You guys missed the biggest flaw. Haya wasn’t questioned about why she didn’t come running to them when she saw Mariam with Malik Zubair. She recognised him!

Aamna put it beautifully that its all about Meerub and Murtaism chemistry but big shoutout for all the other characters also , director and also to writer who gave beautiful Meeraism moments .. This kind of euphoria I have never experienced with fictional characters.. 4 episodes a week was maddening..😅
Yumna has nailed it in these episodes with her expressions and credit goes to her for selecting this role .This shows her confidence as a performer.
I think next week will be the last four episodes .

No Hassan. I think you’re being unfair here. Being an international wildlife photographer takes an incredible amount time away from home. That was the only thing that actually made sense. People hvae to go to areas where there is little to no communication. If you have a lot of responsibilities that you have to prioritise, then you cannot follow this particular passion.

A wildlife photographer can work very hard for the money, risk his or her life, and have one's mettle and strength tested to the toughest degrees. Sometimes the only way to those natural sites is on foot, which means walking for miles and with a heavy and ungainly pack to carry in addition! plus an undergrad degree in photography! Murtasim could never do this with the burden of the family estate to run, and those suggesting this flippantly need to read Suzi Eszterhad’s book called My Wild Life which traces her life as a wild life photographer!Not easy but definitely a passion!
Everything aside Yumna Zaidi❤❤what a brilliant actress she is💞💞she doesn’t need any dialogues to convey the message; her expressive eyes are enough❤ she can express 10000 words through her eyes…she stole the show this time .. the final shot where she was standing alone in the road❤❤OMG got goosebumps seeing her angelic crying face💕yumna deserves much more appreciation❤

Murtasim has fallen in love with Meerab because he knows that she has a pure heart who has good intentions for others. She is vocal about her thoughts and never become 'bechari' about her condition.
He has also gone through the same kind of loss that she has gone through and understands her pain of loss of identity and dreams.
What loss did he go through? I have not watched that episode but after watching this review it seems funny that wildlife photography is compared to losing your identity. I love this serial but some things are really odd.

Murtasim used to be a free soul who wanted to live his life on his own terms and do something big on his own.
But life happened, and all his freedom got snatched away from him.
In a way, both Murtasim and Meerab became prisoner of that conservative system.

The entire khan household showed 2 brain cells, in Malik Zubair track, including the guards. All were guilty. Meerab’s biggest blunder was not telling Murtasim of Maryam’s intention to elope, and then sending her with him. It was Maryam who constantly emotionally manipulated Meerab, making her believe that she would die if she didn’t elope. Her first attempt was foiled by Meerab. The question is that when Malik Zubair had threatened Murtasim of taking revenge through the household women, and he even saw him at Maryam’s college, why didn’t he caution the girls showing Maryam his picture? Finding a brothel at the address should have been a big red flag for Murtasim to get the identity of the guy investigated. But he didn’t even bother to take Meerab and check if the house was the same. Maa Begum, thought quick marriage was the solution. Evil Haya deliberately hurt the family that raised her with so much love.

It is amazing how even reviewers only remeber Meerab's fault & not how Mariam pushed her...there was no mention in this one hour review of that!

@Mahnoor Qureshi agree 💯 but what really ticked me off was after the Khan household learnt Mariam had run away, why was Meerub looking like orphan Annie?? Like a girl bullied in the school yard?? Meerub was weeping constantly, not admitting anything and behaving like a victim 🤨
One would have thought Murtasim would immediately dispatch one of his guards to follow this woman claiming to be Anas’s mother,especially as he noted how enamoured Meerub and indeed his sister was of this Anas, which wasn’t commensurate with what he saw in this fake mother’s character! clearly she didn’t sound like a mother raising a man whom Marium and Meerub highly respected! I also think he should have taken Meerub with him to ‘meet’ Anas, as that would have triggered a red flag when she too sees what Murtasim witnessed!
Yumna is absolutely brilliant in meerub character no one can play meerub character better than yumna. Without any dialogues yumna nailed last two episodes

Sometimes i feel that people are mistaken in judging Meerub.
Coming to Meerub, we have viewed from the beginning that she's been quite impulsive in decision making when it comes to being against the feudal mentality. In this case, she somewhat saw her own reflection in Mariam; a girl who was cornered and strangled into a forceful decision becoz of their traditions. So, Meerub is really invested in saving Marium, and shes quite emotionally invested that shes somehow not thought about it in a practical manner . In this whole scenario, she might have made illogical mistakes, but out of all this, her intentions were pure. She had the intention to change the tradition through Marium, she wanted to set an example for the rest. But unfortunately, things go out of her hand due to Haya's vile intentions, adding on to it is Malik Zubair being Murtasim's enemy.
Coming to the point on why she allowed Marium to elope, what else would she have done at that time? Marium was constantly threatening her about suicide, until the last moment Meerub was against her eloping. But after losing all hopes, what else would she have done? Waited for Marium to kill herself or would allow her to get married to Naurez forcefully????
Anyways, until now, many have been misunderstanding Meerub. She's left all alone. Anwar is a shame in the name of a father. He really lost a chance to prove his fatherly love to Meerub. In all of this, Meerub has been devastated to an extent that maybe she'll never be able to trust herself after getting betrayed in the form of Anas/Mallik Zubair. Shes all back to square one, she got married to seek shelter, and today shes back to being homeless and kicked out.
For me, the saving grace for Meerub is Yumna, the way she portrays the character is applaud worthy. If i can sympathize with Meerub and understand her is becoz of Yumna and the way she expresses Meerub. All the guilt, the betrayal, the way she realized her error in judgement, was so outstandingly performed. Thats why I'll always have a soft corner for Meerub
Never ever will I be forgiving the writer for treating Meerub as her step child!!!

The last two episodes she outshined everyone . The serial should end next week . Good performance from Yumna Zaidi to look forward to .

I agree with you. Also, Maryam who is an adult herself, is not really held accountable for her actions. It would have been different if Malik Zubair had kidnapped her. But she went willingly, without once thinking of her family. She is being hugged by brother, who is only obsessed with the fact that his wifey betrayed him.
But thank God, unlike other dramas, Meerub was not thrown out of the house. Murtasim escorted her back.
I am also mad with Meerub’s real father. He really is a useless character. Never there for his daughter.

Watching these four episodes, i had only one thought: Thank God for yumna zaidi. If literally ANY other actress had played this role, i would be cursing meerub to high heavens. In some weird “hatred of women” agenda, Nooran has completely, irreversibly, irrevocably ruined her own female lead. Thank Goddd Yumna signed this role and made us feel the impossible: sad/sorry for meerub. If this was anyone else, i would’ve drove meerub out of that house myself, but the guilt, shame, fear and anxiety that yumna showed was so bloody perfect, i damn near cried for pretty much all the 4 episodes. Kudos Yumna zaidi. you saved a character which even the writer herself hates.

I am so overwhelmed by Yumna and Wahaj's excellent performances that I am not paying attention to faults in the storyline. They are the heart and soul of Tere Bin. Without a doubt, Yumhaj has mastered the art of anguish. Their heartbreaking, breathtaking emotional performance in these episodes deserves accolades and appreciation on all fronts. I am bowled over by their flawless acting. UFF, UFF, Their chemistry is to be remembered for years to come.

Meerab❤❤❤ the most misunderstood character 😢 some people are so obsessed with Murtasim that they never ever try to even meerab’s situation/her trauma/her sufferings from the very beginning … meerab is one of the most realistic character i have ever seen❤ it makes me so sad to think that Meerab doesn’t truly have a home , the way she gets parceled fron one house to another it seems like she isn’t a human, she is like an object for all of them. It’s not about who’s right or who’s wrong.. it’s about Meerab.. she has no agency to live in a house which is hers.

Yumna uplifted a poorly written ridiculous character so brilliantly that she turned the weakly scripted drama into a hit. Wahaj, of course acted very well, but then his character was not only well written but was highly glorified too. So i would give more credit to Yumna because where Wahaj got a strong character, Yumna got an extremely weak one.

The only thing I feel sorry about is that Meerub keeps getting kicked out from one house to another abandoned time and time again. We should change this in our drama. Everyone should have a secure roof over their head despite their flaws or mistakes. I agree that leaving your wife on the road in a place that already closed the doors on her once was irresponsible

Her actual real father lives there. The idiot dad just looked on as his daughter was being led away. Plus no matter what she did, why could they not have waited till morning or ask her to clarify things. She was wrong absolutely but still dragging women out of the house is so bad. My issue is always this, that women when they have been perceived to be unworthy are stripped of every shred of dignity and agency.

Also Pakistani dramas need to stop presenting dangerous situations as romantic. Like coercing some to eat something they are allergic to. In a swver allergic reaction someone could die in minutes. It's not funny and in extremely poor taste. So was Murtasim asking Meerub to jump of the roof. Or leaving a woman on the street. Or helping Maryam run away and not checking out the guy.
Yumna is the only reason that fans are connecting and liking Meerab otherwise we would have lost our hope way before.
And after these episodes now I understand why Meerab is not accepting murtasim..... because due to her past experience in which her parents left her all alone that she don't want to get attach with other person again and then that person will also left her all alone...... but at the end we all know she loves murtasim and again she left all alone

Murtasim wanted to pursue international wildlife photographer as a profession and that profession need him to travel and set outside his country and thats why he didn't want to be a feudal lord.
Seeing Wahaj Ali and Yumna Zaidi's performance...they have proved to be one of the finest actor of Pakistan. These are the actors that people want to see in movies of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Mani Ratnam...they are amazing....wish this could happen 🙏🙏

It WAS unbelievable that maryam did nothing & was just sitting there to be assaulted. In such a desperate situation, she could've locked herself in the washroom or tried to hit the window or at least tried to hit him with smth.

Never saw a male lead getting emotional while talking about his career. That whole sequence was very emotional and the chemistry between wahaj and yumna was the highlight. In that complete sequence wahaj was speaking his heart out and yumna was just acting through her eyes...that's a really powerful scenes with outstanding performances by both of them.
And might I say yumna looked gorgeous in all these four episodes but especially in last episode...simple salwar kameez, a messy braid and with NO make-up look...she took my heart yet again and top it all her mindblowing performance where she was doing nothing but crying like a baby...although it was meerub's fault but I was still feeling bad for her, reason was her brilliant performance. just love yumna❤

Aamna is right tere bin is all about meerasim and yumhaj's god gifted chemistry. And in last 4 episodes Yumna's performance was a killer & wahaj's also but Yumna se nazren hat hi nahi rahi thi & she looked beautiful while crying in a simple get up😅
I find murtasim a very well written male lead character in any Pakistani dramas abhi tak, itna dashing angry young man, fuedal lord yet soft, romantic, humanitarian human being, ye kitna balanced character hai i think like that.
I think it will have more than 50 episodes.
And siraj sir has said in his few interviews ke what made him do tere bin is the conflict between the lead characters and his favourite scenes are all bedroom scenes of meerasim. So it is all about meerasim and sone pe suhaga ho gaya that yumhaj are main leads of the show with their undeniable chemistry.
Yumna also has said in one of her interviews that in tere bin everyone has a grey shade in their character except Murtasim. So i m glad murtasim is written like that and i like meerab too but thoda aur behtar ho sakta tha.

Murtassim already explained why he tolerates Meerab, because he knows how similar they are and he can relate to her more than Meerab knows. Her cuteness (both looks and personality), her little moments, her playing hard to get, her morals are what made him fall for her.
Neither of them care for the feudal system. The two of them together will be a force for enlightenment and change hopefully!
I will never shut up about wahaj acting when he said chalo and the scene that followed. Yumnah and wahaj has created some next level chemistry probably the best ever in PTV drama❤

So the man who destroyed Meerub’s dreams of studying Law, ie her biological father who got her in this mess, and marrying her with Murtasim whom she didn’t like in the beginning is now once gain turning his back on his daughter like her did at her birth, don’t anyone see him as the villain ,weak incompetent and breaking his promise to protect and support Meerub! She could have lived in his house, why is she sent away to the very people whom Maa Begum didn’t want attending the wedding and who were just a pawn in their plan? They are not her parents yet Anwar is once again abrogating his duty as a father, Meerub can never trust him as a father again!
Murtasim leaving her is also a travesty, given he knew it was Marium who got herself involved,and Meerub was just supporting her, I recall he agreed to go and see Anas, because he told Meerub you are Marium’s ‘umeed’ I won’t break her Umeed! So here for me Murtasim had failed Meerub, so his love is now in question! he wasn’t severe with Marium who was the cause of all this,yet he chose to abandon Meerub,
No one asked Haya why she was busy videoing while Marium was leaving home,with MZ, instead of calling Murtasim to stop them in their tracks?
If I were Meerub, I’ll study law, be independent live my life and prove I’m not desperate to have to depend on a man as my support!
I think her helping Maryam to elope was bad. There is no justification. But letting Haya go scot free in all this is so stupid . It’s like all those ppl who take videos of people being beaten and don’t do anything. They are also complicit in the whole thing.

I don't know why people are so unforgiving towards Meerab, whereas they are much more sympathetic and forgiving towards the male characteres in shows even if they are actual criminals (eg:danish's character in kth). Yes, Meerab is naive and has flaws but her intentions are never wrong like maybe we will see her growth from an impulsive person to a more mature person .Yes she made a mistake but it was an honest mistake,it wasn't like she was plotting and scheming against Maryam or Murtasim. I feel like being angry or frustrated on Meerab's actions is totally understandable but the character doesn't deserve to be hated .
Audiences are not used to seeing flawed female characters.

The hug scene between Marium and Murtasim also was really good. I actually thought he was gonna slap her, but instead we got a really lovely scene.
Hassan Murtasim initially doesn't agree to malik zubair's terms and conditions because before that scene meerub asks him can't we track/trace malik's current location, in response murtasim says kay mainay location kay liyay kaha hua hay, that's why he also says to malik zubair kay may khud tumharay paas kuch dair may hunga, you guys forgot this important scene.
Powerhouse of emotions in these 4episodes ,Meerub is not a badly written character she supposed to be like this and Yumna has been superb in portraying her,from being raised in a urban modern set up she lands in a feudal system comes to know her parents aren't hers ,Wahaj and Yumna have nailed their characters,also the rest of the household, Murtesim is not laid-back he says I am tracing thru the phone about Maliks whereabouts and Amina Hassan I wish you had given a shout to Marium and Murtisms scene when he finds her in the room . Thoroughly engrossed in these four episodes.

I, only & only sympathize with Meerab's character because of how badly she's been written. While the writer chose to be extremely progressive in terms of the main lead, she legit ruined the heroine's arc & sensibility. Ajeeb shit log hain. Hero ko thapar se nikaaltay hain tou heroine ko dumb hone ka certificate dene p utar jatay hain.
Exactly she used to a strong independent girl who stand for everyone's right. Then how all sudden she became this stupid if writer wants to glorify Murttasim she should not show meerub as a strong sensible girl from starting she should show a stupid girl just to glorify one character she ruins a beautiful character of meerub yrr i really wants to see her as a strong lady and she overcome from this situation and Murttasim support her take stand for her and she fell for him. But by making her this stupid writer do really injustice with her
25:18 okay disagree with you here. To be the "international" photographer that he wanted to be, he would have to be abroad and give all his time to that. So it was not possible for him to do both his feudal responsibilities and his passion at the same time. The reason all decisions are by made him is because he decided to hold the position of head of feudal thingys given by his dying father. Had he refused and gone for his passion, he would not be the alpha, decision making all important khan murtasim khan that we see now.
He could have just been a wild life photographer and forget the International part.

for the question as to how did meerab get to anas's house from the mall. i think she went to the mall in the first place because obviously you can fetch taxis from malls its no secret and as there were no drivers at home, it'd be hard for her to leave the haveli and to call a taxi at the haveli, it'd be even more suspicious.
Of course , the entire build up was to make Meerab realise her love. Waiting for Murtasim to remember that Haya had seen M. Zubair at the university. I was however, perplexed when Murtasim at first refused to bargain land for Maryam, and then suddenly agreed when he found the truth about Meerab. Was it that Murtasim thought M Z had kidnapped Maryam, and accepting his demand was a defeat for him? On knowing that his sister went willingly with him helped by his wife, he conceded defeat. Was the land more precious or winning more important than the honour of his sister? It’s a good thing that MZ was only interested in land and was not a sexual predator.

@@Zeya_Khan Through out the night which consisted of extra long hours😊, Murtasim was not in a hurry to do anything. He could have agreed to MZ demands taking it as an opportunity to get to him and then could have fought or killed him or whatever, over there.
Murtasim was a defeated man after knowing about Meerub's betrayal. The difference in response was meant to demonstrate how it broke him. He had no fight left in him, so to speak!

He talked to Malik. Then he went to get Maryam. Came back , took Meeran to Karachi from hyderabad. Even after all this , subah nahi hoti. 😀
God gifted chemistry and God gifted karma between the two actors..thats it! If both of them would have been single, i would stan them as a couple....i say that respectfully! They are like SRK and Kajol on Screen and as an Indian i have not seen this chemistry for such a long time on screen.

unpopular opinion but in this entire situation i feel for meerab the most. the main reason as to why she agreed to this marriage was because she was in dire need of a shelter and needed a place called home for herself, murtasim was there for her and he was willing to provide for her need at the time and he was her only option. the entire "tum mere ghar chalo" was the turning point. however, murtasim has now stripped her off the only reason why she initially said yes to the marriage. he put her back to square 1 and the trauma she started off with, he eventually became her home and then like all her relations in life, he kicked her out too. i mean doesn't matter what meerab did for this or what she made murtasim go through however kicking her out was just heartwrenching for meerab.

Totally disappointed with Hassan Today mainly on 4 points.
1. You cant say ki kisko kisay pyaar kyun hua, Anyone can fall in love with anyone at
anytime. We've read it so many times that pyaar kabhi soch ke nahi hota. Agar reason chaahiye toh let me say Murtu likes meerab's quality of challenging him.
2. You cant make fun of dream jobs. Wildlife photography demands years of travelling and not just taking animals photos easily during shikaar.
3. The dialogue writing is pathetic but we must appreciate the writer for the scenes she has created. She has just written 2 dramas. Unka mazaak bananay kebajaye motivate her to improve her flaws. We cant ignore the fact that she has created Murtasim a non toxic character.
4. Sorry to say most of the blunders we watch are also due to direction, please Siraj ul haq ke bhi points cut kia karo. The direction was so bad as amna said, lag hi nahi raha tha ki ghar ki beti kidnap hui hai. You guys watch soo many dramas that are dragged but atleast give credit to Nooran for not dragging the tale.

The scene was about Murtasim sacrificing his passion cum profession as a WP. Instead, he was forced to choose his family business, also as a deeply patriarchal norm. A lot of our male friends who came from family business backgrounds or trading communities, had to sacrifice their own choices for career like music, arts, teaching etc. to continue taking responsibility of their family business. For women, the equivalent is to sacrifice careers for getting married, across South Asian communities.

For the first time, I found nooran makhdom smarter than you. If someone has kidnapped your loved one, will you kill the kidnapper without even confirming where the victim is ? Malik could have left mariam with guards that if khan tries to harm me, just shoot his sister.
Also, merab has been impulsive since beginning and has not been shown a very rational or logical character, rather someone who wants to be on the right side but still needs to learn which side is right. Every human has their journey to be wiser and learn things some do It by making mistakes and maybe meerab is one of them.

Murtasim first did not accepted the demands of MZ because he had self belief on his power and inner strength( as his family was with him) . He knew he can handle it on his own and can TAKE A RISK.
But when he got to know that Meerab is involved in this matter. If by any chance, Marium gets hurt by any means, the blame would come to Meerab and it would be unforgivable. He became weak as his inner strength is broken. His belief on himself had been shakened because his own love betrayed his trust.
Now he CAN'T TAKE A RISK.
As an avid fan of the drama and especially yumna’s and wahaj’s performances and chemistry it really bothers me that the story is increasingly turning into a regressive story. Even though they are showing a non-toxic hero, which is really needed on Pakistani tv, they are on the other hand showing a totally clueless heroine. And in fact showing that any woman having an independent thought or a free spirit is bound to make all the wrong decisions. All female characters in the drama are shown to be naive, unintelligent overly emotional etc. which is reproducing a very negative and patriarchal view on women. The crux of the drama is the interaction of two equally strong individuals Meerab and Murtasim and that’s why we are all so invested in that story, but by showing all her decisions as wrong they are taking the enjoyment out of it. I agree with Aamna that Meerabs character consistently is written badly.
Another point. I really think it’s a pity that Hassan goes so much into irrelevant details and breaks Aamnas flow and her observations. At least let her finish so that we can follow her train of thoughts.
Meerub may not be badly written. Maybe that is how she is meant to be. Yumna always does out of the box characters!

The sequence of Haya standing right in front of Malik Zubair and recording them, and then, after the video was shown, nobody questioned her but Maa Begum, was a poorly written and absurd sequence. Well, I have a scenario in mind, which is not a novel idea, but at least it wouldn't question our intelligence. Instead of having Haya record the elopement, they could have installed CCTV cameras, and by doing so, they would have discovered Meerab helping Maryam. 🤷♂

You guys covered the discrepancies well, but you missed the elephant in the room, the mother of all weaknesses. Haya records Maryam leaving, does nothing to stop it, and the family just accepts her explanation that she did nothing because Meerab would have found a way to escape blame again. She let their daughter run away, deliberately, but they don't find that to be a problem worth exploring.

Agree with all the things you guys have said but I hope yall hold Hania accountable too for playing back to back terrible characters like Hala and Maheer. Meerab is at least consistent even if she consistently extra and ziddii.
Hala character, however it is written, irrespective, hania did a great job with her acting. Hania chose hala because it's different from her previous characters. Hala character Atleast shown justified. Atleast better than maheer character. After so many episodes not able to understand what mahler character is actually. Not even her acting is saving her character. But hania is fabulous as hala.

Still sad that writer and director are not getting the appreciation they deserve. How oft n do u see a tight knitted script for a masala drama. Need to be appreciated how themeaning of a dialog spoke in ep7 was revealed in ep 39. Similarly earlier it seemed the scene of haya and murtasim meeting malik zubair outside university was useless, but well it turns out the scene had significant meaning afterall. With my trust on director and writer, i m making crazy prediction. I think murtasim and meerab did consummate their marriage on the night after his love declaration. I think the director wants to shock with pregnancy revelation liked he surprised with anas track. From the shows many bts picture it is clear that meerab and murtasim are going to have a child and from those pics it is also clear that she is not in haveli. So if the baby track will come in separation then they should have consummated before ep 41. I do not think the show has now time to show patch up, consummation then separation and baby track. Also When the contract was signed during their nikah at that time murtasim said one day u will tear those paper urself and meerab said woh meri aajadi ka din hoga. And murtasim further said u will cry a lot. Well, that confession night turns out meerab last night at that house becoz next night she was out of house, azaad and cried a lot .

I hope future dramas show more balanced and relatable characters where everyone has strengths and flaws. That's why ishq jalebi is one of my favorite drama of wahaj Ali. Basim and Bela are both flawed but at the same time bring out the best in each other. And all the characters in the show are relatable and loveable. That way ehd e wafa ishq Jalebi and jo bichar gaye and dil na umeed to nahi are masterpieces. You can watch them again and again.Tere Bin is a soap opera. Poorly written and just running on Yumhaj chemistry. Hope to see these two together again in a much better story

His attraction and love towards Meerub is because she is like him....he sees a part of himself in her.
