I can also confirm it comes with pre-applied thermal paste, just got it last week... It was actually dried up or something and caused issues with my system i7 14700k (system reaching 99C in 20 seconds). I ended up reapplying new thermal paste and all was good. Now idle at 43 C

I’m a thermal paste/compound spreader as well but I use the edge of a cut-down old plastic credit card to ensure a thin even layer. Your technique is certainly unique. I made a mistake when I bought a CoolerMaster MasterLiquid ML280 Mirror ($49.99 NewEgg) because it arrived with a clearly defective (very noisy) fan but it was installed in a new build at Xmas for my son so I couldn’t just pull it out. CoolerMaster, with prodding from NewEgg, eventually sent an upgraded set of fans (with RGB this time) but it took months. Now it sounds like the death rattle of a failing hard drive. One very noisy AIO, which is why I’m here doing research. I inherited his old white Fractal Design Meshify case with his old Corsair Hydro H100i RGB Platinum SE 240mm dual LL120 but soon tired of the RGB failing on those LL120’s and the 90 c (when gaming w/i9-10900k) temps and accumulating dust of the case so I thought $115 for a white Lian Li Lancool 216 RGB was a good value since it came with 2 front 160mm PWM ARGB fans and 1 rear 140mm PWM non-RGB fan. Well my investment grew as I started looking for RGB fans to match those ring-type front intake fans but the closest match I could find was from CoolerMaster. (Ironically) I selected their MasterFan MF140 Halo ($29.99) to replace the non-RGB exhaust fan) and a 3 pk of MF120 Halo’s ($61.68) to replace the always failing Corsair LL120’s in the AIO. I just got tired of spending $100 for a 3pk kit of Corsair LL120’s shortly after the warranty ended. Come to think of it, since I bought the last kit on May 7th 2021 from BestBuy, they’re still under the 2 year warranty so I’ll make a claim. (help.corsair.com/hc/en-us) Those Halo’s look great! The RGB lighting is bright and visible from both the intake and the exhaust sides as well as laterally. Plus they’re actually quiet. About the only negative I can see is the center sticker makes it appear wobbly on a couple of ‘em but I believe that’s typical for fans. One concern, the title said “suitable for cold row radiators” whatever that is. I installed the fans to push the heat upwards (exhaust) so the heat doesn’t go toward the fans. A smoking incense stick proved the 2 front intake fans are providing excellent positive pressure, even though I opted for the magnetic dust filter for the front, which was almost another $20 to the door. I wish I knew of a way to post a photo of my setup with those fans. The Z490 Godlike and RTX 2080 Ti may be getting old, but the fresh case makes it look great.

@@bmdshred77They’re not that common. Lol. Almost every PC in our house runs an AIO and all of the AIOs are several years old. With the one in my battlestation being the youngest unit.
What bothers me about all these tests is that there's no consistency between different reviewers when it comes to the rankings/results. Some coolers will top the charts on some sites but will be way down the list on others, even though similar testing-methods are applied. For example: Most sites I've checked have nothing but high praise for the EKWB Nucleus, while others (Igorslab being one of them) state that its cooling performance is only "good", but not class-leading. In sheer cooling performance, they don't rank at the top of any of the AIO-charts I've seen (ignoring the 420mm version), but their light-design and waterblocks look spectacularly good. More importantly, they do such a nice job of hiding away all those cables and will probably allow for a very clean installation. If they didn't cost an arm and a leg (totally overpriced, IMO), I would swallow the fact that there are better cooling products out there and go for Corsair. I'm on the verge of upgrading from a 240 to a 360 and I already dread the cable-management I'll have to do for that. No idea what cooler I'll be going with - ATM I'm kinda undecided between the newer Lian Li Galahads (although they're near impossible to find ATM due to a recall IIRC) and the EKWB. If I look at any more pics or vids of those Corsair ones, I might find myself spending over 200 for an AiO, so I'm trying to avoid that. I was also looking at the DeepCool ones, but from what I gather they are rather noisy - and I don't like the fact that the LT doesn't have RGB-fans. Wild card is probably the Fractal Lumen S36 which seems rather affordable considering that it beat a lot of the more expensive (and more recent) stuff in one HW-site's testing.

You can easily adapt this to work with icue so the price difference of Corsair doesn’t hold up. I tie all my non corsair rgb into icue for a few reasons, 1. Asus software sucks and third party software requires too much effort than I’m willing to put in for rgb. 2. So it all matches duh!!! 3. So I only have one software for all rgb instead of two or three. No granted I haven’t put more than 5 mins into looking into 3rd party such as signal rgb and the like, but it did seem a heck of a lot less intuitive than icue. Since most of my rgb stuff is Corsair I just find it easier to adapt my outliers. Now my $300 h150i lcd elite xt took a crap after 6 months so I’m a little fed up. Plus I’m getting sick of all the ungodly amounts of wired needed with Corsair stuff. I bought a thermalright pa120 argb, and thermalright frost commander 140 and it’s so refreshing. The simplicity and reliability of big air can’t be beat. And only two cables. Man oh man. I’ve been in AIOs and custom loops the last 10 years so I miss air in some ways. I did however just buy this deepcool ls720 in white bc it’s on sale for $110 and I can’t pass that up. I think it’s better than the Corsair just for the simple fact that it’s about 1/3 the amount of cables and hubs. I’ll sell my replacement h150i elite lcd xt once I RMA it. Biggest waste of $300.
Getting CPU fan speed error. There’s nothing wrong with the motherboard. I plug in an external fan directly into the CPU header it works. The motherboard shows the fan spinning. The only difference here is like I’m using a lian li fan with the Deep cool aio …Any idea what’s going on?
If your fans are working fine then just disable the warning in BIOS. I have mine disabled as I dont keep any fans connected to my motherboard at all. I use icue for all my fans and rgb and that includes non Corsair stuff. The fan curve software is way better than and more robust than any bios options, plus no need to reboot into bios anytime you want to make changes. So if your fans are working then just disable it. It’s obviously erroneous if they are working just fine.
@@stefan_es The Arctic Liquid Freezer II 420's a great AIO, no question about it. Does it perform any better than the LS720? Not really, just a lot quieter, I have one and it stays real quiet under load. Shouldn't put anyone off the LS720 though, if you like the way it looks, go for it, it's a great AIO.
hello ! can i use this DeepCool LS720 for my pc ? ( Intel i7-8700K CPU 3.70GHz 3.70 GHz with MSI Z390 A pro motherboard ) i want to upgrade it a bit. Some say Corsair H115i Pro is better suited for my config but it cost more...i need an advice please. i will swap to corsair500D case so it should fit
You don’t need a 360 for that cpu. Get the 240 mm version. It’s the ls520 I believe they call it. Save money and you don’t have to worry about upgrading cases and if you ever change cases in the future it’ll be guaranteed to fit. You can keep an 8700k cool by blowing on it! That cpu is nothing compared to current chips. And if air and 240mm can cool them just fine there is no need to go 360 and waste extra money and then have to buy a new case.
Honestly just spend $40 and buy a peerless assassin 120 and call it a day. It can cool my ryzen 9 7900x it’ll work wonders for your cpu. Whatever you do don’t buy the new Corsair lcd xt elite. I paid $300 for the 360 and it gave me nothing but trouble and died after 5 months. My other Corsair aio has been going strong since 2019 (h100i pro or platinum- can’t recall). I just picked up this ls720 bc it was only $110. I also picked up a peerless assassin white argb and frost commander 140. I’m going to sell the Corsair once I get a replacement. Plus too many cables and hubs required. I’m kinda tired of dealing with cable managing all that Corsair stuff. I have a lot of rgb. It quickly ruins the joys of building. Corsair requires tons of cables and hubs vs other manufacturers rgb solutions

Biggest waste of $300.
guys help me
can i buy lt720 for 14700kf ?! its works ?
I would go for the Arctic Liquid Freezer II instead, I think.
arctic will be much better than this AIO? And now I choose what to put. LS720 or LFii420

You could always front mount a 360mm rad. That is what I did in my 4000x
Bought one for $99
My LS720 can’t handle my i7 13700k
por qué no?
Good system but the fans suck!!!!!
bland. lost interest less than one minute in. Buy my book to see how it get done
That’s fine still one of the highest retention videos I have released. The material isn’t meant for you apparently.
@@robeytech Bro is a troll, vid was exactly what I needed.
Hey. Our lab has a 13700k with z7900-p wifi and Ls720 inside a Deepcool case. I tested the CPU with XTU, and the CPU reaches 100 C immediately after starting the benchmark, and it takes only 100~120 watts. Should I reapply the thermal paste? Also, I undervolted the CPU by -150 mV for P and -100 mV for E cores, but the temperature remained the same.
Could you help me, please?!
Pudiste solucionarlo? Yo tengo pensado en comprar este LS720 para mi 13700k también
@@milloriver90 Yeah, the idiot assembler made a huge mistake and did not take off the heat sink robber from its surface!
