Wahaj Ali's portrayal in Tere Bin is outstanding, particularly due to his ability to project emotions through his eyes, conveying pain, love, understanding, and care. The chemistry between he and Yummna Zaidi is also exceptional and it is difficult to imagine any other actor bringing quite the same caliber to the role.-Nilima Shah

I want to add something more about scriptwriting -Although there is clearly a lot of effort in the writing, the overall result is a bit weak. The plot is a bit hard to believe; it's almost as if it was thrown together without much thought. The details and logistics do not quite make sense either. however, we're all here for Wahaj Ali and N Yummna's good chemistry..-Nilima Shah
I think it's not just Wajah carrying the drama on his shoulders. Yumna is an equal match in acting skills. She is one of the finest actresses of the industry and I think it's the combination of these two that makes this drama so fabulous.

I want to give a huge shoutout to Yumna and Wahaj for giving us Tere Bin. A show that lets you escape from your worries and lets you immerse in another world. Yumhaj has delivered a spellbinding performance with blazing-hot chemistry that sends your pulse racing. I have never seen two actors with such insane, intense, chemistry. The fairytale setting, emotions, romance, and humor have surely succeeded in stirring the emotions of the audience. A feel-good show that temporarily allows you to forget your worries while connecting you with two frictional, attractive, sensual characters of Meerasim.
Merub follows a pattern.. She will trust any random Tom Dick Harry more than Murtu.. N also just because Murtu was sitting with a lady in her house she goes "hamare rishte ki koi gunjaish nahi bachti"... N herself was at her proclaimed lover's house alone listening to him badmouthing Murtu and she was ok with that... This bandi😢 I only logical thing she has done is to stop Maryam from eloping with Malik Zuabir

Meerub is the most absurd female character everrrr! Pls someone ask Nooran Makhdoom that what the hell was going on in her mind when she was writing Meerub’s character?? If we see the other way round, Meerab directly or indirectly has restricted Mariam from eloping. If not for Meerab, Mariam have had eloped with A as a long back. And still we are not sure if Meerab actually helps her eloping or not. Mariam is hell bent on eloping doesn't matter Meerab supports her or not.
If meerab was a little sensible, she would make sure to arrange an anas-murtasim meet up even if it is by dodging anas. If still the meet up couldn't happen she should have understood that something is fishy about anas and she should have first tried to put some sense in naryam and if she failed in that, then she should have told murtasim that if he didn't agree maryam would run away, she even was running away once.

That "jahez mei layi thin" by murtasim was epic😂 I literally started laughing when he said it. That whole sequence between meerub and murtasim was really good.

Okay so I love Tere bin ,firstly because of murtasim because when have we seen such a supportive husband on Television.He loves Meerab so much,forgives her every single time yet he isn't spineless or a doormat,he doesn't let her walk all over him,he knows how to keep her in check but at the same time he's so so patient with her like after all his efforts he doesn't expect Meerab to reciprocate ,contrary to that he understands her situation and actaully empathises with her (when he told his family that Meerab was brought here against her well,now atleast let her live here the way she wants to).He isnt egoistic like the way he handled the rejection despite being her husband wheres in shows usually random men feel entitled to the Girl's love just because they like her Also there are so many shows with forced marriage where the wife wins the husband's heart by her tireless efforts and patience but for once its the husband who's giving the wife time ,making the efforts ,protecting her and standing up for her and he's actually willing to make the relationship work.Yes he isn't perfect ,he does have anger issues and he doesn't like to explain himself a lot but that makes sense because he has never been answerable to anyone ,before meerab he didn't have to explain stuff to anyone and yes good people ,too can have flaws ie His anger in Murtasim's case.Like he's protective ,caring, respectful,forgiving and what not,so he can have a few flaws as well.After all he's A human not an angel

Well explained. The audience always complains that the writer is biased towards Murtasim. I never think that. Both Meeab and Murtasim are flawed characters. But Murtasim has less flaws in comparison to Meerab. Thats it. Murtasim had to take a lot of responsibilities at a very young age. On the other hand Meerab was always a pampered child. That's why Murtasim more mature than her.

Contrary to popular opinion, I actually liked these four episodes. I thought that they were much better than the episodes that were aired during Ramadan & before Eid, mainly because there were many scenes of Meerasim.

I am not relating myself to any characters in the drama but I can really understand Meerab's emotions because at some point in my life I had the similar emotions about my parents' decision but over the time I realized my mistake and changed myself and thoughts. I am writhing this because I want people to know that this story is not about appreciating a rude woman but about the lessons learned in the life from your mistakes. Meerab is not a perfect woman. She is just a human being who is learning from her mistakes.
Infact meerub has got many chances to learn a lesson but she doesn't. She is stuck in same state of mind, not progressing, Murtasim has changed but she hasn't. A normal woman can feel how us she so dump cant sense what Murtasim has done for her. Every time she is proven wrong. Infact writer has intentionally degraded Meerub, she doesn't want to potray a strong female lead, just shown a dump and foolish girl.

There were so many beautiful things in these last episodes to discuss. Their fights, love, possesiveness, care, understanding and so much more and you guys didn't pay attention to any of it🙄. Wahaj and yumna's performance was top notch. Their talk through their eyes and understanding eo without saying anything, their expressive body language and Murtasim's confidence that his wife is falling for him,Meerub's denial and confusion that she can't fall in love with him, their unbeatable performance,cute domestic scenes??Nothing to say? 🙄. Nd hassan Murtasim is an alpha male who is down for his women and trying to make her happy and comfortable in his own world. Now she is slowly getting used to it.Alpha males are humans too. No?
Wahaj and yumna are really the best actors out there. WAHAJ really surpises me with his acting. It never seems like HE IS ACTING it looks so natural and with the flow that you cannot do anything but praise him❤. He is unreal man❤❤

I really enjoyed these 4 episodes of #TereBin. They were really entertaining due to Wahaj & Yumna scenes and unpopular opinion - I’m loving the Mariam track because it is directly related to Murtasim. I cant wait to see what will happen when Anas’ true identity will be revealed. I am fully hooked on Tere Bin still and I actually want to give a lot of credit to the writer where due for a lot of good things in the drama. Without a doubt there are flaws in the writing but so much to appreciate too. I mean, its the only drama I’m fully enjoying on TV right now!
Agreed…the mariam track is necessary…every story has a villain, and Anas/Zubair is the villain here…the whole plot is pretty intriguing because it’s highly unpredictable…don’t get the constant complaints about the terrible writing…the writing is pretty decent…

They forget all the romantic moments & scenes that Wahaj & Yumna have portrayed via their chemistry have been written by the writer!! The plot is compelling and I like it. There are so many un-toxic & uncommon characters (like mother in law, nand & husband) which have been portrayed really well - credit goes to the writer for creating them & actors for performing them so well!

Maryam/Meerub/Anais situation is absurd and unbearable. They don’t know his last name/address/family, don’t have his picture, don’t know where he works, and won’t meet Murtism. Maryam is still adamant about marrying him.
Meerub is special and Murtasim falling for her is quite understandable. So please don’t say how murtasim can fall for her
Murtasim may have felt attracted to Meerub when he first confronted her in the earlier episodes, as she was not like the submissive girls like his sister and Haya, ,she was outspoken and seemed brave righteous, and in pursuit for truth and justice, so he found her interesting and maybe a challenge, but since her marriage she is now written as a petulant child, wilfull but without substance! She is naive and meddlesome, and has tested Murtasim’s patience many times!In fact she has also risked peoples lives through her naivity, and her immaturity! It’s a pity they couldn’t keep up the intelligent feisty Meerub, instead they have made her out to be a childlike figure compared to the wise Murtasim! Frankly by now he too should be tired of her antics,we the viewers are!The saving grace is Yumna’s performances!
With due respect to the guest, sorry i didn't enjoy the review. Too much criticism, too much 'search for logic'. Today for the first time I had to skip again and again. In my opinion, these episodes were better than the previous ones. Yes maryam's part was dragged but along with that, proper screen time was given to the main leads. Loved the cute interactions b/w them. And finally it's getting hard for meerab to resist Murtasim 👀

Sometimes i feel you are doing this intentionally..now you have decided that you wont appreciate anything regarding tere bin..you are finding and discussing such small details that has no impact on drama and ignoring all the good things happening..there was so much to discuss in these episodes how beautifully wahaj and yumna acted how well they emote there emotions there sarcasam scenes and much more..and hassan wht were you expecting from a drama that there will be no story except murtasim and merub’s romance?i mean for a story to progress you always need some plot some side characters some twists and thats what happening so please talk some sense its not a telefilm where there will be only one track and it will end in 2 hrs its a drama take it that way!

Hassan last week you kept complaining that there were no meerasim scenes, but now that we got soo many soo good meerasim scenes you discuss Anas, maryam, haya and everything except those meerasim scenes ??? And then you complain that the Anas track is annoying. No wonder it will be if you are only going to focus on anas and Maryam 🤷🏻♀️. The script is definitely not going to win any awards but it ain’t as bad as you are presenting it. All you did was to criticize the drama from the start to the end. All the ongoing dramas right now are plain boring and not entertaining at all, yet you guys ain’t that harsh on them. It felt as if someone was forcing you to review tb. I echo your sentiments TB was a revival for Pakistan tv industry claiming viewership globally Viewers had started taking an interest in PTV dramas especially the ones played by Yumna Zaidi and Wahaj Ali Unfortunately the reviewers harsh reviews and biased comments have deterred the viewers to stop at this point After all they watch it for entertainment and for the lead casts Yumhaj We feel that TB is being sabotaged and to avoid this political driven agenda we have moved on to entertain ourselves by watching movies on Netflix It’s a pity some elements in our own industry because of unfair criticism and age bashing have become an obstacle in the road to success for Pak drama viewership globally

Fls in our shows are like innocent angels And even in society women are held up to such high standards to be likeable even acceptable whereas Men can do the bare minimum and theyd be applauded ,We are so used to seeing PERFECT FLs With maybe a tiny little quirk here or there that people can't accept Meerab for who she is ;a childish /stupid but opinonated girl.She's shown to be an idealistic kind of person who is big on morals but not in touch with the ground realities(the scene where she beats her maid's husband like who in their right mind would resolve DV like that).She was raised as an only child ,protected and pampered.Also She isn't a lawyer she wanted to get admission to law school which didn't happen .So probably she's just done her high-school which explains her lack of experience,silliness and poor judgement .She's hot headed ,impulsive and thinks too highly of herself and although being stupid is wrong but it's also HUMAN.And tbvh I feel like her character is consistent like from the first episode she's shown to be a playful,silly impulsive,emotional and batmeez at times.But there are so many traits that make her different and likable like she speaks up for whatever she thinks is right,she isn't malicious, has everyone's best interests at heart and does actually Care about Murtasim.I feel like she's much better and real than other FLs who are portrayed as angels .
And also people find it realistic that a man looks at a girl and basically gives up his whole life to go sit at a shrine for her but can't accept that a woman is having a hard time falling in love with a guy,she didn't like and was basically forced to marry .Obviously you will have a lot of resentment for such a person no matter how perfect they are ,it will take a long time to develop feelings and maybe even longer to acknowledge these feelings .Like she might actually have feelings for him at this point but maybe she's just in denial.like Even Murtasim doesn't expect her to reciprocate to his feelings straight away but the audience do .
I know the show has many many many loopholes but at the same time it's still a good show,different ,refreshing and entertaining like even if it goes downhill from here Meerasim will always be special to me.

Meerab is also a very inocent character very pure from the heart like a child thats why Murtasim love her , in every show all critics asked it why he loves her she has no such a qualities , i m surprise they are drama analised and they dont get it that how she is inocent and down to earth character , i know her bad decisions her sturnbness make her worest but still she is like a child .

Love Zainab's perspective. Being in the US and watching Tere Bin, I agree with her. I understand where you guys are coming from in asking what does Murtasim see in Meerab. I am not sure, but I think at some point Murtasim will tell her and us why he likes her (will have to see). You are right, Ep 39 will show us what Murtasim's "Chahat" was. He never said Pyar or Mohabbat; he said "Chahat"; it wasnt a girl. I also heard that now TB will come 4 times a week so that they can wrap it up sooner than 6 or 7 more weeks. While Meerab and the other female characters are poorly written and portrayed, I feel that Meerab wont allow Mariam to run away and there will be a twist to end MZ's role. Also Asim Mahmood is making an appearance soon. Who is he? Lots of Qs. Whats left in TB - ending all the villian tracks - Haya, MZ, Rohail etc.; Mariam's wedding; possible Haya's wedding?? Possible Murtasim/Meerab separation; Contract tearing; Love.. Its going to be crazy 10 episode or so left. Hassan, dont stop watching. I agree with Zainab, watch the old episodes of TB to keep you motivated to see it to the end.

One of the most lackluster reviews of something haute..the only saving grace was Zainab....I have no problem with something haute not reviewing an entire episode of tere bin...it could be clubbed with Monday review...when there is no interest even to roast then why force oneself to give an 1.5 hr review of this....first review of SH in which I yawned and felt very bored....sorry Hassan you looked so uninterested in reviewing and you did not have to put yourself and us through this...sad...

Both are characters murtasim and meerub are very well written. It’s a long drama and I’m very sure the ending will justify all the flaws we can see right now. So please take it as a journey of this couple. And you should praise their acting skills they have done a tremendous job!!

Actually I think both Hassan and Aamna perfectly complement each other. So its difficult for regular viewers (including myself) of SH to imagine one without the other in this program. Although to give her credit, Zainab did come across as quite sensible and grounded too. Am sure she must be just as apprehensive herself knowing it would not be in Aamna’s shoes even if it’s temporarily. And yes, I missed Aamna too

Did miss Amna, but Zainab was a refreshing change too. One thing is for sure, she watches the dramas more closely than Hassan and Amna. She corrected Hassan multiple times referring to the relevant scenes and conversations from the past episodes. Normally, I would be listening to them go off on a tangent, not considering past instances from the dramas, I would feel like wanting to interject n correct them,but here Zainab would mention exactly what I would be thinking.

Zainab has an eye for details, loved the references she gave from the past episode about Haya not sharing the room with Mariam and her knowing Malik Zubair, even I had the same thoughts. Her stance on Naurez and Meerubs arc being straight line is soo on point. Although we all missed aamna today, would LOVE TO HAVE A REVIEW WITH BOTH AAMNA AND ZAINAB 😇
That's true aamna and hassan, when they decide they dont like something, never goes in to such details that might justify some things that are happening in the drama.

Pakistani dramas does have continuity issues but on the whole dramas are for entertainment not for your Grey cells. That way one can point out characters don't brush or bathe. Can give them liberties.

Meerab going after her maid’s husband with a stick at the beginning set the tone for her character…she’s impulsive and strong-willed and stubborn…
Yes exactly....she has been the same ever since the first episode...impulsive, arrogant, immature but wants to stand up for what is right, though she doesnt know much how to go about it with maturity and some sense.

I am not agree with that why Murtasim fall in love with Meerab becuse she has no such quality . I am totally disagreed , i know Meerab is a stubarn character she did soo many stupid things but all the things that she did is unconciusly not intentionally she is soo inocent from heart very down to earth a simple person , these are the qualities that Murtasim loved her . Why the audience did not get it her inocence everyone can see it but her decisions bring her or other on trouble thats why we hated it , but we can not deny her purity of heart thats why Murtasim love her

I personally absolutely enjoyed episode no 38 . It was an absolute treat . Wahaj's performance in 37 and 38 episode was so natural . He is tooo good at the expression game .
I just hope there is some twist and meerab doens't enocarge or help mariyam to run away , and somewhere my gut feels says she won't be a part of mariyam running away with zubair . Because I feel jt will extremely unfair to her chatacter , as murtasim has done everything he could , do to make things happen for her sister . She should not come out being a fool and acting all irresponsible.

I think at the end of the day Meerub will not help Maryam run away with Anas/Malik Zubair or will change her mind at the last minute and will try to fix the situation but it will be too late and the blame will fall on her regardless. My only wish is that we finally see a drama where a character like Haya gets punished, but of course she will likely be forgiven and shown to change...all so unrealistic
Haya will never get punishment because Ma Begum & Murtazim trust her blindly, her mistakes are easily forgiven .. Haya has more respected compare to Meerab .. for now Meriam need Meerab to gain Anas ...

Oh god. This sounds like a news bulletin. And a very boring one. You guys were once so fun and entertaining, what happened? The Eid special episodes were literally so damn good. We got romance, angst and comedy all in one. How could you not see it ??? How could you not review those scenes ??? The subplot is kinda meh, but we ain’t watching it for the story now are we ? Don’t want to sound harsh but Hassan you are sounding so salty and negative. At the end of the day it’s just a drama. Not all dramas have social messages nor do all always have to make 100% sense. We have already established that some characters are not written that well and thus act out but at this point you are just getting repetitive. You have been bashing the script since 4 weeks. In every review. We get it. The script is poor. No one is watching it for the script. People just want some entertainment which TB is serving so damn well. Why review something 2 hour long and repeat the same thing. Wished you had appreciated the acting of both the leads, their expressions, the voice modulation, their looks etc. But nah, aap ki sui to script pr hi atki hui hai. Also this whole alpha make thing is getting annoying now. Theek hai Murtasim ne bola ke Merrub us ke andar ke janwar ko na jagaye, but that doesn’t mean he is literally an animal. He is in love, people in love do everything for their significant other no matter how absurd. That doesn’t lower him as a person. Besides he is an educated, kind hearted and logical guy (minus the slap obviously), what do you expect him to do ??? Shout at everyone and throw anger tantrums 🤷🏻♀️? Obviously he will try to make meerub happy. You always complain about toxic ML and now that you got Murtasim who is close to perfect you still complain 🙂? And to answer the question why murtasim is head over heels for meerub, who wouldn’t love meerub ? She is strong opinionated, kind, funny, humorous, so pure hearted without an single evil thought (even for haya) and so god damn gorgeous 🔥. She ain’t your bechari typical Fl. And I’am so glad we finally got a strong female lead, even if flawed. She is obviously going to make some mistakes (big ones 🥲 as the writer already told) mainly due to her ego and lack of communication with murtasim but thats how life is. People do learn from mistakes. Nobody is perfect. Flawed characters don’t automatically equate to bad or dumb characters. And Murtasim who himself admires these qualities in meerub would never settle for a doormat type Fl like haya. Opposite attract each other.

Hassan somewhat I can understand that why you have problems with Meerab but not appreciating "The Murtism"! Why we only hype up male leads who force themselves on their girls! They don't give them attentions, ignore them, show needles attitude and consider them their property coz of their so called male showmanism! We all have enough of this in our society and even Onscreen as well! Just because someone who can't Beat such standards like Murtism character has set you ppl go on degrading him as " Not Alpha Male" Character etc... OH PLEASE Enough of this Mir Hadi , Shamsher or even Farhad like charactes!!! The fact that Murtism has become the most talked and loved male now recently is because of REASON! He has got the swag, absolute personality but knows his values! The writer may have put some flaws still we should encourage such rare characters in men rather showing only male who patronizes females.... characters like Hamza from Humsafar and now Murtism Khan are very well written characters undisputably!..

I like today's review,its exactly the same as we audience think , Meerab's character is too flawed, we literally don't enjoy Meerab's romantic scenes, writer should have given some sense in Meerab's character. Yumna is nailing it so we are able to watch it. I like this girl as well ,we are missing Aamna ji but this girl is nice.

To Hasan's question regarding Haya's arc: Haya only cares about herself, and she is wanting to prove to Maa begum that your own daughter is not so "pure" and you were raising fingers on my character. Also, Haya wants Murtasim because she can't have him. Like Anas is the toy Mariam wants, Murtasim is the toy Haya wants.
It’s sad that we’re watching the last phase of Terebin drama and reviewers are still looking for logic. Wasn’t it already established by you & Aamna in the initial episodes that TEREBIN is Yumna & Wahaj, their onscreen chemistry & a guilty pleasure with lo logic associated? Didn’t we audience get all these elements in the recent episodes? I know one thing for sure that when Terebin ends & there will be nothing left to criticize, we are going to miss Meerasim. Just you few people lost interest in the drama, I have lost interest in critique review where there is too much talking about story & logic & less about the brilliant performances Yumna, Wahaj & other cast are delivering in every episode.
Welcome Zainab to the world of Something Haute! Your views and points were all accurate about the flaws in Tere Bin. As a viewer, I’m watching it for Wahaj’s performance. His eyes, and facial expressions of anger, love, and seriousness are so beautiful that made this drama watchable. The scenes are directed very well; however, the writing is so poor of this drama if there was no flaming chemistry between Wahaj and Yumna, nobody would have watched it. The romantic scenes are the big hit. A great appreciation goes to Yumna as she is such a great actor who has hooked the viewers even with her poorly-written character. 1) The scene with Meerab and her father was very beautiful. I believe Meerab brought tea for her father as Murtasim refused to listen to anything about Annas, and she knew that the other person in the house was her father who could stand for her. But then a thought came to her mind if Murtasim was not ready to accept Annas, he would have been tougher. So she didn't tell anything about Annas. 2) The writing is such a big slap on the women characters in this drama that shows the women are dumb and they can’t take appropriate decisions in life. What a shame though! Does it make any sense that Mariam and Meerab are not convincing Annas to meet up with Murtasim? Does anyone believe that Murtasim will ever say NO to Meerab for meeting up with Annas? The writer has shown Meerab as a very blockheaded character, and It is very sad. Zainab arose a very good point - Why does Murtasim like Meerab? What’s special in her? Why??? They could have shown that Meerab as a very strong personality and is loved by all the women of Murtasim’s village. She is doing something for the people, and for the girls' education in his village, blah, blah and those are the positive things in her personality that’s why Murtasim likes her. Instead of showing that Meerab is persuading Murtasim to marry his sister blindfolded to any Tom, Dick & Harry and doing all the stupid things every time.

People are generally quicker at criticizing the female character than male. The moral standards are different. If we started counting the absurd things that Murtasim has done, then you’d see that they’re both crazy and toxic 🤣

Then around her kidnapping, drama, then as a result of the kidnapping, Murtasim’s had to administer a punishment on zouber, who then killed X3 of Murtasim’s workers including Naila’s husband,! Now Meerub is doing this outrageous thing for Marium without showing due diligence is acting irrationally and risking Marium’s life and the possible honour of Murtasim’s family! Even if this fake Anas wasn’t MZ, anyone would first under take due diligence before deciding if the guy was from a decent family, isn’t this a practice in your culture,and even in mine, my parents would ask about the background of any man I plan to marry,basics like his work, his family, his education, employment, and also the meeting of families is often the norm! This Meerub telling Murtasim to still meet Anas, despite the uncouth behaviour she witnessed from ‘ the ‘ mother’ of Anas, should have been a red flag! She is too arrogant to realise that she cannot approach a project for anyone’s rights like a bull in a China shop,she needs to investigate the man!If she really believed his declaration of dying love for Marium, then again he would make it a point of attending with his mother, and not send her alone, that in itself should point to Meerub that this guy isn’t serious! Meerub still believes what ZM tells her in the promo, and yet she has been told a thousand times that Murtasim doesn’t lie! But she prefers to believe a guy she met twice to her husband, whom she had known since her childhood! Weird!
