Thank you. We really hope to be helpful for other expats and future expats. By the way I am still planning on a video interview with some of you from Pana. I will contact you in the near future to set something up. Would love your input
I really don’t know if that has anything to do with the tax system here. Everything is recorded and written up and you give your tax ID for your receipt. So I don’t think that is the reason in this case. The tax system is different than in the states.
I think we have the same dog, a poochon, right?. I still got 11 more years to retire, but I already started looking for places for when the time comes. I'm thinking around Antigua. Saludos from NJ
She is some kind of poodle/terrier mix. We think Jack Russell Terrier. But she is our baby. LOL. The Antigua area is lovely and has a really big expat community. We enjoy our visits there. Hoping to do a video in the near future.
@@mickquinn4781 it is called Siempre Salud. We actually purchased it through the BI bank. But it is a policy through La Paz hospitals. We can only go to La Paz hospital, doctors or La Paz hospitals and utilize this insurance. That works for us because that’s our preferred private hospital here in Xela. Also, they have a number of locations in Guatemala City.
If I buy them here in Guatemala they are $35 each and I normally use one a month. I get them at no cost in the USA as my insurance covers them but I have to get them down here and I use special containers to keep them cold. I use Lantus Solostar pens
I was surprised to find health care so affordable and relatively decent here! Great video!
