I’ve said for 25 years as a Jets fan, at least the future is always brighter than the present, cuz you can’t get any worse than they are Right Now (whenever Right Now has been) 😂. Can’t even say that now. The next five years are going to be cleaning up the garbage slop roster of overpaid over the hill veterans where young players with upside used to be. As a Jets fan, the only thing I have to root for is trading Garret Wilson literally anywhere just so he gets to be on a real team before his psyche is just completely crushed, and that’s not what being a fan is supposed to be

Right on cue. The day after this video the Jets blow a 14 point lead, 19 unanswered points, zero points in the second half, Rodgers throwing a pick six inside the Seahawks ten yard line, the closest they get to the endzone after that is the 29. I would say this wouldn't rank anywhere near the worst loss of all time for the Jets, but week after week of compounding losses is making an argument for the worst season in team history.

I think the Cowboys just hit a perfect storm of players (thanks to Minnesota) and coaching that even Jerry couldn't screw it up. It seems that more and more we see owners who constantly hamstring their team because they think they know better. It actually makes you wonder how they can be so successful in business, just to look like goofballs when it comes to football.

Here's the thing: if a team gets better after a player is traded, whether that be team morale or actual games, that demonstrates the fault was the player. If a team gets better after a coach is fired or a general manager is fired, that demonstrates the fault was management. When you have consistent failure at all levels, that shows it is ownership. And it's really that simple with the Jets: it's Woody Johnson. It was last year, it was this year, and will be next year. Until he sells the team, nothing will change.
Look at every "bad" team in recent memory (Jets, White Sox, Pirates, etc.) and the answer is always "bad ownership."

I've been a Patriots fan since third grade, when my boyhood enthusiasm was crushed by a Refrigerator in the end zone 46-10.
I suffered through the 1-15 season in 1990, the "even when they make the Super Bowl they're not even that good" Drew Bledsoe era, and the 5-11 first year under Belichick, when the franchise was a laughingstock.
And like Belichick, my bright spot was always "at least we ain't the Jets."
And now, with the Pats in full rebuilding mode, I once again take solace in the fact that even at our worst, we still ain't the Jets.

First season I ever watched football was the Mark Sanchez Jets in 2009-2010. Really sparked my love for them and have been a huge fan ever since. I am now 2 years graduated from college and the only team that even gave a sliver of hope since then was the Ryan Fitzpatrick squad. It really is brutal.

The biggest mistake Jets fans made was thinking the bad QB play last season was entirely Wilson's fault. That deluded so many people into thinking they were just a QB away but the truth is, the WR room was vastly overrated, the oline was atrocious and the play calling was one of the worst in the league. Even if AR stayed healthy, it wouldn't have changed that much. This belief made them go all in this year and that was a huge mistake. The only bigger mistake was giving AR the keys to the ship and them letting him steer it right into a giant iceberg

He was only concerned about winning MVP. Tells a lot about a person when a single person trophy was more important than a team trophy. Didn't help that he also spread false information during the pandemic and believes he's smarter than professionals who've spent their lives in a field of study. He did get his doctorate in pathology from Social Media University so he's smarter right? He's as crazy as self proclaimed mathematician Terrence Howard who believes 1x1=2.
