We love Ready Set Bet! It works so well for a wide age-range, and for people with varying levels of game experience, and preferences.
    Examples:
My 5 year-old can play the game and has won many times. He knows the first, place, and show columns and doesn’t bet much beyond them. We have to count his money, but the exciting action of the game he takes part in on his own.
You can easily ramp up the game for beginners. Maybe don’t use Prop bets on the first or second round, or don’t use Exotic Finishes until people understand the base bets printed on the board.
Lastly, I have a high level of anxiety with these kinds of games where you are racing to place your best bet before others. So I play as the House, getting to place my bets before the race, and then animatedly announcing the race.

I like that you can level up the game for different types of players!

We played this once at my game club with the app. It was a great time, especially with the app because it keeps moving along at a steady pace which really contributes to the urgency. Another thing to mention are the cards that add different betting conditions which contributes to a variety of options for where to place your bets at the start. Once the race starts and the bets start hitting the table though, soon you'll be left wondering what remaining options are good based on where the horses are.

My favorite party game to break out. I love that the app has both John D Clair and a professional horse race announcer as voice options in addition tothe random races.

I'm going to have to try this. I've played Camel Up with multiple groups and loved it, this one seems crazier. I also like that one person can "run" the game without playing, good option around a more casual crowd.
Only thing is that I may play without the prop bets among the casual group, and play the full thing amongst my more gamer friends.
