry" Dave
You should open the diffs and regrease everyhhing tehre is almost nothing inside there even in the spider gears the diff is super loose. Put a few drops of 105-10k diff fluid dont fill it or its going to leak maybe just a bit to lube the gears and stop the spin outs.
Well T I new I would like your Bashing Video, Fantastic Jumping mate, I can't wait to have a Proper Go off mine 🤗 this Buggy is Amazing, Fantastic video Tony, I really enjoyed every minute 👍😁👍
@@CCxRC Ah I see! I understand. Makes sense. I got a Mojave coming in tomorrow and a I'm off of work till after new years, I finally have some time to rc! Also gonna paint up a couple bodies that have been sitting for 3 months lol.
@@PERTHWESTOZRC I did a 3s run and clocked 44mph. After the run I tried to run the whole 3s 2200mah pack and after 10 or so mins the servo started acting up and stopped working. Then I let it rest and went to 2s and thankfully everything worked. But my buddy has one and he plugged a 3s in it and instant smoke. That's why I can't in good conscience tell people to do it.
Luck of the draw mate, same goes with the a959b series, some smoke and fry, some don't and last ages. I add cooling fans on mine to keep the ESC/RX combo cooler..never had any issues... They last a very long time. Plus if they do eventually fry they are dirt cheap to replace, only a couple bucks..so the enjoyment out of running 3s is worth it IMO 😁 I don't tell people to do it or recommend it in my videos either, but each to their own 👍
I definitely would like to hear your thoughts and comparison between this and the TA reflex. I like the looks of the reflex alot more but would love to see which one drives better and is more durable. 👌👊🍻
This is almost a clone of the lc racing 1:14th scale rc buggy entirely. Though a bit softer aluminium shock towers along with solid gear rather then a slipper you can adjust in this. Someone got this buggy on 4s & brushless 540 motor too 90 mph btw, it's crazy.(ofc he does a soft start on it otherwise the spur gear would be shredded within like 2 minutes id say of hard launches.) Battery it comes with out of the box is a bit tiny for a 540 motor I'd say, but seen people run a 2s 2200 - 2600 mah fine in it after moving the battery mount & using a longer strap for the battery then it comes with out of the box so thats a fairly easy fix. There is also no pinion adjustment possible on the stock motor mount but there is one available for it as an upgrade, or you can just drill new holes in the stock motor mount, (not sure if i saw that it was plastic or aluminium.) There seems too be a few upgrade parts available though. didnt find any on banggood searching here but this site has them.www.wltoysrc.com/139-wltoys-144001-upgrade-parts
This shows we don't have to spend big bucks to have fun with a rc.
Exactly Martin 👍
That is true you can have fun with any cheap rc if its from wltoys. 👍👍

Nice water proof test , add more grease to the diffs, runs much better 👍🏻
There have been a couple of people who put the stock motor and esc on 3s! And it's speed got up to 70kmph or 40mph!
yeah man..i use 3s lipo with my stock esc and motor..80kmh top speed.

@@MrMad2424 any more info on the short course truck or the 144002? I couldn't find anything on them or where to buy
Only one out at this moment is the SST (super stadium trucks) that is a rebranded WLTOYS. I heard in quarter 2 it should be available from WL.
Looks like a lot of fun to drive Tony

Great the wheels didn't break off like I have seen in other youtube vids!
Not break off, just come off because of loose screws.
does the bottom button for the throttle trim on the remote turn the motor down or the top bottom ?

Hey the diff on mine is slipping. Will putting a bunch of grease in it help?
Adding grease is good but probably you need to add one or two shims or small metal washers in the diff. to make the gears mesh better.
These have went right to the top of my wanted list ! Great demo of it here, thanks. Such a great buggy for the price !
I have one on the way should be here for xmas

What a Surprise....that is a Winner! 👍🙂
total surprise for me as well.
Are you using the stock battery?
Yes. I do these tests completely stock. No adjustments
How does the mode button work? Kine doesnt go that fast?
Tony, you got to check out the all metal Feiyue M100C version 1/2 4wd. at Bangood.
Hey Tony, you haven't been running your 8s Kraton much ey? Haven't seen it in a few weeks. You gonna run it some more?

Do you think we can put bigger tires ?
Why? The stock ones are just fine. Bigger tires will put more stress on the electronics and also on diffs.
