The fact that we’ve come to accept and expect “tremendous hypocrisy” from our politicians is the biggest clue that something is fundamentally wrong with the system we live in.
Cornell pushing back over the acceptance of political hypocrisy is the most valuable takeaway.
Biden achieved increasing black dependency on government and appointed unqualified blacks who fail at their jobs.
Calling Trump a fascist, and then calling the actual fascist, milk toast is the very definition of hypocrisy.

Ya idk, I’d agree that there both parties and the system is swamping but I think the GOP swamp that was too scared to disagree with trumps coup and his soliciting of election fraud is abit more dangerous at the moment. However, there is necessary change all around. I think we need open primaries and ranked choice voting to break the grip of the two parties.
The largest voting block in America is those who consider themselves Independent, at about 40% of the population. The next highest voting block is those who don't vote. Seems like MOST Americans are actually quite aware of the stench of the Two Party Duopoly and the political hypocrisy clown show. They don't want to serve those rich, fake, billionaire serving, unethical psychopaths who fill Congress and the White House.
No, real people want real change. We don't have to settle for crap anymore. Cornell is a man of great integrity. Respect.

The one that conveniently cut out everything he (Rogan) prefaced using that word with, essentially talking about the power of that word. Yeah, it was a mistake to use it, because as a white person there’s really not an acceptable “context” where it needs to be said. But I do think it’s all about intent, and that absolutely none of it was malicious on part of Rogan... Along with all that, there’s the fact that it’s now fashionable to hate on the guy, especially among liberals (hence why I do believe is virtue signaling). Yeah I probably should not speak for other people. But I think it’s safe to say that is why he “will not watch”.

Up until near the end Cornel was OK, but near the end I think he was spewing nonsense, made up catch phrases. Pragmatism literally means if something works, it’s true. So if you’re trying to create opportunities and it works, by definition it’s pragmatic. I think Obama was the most pragmatic president in my lifetime and I long for a return to the days when our politicians made decisions based on how well something works, like the ban on assault weapons which dramatically decreased the number of mass murders in this country.
"We're living in the real world -- nobody gets everything -- he's a politician" is a pretty handy non-response to any critique Dr. West could have offered, wouldn't you say?
Dr. West offered up a lengthy list of foreign policy issues he thinks deserve greater attention. I concur on these. However it would be a misappropriation of Bidens times to focus the amount of time necessary to deal with all those countries. The issues that are paramount on the minds of the citizens at this point are what require intense focus for the interim.
Saying "He's a politician" isn't a good excuse... that's the status quo position.

Yes. This is why it's so important for us to implement Public Election Funds nationwide. They allow candidates to fund their campaigns without having to take money from wealthy special interests and bend to their will. If you make the funds only available to those who swear off taking donations from anyone other than who they'll be representing, then that makes them extra effective against corruption. Also, if you make it so the funds simply multiply the donations candidates receive, then candidates still have to get donations from their constituents and therefore be forced to get involved in their community and learn exactly what everyday people need.
I highly recommend helping out grassroots efforts that are trying to implement Public Election Funds, because there are plenty across the country and they're making progress. My state has recently implemented it across a couple counties, and candidates are using them and winning.

The problem is that you only have two political parties - time for the parties to be ripped apart & have multiple parties to give people actual choice as well as force politicians to actually work together. The you need to have one house & no electoral college
We can create another choice for ourselves. That's why I'm getting involved with the Forward movement if for no other reason that ranked-choice voting so that we can vote for whomever we want without throwing our vote away. I am so tired of having to continually vote for the lessor of two evils.

seeing these brain-dead takes has given me more reason to believe that people that support Bill with his own hypocrisy are udderless stupid and are not to be taken serious
Two things that stood out to me about this interview:
1) I find it strange to say the least that Bill was defending political hypocrisy here but later in his show went on to condemn Hollywood for their alleged hypocrisy.
2) Biden feeling like he has to meet with Saudi Arabia because they have oil is precisely why we need to really incentivize renewable energy in this country.
Bingo we need to ask more of our Democratic party and call out the blood suckers. Some would like the status quo to remain and suppress progressives. And Bill is one of them.
On #2 it’s not the only reasons there are plenty. The whole world (except 3rd world countries) is moving towards renewable energy. America will be left behind if we continue dragging our heals.
It would create jobs and bring the cost of energy down for Americans.
Also it would have a dramatic benefit to the planet we all live on.

I really enjoyed Dr West. He has it right. Average folks, like me, just don’t feel like we have a good choice to make with the guys at the top.
Well, under the pervious administration, we had the best economy since before 9/11, no new foreign conflicts for the first time in many years, strong border security, among other goodies. Now, we have the exact opposite of all those things and record high inflation, forced ineffectual vaccinations, and gender ideology in our military. I can tell you, very easily which one I'd choose.

There are major diffs. For example, every time a gop gets elected potus, Wall St gets a massive tax cut. That doesn't happen under dems. But him earmarking 54 billion for the arms dealing thugs that control our military brings him back to a hard pass for me. With our geopolitical clout, we could of brought both sides together to forge a peace deal. Instead, we do what we always do. If we don't invade a country with our military, our weapons will be the ones that kill 10s of thousands.

Bill Mahr seems not to understand a simple concept called "Negotiation" where you are supposed to ask for more than you know you can get if not more than you actually want and use leverage to try to get it, that way you actually get something big. You are supposed at least try to get more out of the deal than the other side, which very much isn't how Biden is doing things.
We had the capitol assault and blm protests and nothing was achieved can you imagine having 2 of the biggest events whatever your opinion on them and nothing was done to change the system
