The Bengals should draft 7 defensive players in the draft unless they draft 1 or 2 offensive lineman. The bears should draft 7 offensive lineman even if some of them are backups. @@jdday1757
They played a role to. That Baltimore game was decided by a pick on a throw to chase. Burrows fumbled a game away, sure I line is part. But being a 1 dimensional offense with no ground game is gonna make your defense gassed.
I know this wasn’t mentioned in the video but I feel like one big loser from the 2024 NFL season is Seahawks GM John Schneider. Schneider made a comment on how interior offensive lineman are overpaid and over drafted and he didn’t invest much into that position. Well now he’s getting what he deserves with Geno Smith getting sacked a bunch, and the fact that Seattle can’t run the ball is bad. Now to be fair this is Schneider’s first season as top authority but he can’t make the same mistakes like he did last offseason.
Any GM who undervalues the O-line and the defense should be automatically disqualified from being an NFL GM. That's like having an NBA front office that doesn't put any stock in that newfangled 3-pointer thingy.
If he doesn't change his philosophy after this year, it's time to part ways. Geno did the best he could under pressure, but he's not a miracle worker. We all saw how bad Sam Howell folded behind that terrible line.
Damien Lewis got a huge payday w Carolina we could never afford, he can be right about overpaid but it’s a devastating hole in the roster… you can’t just plug practice squad guys in the middle of your line
As a falcons fan this is what’s so frustrating about this franchise: they just fix one thing and then hope that washes away everything. They did that with the QB position and now they have little resources to capitalize on a rookie contract for 2 offseason
While this year hasn’t gone exactly great I actually think he is being a bit harsh on us. Our offense is stacked and ready, Penix is the long term guy and while the defense needs improving I don’t think it’s as dire as he makes it seem. The need to get a few good pieces in the draft, fudge some money for free agency and this defense would be decent. Idk what kind of coach Raheem will be, he did acknowledge he made a mistake and if he learns from it then great, also the pass rush in the last 4 games has been great
@ ya saying all that after 2 games. He was good for the final drive and that’s about it. He was inaccurate the majority of the night like was projected pre draft. Can we see him a little more before ya declare him the next QB? Ya did the same thing with Desmond Ridder
@ like bro we had the easiest strength of schedule, played in the worst division, used up all of our cap space, traded picks away for this team, and despite sweeping the only other competent team in the divison we don’t even control our own destiny going into the final week. And again we have no cap because of the Kirk Cousins contract and no picks because of Kirk Tampering and a wasted pick for Matt Judon. This is a bad situation for the future unless Penix becomes a star QB and that’s again just putting your eggs in one basket and thinking that will solve everything. Fontenot and Raheem need to go because they gonna do desperate things to keep the job this offseason and wreck us even further
Hi Falcons Fan here! I’ve been more impressed with how the pass rush has been down the stretch. We actually have most sacks over the last 5 games of the season which is a crazy turnaround. I am frustrated at the Cousins signing though. I wanted the free agency money for defense and draft a QB which ended up being Penix and go out and get an “actual” bridge QB. Our defense needs to much help to pay two QBs
Dude you guys played the Raiders, Giants and Commanders back to back to back, no sh** you guys got so many sacks, all 3 are probably in the top 10 worst O-Lines... And the Commanders played two backups for 50 minutes of the game. Any team would've gotten atleast 10 sacks against that poor of competition. L, FAILcons, 28-3, poverty franchise
Been subbed for about a year or so and thank you man! One of the reasons I’ve been enjoying watching football and keeping up with the sport year round!! Happy New Year’s!
For the Bengals, their defense taking a major step back makes very little sense to me. You have to remember that the core of the defensive unit that helped the Bengals reach Super Bowl 56 are still there for the most part. Unless guys like DJ Reader (who is now a Lion) and Jessie Bates (now a Falcon) are lynchpins to a defense, the only logical explanation I can give is the Bengals defensive unit got exposed. Even with all that talent upfront, if the playbook fails to adjust, teams will smarten up and find holes to exploit. Unless Burrow, Chase and Higgins can somehow play on defense, this Bengals team will be squandering their best years moving forward, since "it takes two hands to clap", as the old saying goes.
I can feel this as a Bills fan. Everyone is focused on the Bills losses of Diggs and Gabe Davis. The Bills lost literally half of their defensive starters (Tre White/ Hyde/ Poyer), Leonard Floyd (10+ sacks for BUF in 2023) and Milano was missing for 3/4 of the season. I feared what would happen to the defense. McDermott showed his defensive chops. Our S are average at best, but CBs Benford/Douglas and Johnson kept the Secondary in place. S Rapp and Hamlin are generally in place even if they are limited. Miller didn't replace Floyd but provided some pop again (5 sacks) and LB Dorian Williams showed up at LB. It's an advantage of having a Defensive HC. It also shows why JA should be MVP. The Bills lost 1/2 of their starting defense, and their top 2 WRs and have more wins this year than last year.
I'll repeat it, LOVE Joe Burrow's game (hate it that he's a divisional rival), but although I agree he has an MVP caliber season, he also has had some costly turnovers at key moments and no one mentions it. Lamar started the season with a defense just as bad as the Bengals and still willed the Ravens to some wins. Cannot start the Seasons losing the first 2-3 games year in and year out.
💯 the int in the bmore game, fumble in Pitt I think? He’s immensely talented but his turnovers directly resulted in L’s. With the absent ground game making them one sided, he’s gotta protect the ball.
It's hard to blame him for that. He puts up 35 points but he has one int so he loses. Mahomes throws way more picks yet he's 15-1 because his defence limits their opponents.
Dolphins fan here and I agree. They had a very rough season and Tua being hurt along with loses being decided by less then 4 points which sucks. If miami gets one more win I think that's a success and shows they need to build that o line
I think that coaches like Mayo and Morris deserve at least 2 seasons as coaches… Mayo has been given one of the rawest teams in the nfl and Morris was stepping into one of the most dysfunctional teams in the league… going from 6-11 to 9-8 or even 8-9 is a good improvement.
Garrett is so fucking good hed EASILY be a 1500 yard receiver on any playoff team...idfc what happens but we NEEEEEDDDDD to keep him....id easily take him if it means GW over AR12....See ya Aaron....
Honestly, as a Falcons fan, I am glad we did what we did because we ARE NOT 7/10 this year! Already! How about that! Yup! Now granted, I am going to really miss our obligatory 8th overall pick *a lot* because lord knows we could use it in a class as top heavy as this. At least our biggest position of need is one of the better ones in this class and there's historic levels of depth there all the way to day 3, that's anything D-line btw. since the Kirk contract will likely mean that we have to release multiple veterans including Grady Jarrett (as well as being unable to resign a few more, though some were bound to walk anyway). Leaving us at that position with basically the two positive surprises of this season: Arnold Ebiketie at Edge (I always believed in that kid, I really did, so proud of him) and Zach Harrison on the interior, both of whom at least consistently perform as top 40s in their given positions (unlike any other D-line player on the team, not counting Grady and Big Dave, neither of whom will be back next year). We also already resigned AJ last year (thank god, wouldn't have faulted him for walking in FA if we hadn't) and have another year left on the Jessie Bates deal as well (still a steal, don't care what anyone says, he is outperforming his AAV by a lot). But that aside out entire D-line and secondary (other than Clark Phillips) are scratches in FA and I wouldn't currently attempt to pursue any single one of them other than maybe, maybe going after Mike Hughes though right now I'd honestly rather try to see if we can get Simmons to stick around at a lower AAV for a year so we have Safety figured out. Just about none of our rookies on defense really got any exposure this year and I am actually kind of excited to see what kind of value we can get out of guys like Orhorhoro, Dorlus and Trice who could each really contribute to the pass rush, if healthy which none of them really were unfortunately. That's a bright spot, as is the fact that as I alluded to earlier the D-line class this year is perhaps the deepest we've seen in the modern era. I seriously think that this is going to be a record breaking class for the amount of starters it will produce in front 7s around the league. Our linebacking corps has also been a revelation, from the pretty obvious breakout of Kaden Elliss as an option in the pass rush (he's our highest rated pass rusher by any metric, fun fact) to the less talked-about emergence of Nate Landman and Troy Anderson behind him. That is one position we seem to be truly set at and Kaden will be back for the foreseeable future. As for Offense? Oh boy. Let's hope we can keep the show running. Kyle Pitts is pretty much officially a bust and I am unsure of whether to try and fleece a team by trading him (only viable if compensation is good and like come on, let's not kid ourselves, right now he's not fetching any more than a day 3 pick in return) or have him play out the last year of his deal to give him one last chance to turn things around if he actually has the same QB for an entire season again (he hasn't since Matt Ryan's last year, which incidentally was also Kyle's rookie season where he almost set a record in receptions and receiving yards for rookie TEs). After that he had a half season of Mariota, the other half with Ridder. Then half a season of Ridder and another half with Taylor Heinicke and finally this season where, even at Kirk's best, Kyle still hasn't really managed to produce above his previous two seasons under Arthur Smith. Maybe Smith had the right idea all along honestly. Okay, I wouldn't go that far but he might have been right about Kyle and while he does seem to be wrong about how he used, or rather refused to use, Bijan Robinson as a feature back, which is what you draft Bijan to do and what he's doing and exceeding at right now (top 2 running back in the league anyone? like literally he is statistically more effective than Saquon Barkley, despite having fewer rushing yards...). But look at some of Smith's other favorites and go-to guys. Jonnu Smith? Top 5 Tight End this year for some reason, good job Mike McDaniel, I guess? Mack Hollins? Balling out in Buffalo catching balls everywhere across the field from Joshua "driving naked is fun" Allen, while refusing to wear shoes off the field. Meanwhile Kyle Pitts is barely better than #2 guy Charlie Woerner who fyi has better pass- and run-blocking numbers by a LOT compared to Pitts and isn't that far behind him in receiving. Clearly we were just a tad too harsh on Arthur Smith, given that he had the right idea about those two guys and, just as a reminder, had to deal with Desmond Ridder as his primary QB option for most of his tenure. Sure, he drafted him. But for one, some of that onus also falls on Terry Fontenot, who I still think might lose his job this year, deserved or not. Also, look at the rest of that shoddy 2022 QB class. Granted, Kenny Picket looks half decent with Philly right now but he also hasn't played any real defenses yet and has one of the most purely talented offenses in the league around him. Then there's the Brock Purdy of it all and I just don't trust Shanahan QBs in the slightest. Show me Brock performing well outside of that scheme and we can talk. Specifically show me Brock playing in Arthur Smith's system at that point. Other than that it was literally just Malik Willis who seems poised to take over the role of Josh Dobbs in the league, minus the rocket science degree. The rest of them are literally no longer even in the league, neither was Ridder at one point this year and frankly maybe he shouldn't be.
Why fire Mayo? I mean I didn’t like the hire much at the time but this is pretty much exactly what everyone expected from such a bad roster. I wouldn’t have hired him in the first place but I don’t think he’s shown anything to change the opinions on him.
I’ll stand by this but I think the bengals biggest problem is not the defense. Yes the defense is bad but how can you expect them to play well when they’re always on the field. Bengals do not have a run game whatsoever, they have no ability to take time off the clock and rest the defense. The broncos game last week was a perfect example, if the bengals had just run the ball and let time go down Denver would’ve never had a shot to come back. Instead they scored, gave the ball back to an offense that was doing well with a tired defense. Kinda getting tired of everyone talking about burrows numbers when the entire offense is burrow, tee, and chase. Lamar has almost just as many passing yards with less interceptions all while Henry is second for rushing yards.
You are effectively saying it's the offense fault for scoring too quickly, and too often. The run game isn't crazy, but chase brown full season as starter should help. The defense is just AWFUL. They should try to grab a disgruntled sauce Gardner and a dawg up front on the D Line. You can't run the ball when EVERY game is a shootout
They have chase brown run the ball, and they were originally planning to do what you suggested, which was run the clock down with the run game and then kick a field goal. However when chase brown intentionally did not score a touchdown he got injured and that is why theu decided to do what they did.
“Failed expectations” is the Falcons middle name. I will always think Atlanta wants stability at QB and people knew Minnesota needed a QB even with Sam Darnold. The Penix pick caught the world by surprise and I always thought if Atlanta didn’t have that foil at QB. A team would have traded up like Vegas or New Orleans who both had interest in QB.
Burrow lacking defensive support is the same shit Justin Herbert has dealt with most of his career until Harbaugh which is sad to see. Hopefully, the Bengals can get the right support so that spectacular seasons like this from him aren’t wasted. Both of those guys are very talented.
4:59 it’s insane how you can pin the blame on the oline when the qb has only played 1 full season. The entire offense is built around Tuas limitations. That’s why we get the ball out quick
Not sure how you can look at the O-Line and think yea this is fine. Run game for much of the season has been nonexistent and that's because as of right now they have maybe 2 legit starters one of whom Armstead is hurt all the time. And if you think they get rid of the ball so quick just due to Tua then I would imagine you have never looked at the PFF grades for the O-Line in pass protection. Pretty sure Armstead is the only one with a pass block grade higher than 68. What do you think the Dolphins pass the ball quick because they have zero interest in giving Tua plenty of time in the pocket and allowing Hill, Waddle and Smith to have a longer time working to get open.
@ kindly show me where I said the oline is fine? Cause you won’t find it. I don’t get why people always argue against something that’s never said. I’ve looked at all the pff grades, I’ve also heard all the press conferences with tua mmd and Grier saying that they want brewer Jackson and eich here long time. They developed this oline to match our offense play style which is the entire reason we have MMD. He said he would develop an offense on Tuas best plays, when teams started playing 2 high safety and took the “deep” ball away that only left intermediate over the middle, screens and check downs. Our pass game many times is just extension of our run game with all the set ups to achane. additionally we don’t have a power back to run between the tackles becuase mmd and grier don’t know how to team build around these terrible contracts. We constantly draw up pitch plays and never adjust. But let’s blame the OLine, not the underlying problems of building a team around an injury prone huge contract players and end up 9-8 next year too when we over pay another injury prone tackle
@@wisewolftony additionally if you knew anything about the dolphins you’d know we’re a heavy script team, we rely on our fast players to beat their man to get to the spot tua expected them to be on time. Take that away, tuas throwing balls to spots with defenders in them, or diving head first because he can’t improvise on the fly and he tries to do heroics which would be fine for just about any other qb, but not him. Which is a problem in itself.
@pmahomesenjoyer funny give Lamar a HOF RB and he has a worse record, in a weaker division with the same "MVP year" he had last year.... Give Allen about the same team as last year and his number were about the same in a joke of a division... Maybe 2 QBs playing (Mahomes and Burrow and look at Cinny record 8-8 with about the same weapons and almost the exact same weak defense.. and I'm still willing to say that deserve an MVP over Goff) could do about what Goff is doing with a defense giving up 33 points the last 4-6 games, 17 players on IR, a top RB out in a division where the top teams are a combined 38-8 with 6 loses in the division itself and Goff is setting records while doing it
The Bangles are the Miami hurricanes of the NFL. G Wilson is Scary Terry 2.0 when it comes to QB play. The Commanders should trade picks in a weak draft for G Wilson IF they get Lattimore back. They should take a flyer on J Phillips from the Dolphins or Greg Rousseau too.
Nobody ever acknowledges how that bengals offense rarely comes through when they’re needed the most and that’s why they lose alot of games. They aren’t he first offense to have a bad defense. In their own division the Ravens had the worst defense and special teams by many measures for the first 10-12 weeks , and we’re still sitting at 7+ wins. In both Ravens Bengals games, the Ravens had less late game mistakes. Not to diminish the season Burrow and company are having, but football isn’t so simple. A average defense would win them more games, but that offense ain’t flawless
Man the 2024 Bengals are the most snakebit team I seen in my opinion since the Philip Rivers 2010 Chargers. That team had both a good offense and defense. Their downfall is on special teams. I think the Bengals regret not resigning Jesse Bates. I think they hold onto DC Lou though.
Why is Joe Burrow getting a pass for how the Bengals started the season?? If he beat the Patriots week 1 (who have the 1st pick rn) they’d be a playoff team… Seahawks don’t even have a chance to make the playoffs and all I hear is ‘they should’ve taken care of business at home vs the Giants’ Yes he’s been putting up great numbers the past 8 games partially because the defense is so bad. If the defense was better he wouldn’t have as many yards/tds
I feel bad for Joe Burrow and Chase for the season’s their having! If the bengals were a better team Burrow would 1000% win MVP! Probably going to Lamar or Allan!
NFC champions to a 6-10 record deserves a mention even if the whole team was injured, Aiyuk got paid and was pretty horrible before getting hurt, Deebo has been awful all year, our kicker can't make a kick, Brock's regressed but also one of the only bright spots, and Kyle Shanahan kept blowing games, and I don't think there's a worse 3rd down defense in the NFL cause we play soft zone all the time. this season is miles worse than that 2020 season cause that team never had a chance to be good, this one should be at least 10-6 and in contention for the division. now who knows if the niners will be good in 2025.
As a dolphins fan, I have been questioning what the dolphins have been doing for 3 years now. Tua is not a bad qb. In fact I think he is a great qb. But the rest of the team isn’t good enough to win more than 1 playoff game with him there. For as long as tua is on the dolphins payroll, I don’t see them winning more than 1 playoff game ever. We need a hard reset. Trade tyreek maybe make tua the backup and draft a new qb. I wouldn’t wanna trade tua just for him to go somewhere else and continue playing and making his future cte even worse. I love tua, genuinely seems like a great dude. That’s why I want the best for him. What’s 200 million dollars if you can’t recognize your family
They don't need a hard reset they have everything they need besides an O-Line. Have a defense that has been top 10 all season despite not having their top 2 edge rushers for like 90% of the season and a secondary that has been banged up all season. And they have plenty of weapons on offense with Hill, Waddle, Smith and Achane. Seen this team go through about 5 different resets in the last 20 years so last thing I want to see is the team do that yet again which could result in waiting another 20 years before they have a team that is good enough to do anything. All they need to do is cut Chubb in the off season use the 20 mil in his cap space to sign either 2 guards or 1 guard and 1 tackle and then use the 1st round draft pick to pick up the best guard or tackle on the board. Do that and they should have a solid O-Line with 3 new additions they can put in along with a returning Brewer and Jackson.
@@milesmcmullin2053 They don't need Hill and the money if traded he would free up would be much better for the team than keeping him around. Dude wasn't even that good this season with all the drops and poor routes he ran along with quitting on the team. Offense moved the ball pretty well even without him going for any big plays this season. So no need to keep him around trade him sign a WR who has a bigger body and they can have just as productive of a year then Hill had this season. And then use the rest of the money to revamp the O-Line. IDK if they can win a SB with Tua but I do know it took them 20+ years to find a QB at Tua's level so last thing I need is watching another possible 20+ years where they go through 15 starting QB's over that time only for all of them to be shit.
Everything starts and ends with both the Offensive and Defensive linesmen. Cincinnati had a questionable O-Line and a poor D-Line at the beginning of the season. The Bears had a horrible O-Line and it lead to Caleb Williams being sacked more than any other QB this season…4-12. Texans had an O-Line that was awful and CJ Stroud came in second for most times Sacked. Only one NFL team out of 32 can Win it all…so they have to be lucky to avoid injuries or overcome them by the end of season.
As a dolphins fan I am in pain it was obvious last year we needed to get bigger up front. And what did Grier do? Just let it get worse and sign the liabilities poyer and fuller. He legit took the worst approach possible. Nu and Calais have been amazing no doubt but to me that seems to be more a product of environment with them just being in spots were we have been shallow on the depth chart for years .
@ same. Very exited for your analysis tho, got into Football over the last two years (I’m from Germany) and your videos have been an amazing way to gain a deeper understanding of the game and therefore improving my viewing experience. Keep up the amazing work.
Gotta be the Titans for wasting a semi talented roster by going 3-13 because of horrible on field coaching decisions and non complementary schemes on offense, refusal to fire the worst ST coach in history, yet already tell the public they’ll keep Callahan and probably win against Texans backups and fall to a 7th overall pick. Bengals offense got even better without Callahan. He literally has nothing going for him. What is wrong with my team.
More than likely Penix develops, Atlanta reaches the playoffs and they will go through what happened with Kyle Shanahan. They will choose Raheem over Zac Robinson

How do u not talk about the bears they are single handedly the biggest disappointment maybe besides the jets I would argue that some people overhyped the bears but even if u just look at the record last year 7-10 this year gonna finish 4-13
Kinda wrong to put Joe on the thumbnail as a "biggest loser".....i mean yes his team is a major letdown but Joe Cool 😎 has been awesome. He cant play defense too
Far from the most punished fans, but one set of big losers that has to be mentioned is Seahawks fans. We are not a cursed franchise, but there's certainly a stinging sensation for Seattle sports fans in this decade so far. For the Seahawks, we have seen our team have a winning record 3 seasons in a row, but it all come down to things to happen to a *different* team when it came to our playoff hopes. 3 years ago we got to thank the Lions for giving us a playoff appearance, but the past two years we've had to set up dominos and someone bumped the table causing them to topple over without the proper chain reaction. It goes worse for the Seattle portion, who got their expansion hockey team who has been... iffy. Not quite too great but showing some promise, and our baseball franchise who last year also had a winning record but no playoffs to show for it. We're big losers in we're suffering from our team performing without results. Which again, not to argue that we suffer more than a lot of other franchises, especially in football, as there are plenty of teams who do not have a Super Bowl win in their lifetime.
Maybe a hot take, but I think Joe Burrow needs more blame on there season as well. It is unacceptable for his starts to the season to be so slow. That loss to the patriots was disgusting
Joe Burrow has been playing well, but it's easy to pile on statistics when your defense sucks. Nobody was calling Dak Prescott the uncrowned MVP when he threw for almost 5000 yards on a middling team in 2019.
People seem to be able to recognize 'garbage-time' numbers when it's Dak Prescott, Blake Bortles, or Jameis Winston accumulating them. If the Bengals defense were better it would be impossible for Burrow to post the same numbers because he'd have less possessions and less need to constantly push the ball.
100% every since the bengals fairy tale Super Bowl run the media and entire nfl fanbase wants to praise joe burrow like he’s the next coming of Christ. Like yes he’s elite, but why do people act like he’s perfect and has never costed his team a game? He deserves just as much criticism as any other qb would get if they had game costing turnovers, but nobody says a thing because it’s their golden boy joe burrow
Cowboys are the biggest losers lol they should have a way higher draft pick but they decided to win games for some reason when dak got hurt lol this team only beats bums and now that the cowboys have a average record Jerry will hire McCarthy instead of like a Ben Johnson 😂😂😂
No they can’t😂. There isn’t even a hypothetical scenario that exists where the MIAMI based dolphins go to 2 seed Buffalo and 1 seed KC and get insane back to back upsets in freezing conditions. Let alone go to Baltimore after and beat whatever team comes from the NFC
@@deemity7557what you described.. is hypothetically a “what-if” scenario, because it theoretically COULD happen and is within the scope of realism; aka anyone could beat anybody in a one and done playoff structure, which could even be luck. I agree that it more than likely won’t happen, as we know how Miami plays not only against teams with winning records, but also teams that are in predominantly cold areas, horribly.
Didn't joe burrow miss some time this year due to injury ? I swore he did. If he did and still have 4641 passing yards and 42 touchdowns is nuts. Almost think he should be the league mvp based on how awful the Bengals would be without him. Would they have won a single game
Burrow promised that he would take less $$$ if that's what it took to keep both wide outs. He lied. He knows how Cincinnati does business. They don't spend and won't pay both. Nobody wants to come there either. You have to keep the good draft picks. He took the money and is happy whether they win or not.
Who do you think is the biggest loser from the 2024 NFL season? 🤔
Definitely Jets I think.
Definitely the jets based on expectations. With the Bengals being right behind them
The Bengals should draft 7 defensive players in the draft unless they draft 1 or 2 offensive lineman. The bears should draft 7 offensive lineman even if some of them are backups. @@jdday1757
I think other than who you covered in this video, I got the 49ers.
Jets
Joe Burrow and Jamar are 100000% the biggest losers. MVP season and OPOY triple crown reciever just for 8-8 and it's not even their fault
They played a role to. That Baltimore game was decided by a pick on a throw to chase. Burrows fumbled a game away, sure I line is part. But being a 1 dimensional offense with no ground game is gonna make your defense gassed.
The Bengals are Newton's Third Law equal and opposite reaction to the '77 Falcons.

I'm a Washington fan. I want to thank your coach for handing us the game😂

Great update Homie ! I always enjoy listening to your podcast! “Happy New Years” 🏈
Been subbed for about a year or so and thank you man! One of the reasons I’ve been enjoying watching football and keeping up with the sport year round!! Happy New Year’s!
Man would I like for the Skins to trade for Garrett Wilson. That would elevate both Jayden and our receiving core.
Jags and Jets being both consistently and inconsistently bad makes me wonder if they're cursed
Longtime Dolphins fan here. Definitely need to improve the o-line. Also they should consider getting a veteran backup QB.

Leaving us at that position with basically the two positive surprises of this season:
Arnold Ebiketie at Edge (I always believed in that kid, I really did, so proud of him)
and Zach Harrison on the interior,
both of whom at least consistently perform as top 40s in their given positions (unlike any other D-line player on the team, not counting Grady and Big Dave, neither of whom will be back next year).
The Patriots will be losers if they don’t fire Mayo. The Browns as well because of how badly their defense let them down
Why fire Mayo?
100%
Reminds me a lot of the Stafford Lions where their inability to kill the clock in the 4th turned a handful of surefire wins into losses.
They had no business drafting chase over Sewell.
They have chase brown run the ball, and they were originally planning to do what you suggested, which was run the clock down with the run game and then kick a field goal. However when chase brown intentionally did not score a touchdown he got injured and that is why theu decided to do what they did.
Happy New Year, big homie.
Happy New Year!!!

The Detroit Lions' team medical staff. Sure, they're winning on the field, but who's their team physician? Dr. Nick Riviera?
"Hi everybody!"
"Hi doctor Nick"
Raheem Morris has a career record of 29-46. He as lucky to get the Falcons HC job, but has done nothing to deserve keeping it.
Most of that time was during the early 2010's with Josh Freeman. Id take that with a grain of salt
Goff is the MVP but if Cinny gets in the playoffs Burrow deserves the award
goff? if you give any good QB that team they would win the same amount of games
Gus Bradley and Chris Ballard not ending up in this video is a miracle
Man the 2024 Bengals are the most snakebit team I seen in my opinion since the Philip Rivers 2010 Chargers. That team had both a good offense and defense. Their downfall is on special teams. I think the Bengals regret not resigning Jesse Bates. I think they hold onto DC Lou though.
Why is Joe Burrow getting a pass for how the Bengals started the season?? If he beat the Patriots week 1 (who have the 1st pick rn) they’d be a playoff team… Seahawks don’t even have a chance to make the playoffs and all I hear is ‘they should’ve taken care of business at home vs the Giants’
Yes he’s been putting up great numbers the past 8 games partially because the defense is so bad. If the defense was better he wouldn’t have as many yards/tds
Bears giants 49ers and jets should be the list😭

@ you really think we can win a Super Bowl with Tua? Cuz I just don’t see it. And Hill wants out and wouldn’t be shocked if he got his way
@@milesmcmullin2053 They don't need Hill and the money if traded he would free up would be much better for the team than keeping him around.

Joe Burrow has been playing well, but it's easy to pile on statistics when your defense sucks. Nobody was calling Dak Prescott the uncrowned MVP when he threw for almost 5000 yards on a middling team in 2019.
Makes no sense what you just said.
Didn't joe burrow miss some time this year due to injury ? I swore he did. If he did and still have 4641 passing yards and 42 touchdowns is nuts. Almost think he should be the league mvp based on how awful the Bengals would be without him. Would they have won a single game
Na not this season
No he was not injured@!!
Hey buddy why you making stuff up this was last year
Can Rodgers me done now? I'm so sick of him
Burrow promised that he would take less $$$ if that's what it took to keep both wide outs. He lied. He knows how Cincinnati does business. They don't spend and won't pay both. Nobody wants to come there either. You have to keep the good draft picks. He took the money and is happy whether they win or not.
