I have a question--I have 2 yds of some linen (45 in wide) and wondering if you think I might be able to get these out of that much fabric! I'd prob make a size 10 or 12. Thank you!

    Hi! Love your channel and find it amazing inspiration for those times I can’t squeeze in some sewing but need a fix. I am still very much a beginner and getting all my kit and caboodle together. This may be an odd question but what are those small scissors you are using?
    I find my big ones too much for small jobs but can’t find some sharp nice ones which are not based on thread cutting and I can dedicate to just fabrics for those little snips.

    Is a top stitch the same thing as a straight stitch? I don't have an overstitch. Could you make a sewalong using only a sewing machine?

    • @Jessalli
      @Jessalli  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes top stitch is just a straight stitch sewn with the garment right side up. You can use a zig zag stitch instead of the overlocker. x
