Nothing like a road trip to the coast to gaze at those amazing views.

When we did our Syd to Perth trip, there were no DC fast chargers in Esperance, or Norseman, so had to rely on caravan parks and motel destination chargers, good to see the infrastructure rolling out quite fast now.

Yeah it's come on in leaps and bounds in the last year!

    Enjoyed the video.
I have an EV in Brisbane.
It looks like the charging infrastructure in WA is better than in either Queensland or NSW. I have only found 1 public charger in either NSW or Queensland with shelter from the sun or rain.
It also looked like with the WA you could use a credit card to charge which I have not seen in Queensland or NSW.

The infrastructure has moved surprising fast in W.A. ! However I'm surprised there seems to be no shade in the Eastern States as well, you'd think that would be a no-brainer when building these! I guess it all adds to the cost though. The Credit card thing was brought in I think because of the patchy mobile network, particularly in rural and remote areas of northern Western Australia. It's a great idea if the mobile network goes down and you don't have an RFID card. So far ( fingers crossed ) I haven't had an issue using the app in W.A. Most of the stations also haven't had any issues so far, with just a couple going offline periodically, so there's still a few teething issues. But it's amazing how far it's come in just 1 year
