Totally loved hearing your husband’s spontaneous, unsolicited comment about your pants! It is so affirming when you are encouraged after spending the time to create something new. Bravo!
Thank you for this video. I’ve been sewing for MANY years but I find that I really just want easy to make and casual to wear projects these days. I’ve heard a lot of hype on this pattern so I purchased some Robert Kaufman Yarn Dyed Essex to make a pair. But before I cut into the fabric I just wanted to see some more on these pants. The super simple construction of them scares me with getting a nice fit but you’ve convinced me. They look really cute on you. Thanks for sharing. ❤
You are lovely and I am so excited that you have some sewing videos on the pipeline! I like your videos and that you are so calm and positive. You did a great job on the pants!🙂
I absolutely love the outfit that you made. it is just my style, I love linen and tapered trousers in linen and the light colours. I love your videos and I'm excited for the next ones, thanks. Sarah.
Right when I bought fabric to make the tapered version!! Great timing! Thank you for the cool videos I am enjoying the sewing content as a beginner learning on TH-cam
One tip that I learned about cutting mats is that auto body stores like princess auto sell, self healing, cutting mats at a way cheaper cost! Hope that helps
I'm glad I found your videos and subscribed. I'm enjoying them. Shocking that denim costs $29 per yard. Yikes. I bought a pattern to be printed (for the first time),, and accidentally printed it 2-sided, (!) so have to go back and reprint every other page. Discouraging. Haven't done it yet. I'm new to sewing clothes and always looking for encouragement. I haven't been brave enough to order fabric online.
Fabric can be so expensive, but $29 a yard is the most I’ve spent on fabric, usually it’s half that. it’s frustrating that making your own clothes is often more expensive than running to target but I still feel like it’s worth it. I found out that there is a wholesale fabric store in my area so I think that would be the most affordable. Go slow and enjoy the process
When I was first starting I bought fabric exclusively at the thrift store. Bed sheets give sooo much yardage. Duvet covers. Tablecloths. Curtains. I’ve made clothes out of. It can be very cheap if you want it to be!
Enjoyed your relaxing sew a long. You are fortunate to understand work/life balance while still young. Sew on!

Lovely tutorial. I have had my eye on this pattern for a while.

Why have I never thought to use books as pattern weights!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching : )
So pretty and look comfy too ! I’m going to give this pattern a try. TY for the links and for sharing your experience. 👍

Oh amazing tip! Will look into that… thank you!
I like the tapered pant leg! I’ve only made the Pomona pants wide leg and shorts version. I may have to try the tapered one now.
The pants look great on you! Good pattern choice for novice sewers.
Thank you! 😊
These videos are so calming :)
I crave calm 😂 glad you like it
They look great.
Love your pants, I’ve only made the bagger version which are also great. I think I’ll try your option.
i've made all 3 views, super easy sew and easy to wear.
I loved!!! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much!
So cute ! Nice work
Thank you! 😊
Great job! Love these.
The stitch length for denim really only needs to be larger for topstitching. Maybe at 3 or 4 instead of 2.5
Oh thanks for the info!
Lovely job 😊
Thank you! 😊
Great Job

That’s such a good idea!!
Love your linen pants. What's the color of the fabric?
Hi! Thank you! It’s Bull Cotton Denim in the color Natural.
The guy with the barefoot comments needs to go
Yeah I’m not really sure what that is about
Difficult to hear with loud background music
Still figuring out editing, thanks for the feedback!
I would have loved to have been able to watch your video but the music was so annoying and intrusive that it was impossible.
Sorry about that, noted for next time : )
