The view looked spectacular from the restaurant. Food looked fancy. The property has so many places to enjoy. We liked that outdoor Cafe for breakfast.
I really appreciate your informative vids on Aulani, I'm coming from Australia to visit in December myself, so learning and watching all your vids has me so excited and taught me a lot!
Hi Lisa and Bill - my wife and I have had the good fortune of visiting Hawaii from our Midwest home on multiple occasions but we always seem to get good suggestions from your TH-cam videos. We especially enjoy your down to earth style of presenting the information you have to share. There are several other Hawaii podcasts we watch regularly but yours are our favorite. Mahalo!
What a beautiful breathtaking view! That price for those portions I don't know. Even though it seems like everybody was delicious. Thank you for sharing again.
Thanks for the great video. I have this booked for our first night at Aulani. The presentation and service reminds of Disney Cruise adult only restaurants. I moved my reservation up a half after you mentioned the sunset. The price is pretty good for Hawaii, a resort and the high end experience. I live in NJ and a nice dinner here with 3 course can run a $100 person with one cocktail. The view at AMA AMA is spectacular.🌴😎👍🏻
The views, the food, the presentation. All worth the price IMO. The portion is what we are supposed to eat but, of course, we always overdo.😋 Still thinking about that sunset. So beautiful!!!!
Hmmm. The food looked delicious though almost tapas-sized portions, and the view was wonderful, but I think Iʻd rather dine at Royʻs Ko Olina. The dishes have that Hawaiian-Asian flair that Roy Yamaguchi is known for, at maybe 2/3 the price and a little more substantial portions. I canʻt remember if you did a vlog at Royʻs, but you should next time you go to Ko Olina (or any other Royʻs restaurant). I havenʻt been to the Ko Olina restaurant for many years, but I have always enjoyed my meals at Royʻs since his first restaurant opened in Hawaiʻi Kai. I just keep thinking the Aulani food prices might be acceptable for tourists staying there on a special vacation, but as a local resident, I doubt I would go out there and spend that much to eat there.
What a beautiful property🥰 Hopefully this 70 year old born and raised in Hawaii will be able to stay there once🤣 in my lifetime. Live in Kaneohe and have been to that side for years. Thank you again Bill and Lisa. You are so fortunate to be able to travel and enjoy all that wonderful food. Take care. Love and blessings❤️🙏🌺❤️
The both of you enjoying the experience there made it worth it. The view alone was so beautiful. So funny you said it was not fulfilling. I thought the same thing. I kept thinking load up on the bread lol. Thank you for sharing because I will never get to experience that. Take care guys.
I would say being from the island and having eaten as places in the area it’s not completely out of the ballpark to pay $125/person for a 4 course meal like that but I think the portions were a bit small. Next door at Four Season’s there’s a place called Noe that has a 4 course meal at the same price but the portion is pretty substantial. We’ve gone there multiple times and enjoy it a lot.
😂I watch every post you load on TH-cam. I LOVED this one, mainly because Bill was brutally honest, unpretentious, and funny!!! We just moved to Honolulu 6 months ago, and have yet to visit the Aulani Resort. Thank you for showing us their resort. Happy and safe travels to an awesome couple!
Hi Bill and Lisa, thanks for sharing another well-done video. A thought just popped in my head. Which do you consider the better value, the Ama Ama restaurant or Sierra Buffet at Universal City Hilton for $150?
Oh man, Bill was cracking me up with some of his comments in this episode! I finally got around to ordering one of you guys’ teeshirt so excited to wear it! Your podcast is a top fave of mine I tell all my ppl about you two ❤.
It's definitely worth it. The experience of fine dining, eclectic dishes you can't get elsewhere, not to mention the impeccable service you received. A win win!! ❤😊😊
Id love to go to that place! it looks magical and what a view there was from the restaurant 😍wow amazing. You are both so lucky to be able to experience everything about travelling and great food. Thank you for sharing xx
Hi Bill and Lisa! I’m planing my first ever trip to Hawaii flying out of LAX and I’m thinking of flying Hawaiian Airlines. Have you guys flown before or have an airline recommendation? I’ll be doing basic economy.
Aloha from Canada!! Hubby and I just wanted to say Thank you as your Waikiki vlogs helped plan our 40 th anniversary trip to Hawaii. We so enjoyed going to the Monkey Pod at the Outrigger Reef ,Dukes ,the Pu Pu House and the Steak Shack !! We love all your vlogs, and just love how down to earth you are! Could you give my daughter Keesha and I a shoutout? Mahalo Kim
The view is 😍 amazing. Amateurs🍹🍹🤣🤣 but authentic. That is one elevated menu...the French influence is very pronounced in its presentation but the ingredients are very Hawaiian. Nice restaurant.
Aloha Howzit Bill&Lisa 🏝 just love love your Aloha wears! Amazing Ono dishes and yumyum desserts😋 Beautiful Hawaii Nei sunset🌅 cant wait to see your Waiks adventures 🏖 see yall on da next one guys💕🤙
Wow, $125 per person and the portions are sooo small esp Bill’s rib eye steak with 2 small pieces weighing about 2 oz each. Lots of fillers with potato and veggies on the plate. I’m disappointed with Disney. ESP if you’re paying so much money 23:56 for dinner. Give a decent amount of portion size! But thank you for sharing and posting! Aloha!🌺
Another great video!!!❤❤ aloha to you guys😊😊😊 everything looked good. I don't like chocolate with fruit either but your dessert did look really good😊😊 best part of a meal 😋 such a nice restaurant with a view!!❤❤❤ the view of the sky and palm trees look like a postcard!!!!! Glad you had a fun adventure❤❤❤❤
Surprised the appetizer bowl didn’t have a serving plate underneath it, would have been more classy considering the prices. The butternut squash soup looked really good!
Hi Bill! Hi Lisa! Wow! Wow! What a beautiful location and what an amazing dinner! Thanks to you both, I’m now looking at the Aulani Resort as our next location, when we go back to Hawaii-hopefully, next year. Your dinner at ‘AMA’AMA looked so delicious! Thank you for sharing! I would need to do some research as to how they would handle those that have shellfish allergies. I wanted to share something with you both……My girlfriend and her family, my husband and I were at Knott’s a couple of days ago, for the Boysenberry Festival. I immediately thought of you folks, when we were there, as that was where I met you both a couple of years back. What an exciting time that was for me. 😊 Thank you again for always sharing such awesome travel and food vlogs with us! Your honesty is always appreciated! ❤ Could I bother you both for a shoutout for our son (Josh)? He’s a newly appointed attorney up in Oregon. We are so proud and so happy for him. After this last family reunion trip to Hawaii, his goal is to hopefully end up practicing law in Hawaii one day. 😊 Can you imagine? Sigh…… Praying that he gets to live his dream life. Take care! Blessings to you both always!
Hi Mary! Yes! Great meeting you at knotts that time. We would like to check out the festival, but other trips are popping up. lol You’ll love the Aulani resort! Hope you get to check it out. For sure on the shoutout. Look for it in a couple weeks, after the upcoming LA eats vlogs. Big congrats to Josh!!
It almost seems like this meal was complimentary with your stay and reputation. Dishes sounded and looked ok, but it seems the allure of the view is what brings people there to dine. It’s kind of funny to see giant plates being filled with tiny portions for every dish though.
Hi Bell and Lisa I think what dish stood out to me was the shrimp soup on the chocolate dessert sorry Bill you're entree stick look like the making up pieces to put in your plate portion size ridiculous to me if I peeing that amount of money and I go to a high-end restaurant when I came out I want to be satisfied all different ways 100% this is just my humble opinion 125 for one person is almost 1,000 TT d 😊😊😊
It seems that the more expensive a restaurant is, the smaller the portions. I think for that price they should have been more generous with the portions. Who wants to pay that much and leave feeling hungry. I enjoy all your reviews and scenes of Hawaii.
Is that food quality? Organic produce, wild caught sea food, grass fed cows etc? Or is it conventional products that are straight up low quality and yet they charge outrageous prices? 🤔
Finally getting around to watching this as we were away traveling. Thanks for the shoutout!
You're welcome! Hope you guys had a great time!
Food was beautiful, I also enjoyed the scenic views.
A very nice place for a special occasion. The presentation of the food was impressive. Thank you Bill and Lisa for sharing with us ❤
Glad you enjoyed it, S! Thanks for watching!
The view looked spectacular from the restaurant. Food looked fancy. The property has so many places to enjoy. We liked that outdoor Cafe for breakfast.
Yes it was! Lots of eating options there, and across the street too.
Wow, that view at the 5 minute mark. Stunning 🤩
The mocktail intro 😂❤
Beautiful scenery to eat by. Looked very relaxing. Thanx for sharing. Safe travels.
Our pleasure!

We appreciate that, Steve. Thank you!
Omg! Huge plates with small portions of food in the middle 🤣.. that’s a real fancy place.
Wow that sky and scenery to Bill's right is SPECTACULAR ❤ the coffee is the highlight lol
A good place for special Anniversary or Birthday. It was nice that they let you video.
Amateurs? Hardly! You two are the best! What a gorgeous view, like a post card. I bet that Disney storyteller LOVES his job!
Thank you so much! Bet he does, they look very passionate about what they do.
Thank you very much for sharing our resort in a very beautiful way❤
Anytime! You're very welcome!
That looked beautiful- delicious and fun! Thanks for sharing!
7:11 Your smiles are contagious. Thank you for making me jealous…..again! 😂
Any time, Wil! LOL. Thank you and Iris for watching!

Our pleasure!
What a beautiful breathtaking view! That price for those portions I don't know. Even though it seems like everybody was delicious. Thank you for sharing again.
A special place for an Anniversary or Birthday ❤ Will have to try!
Thanks for this video!🎉
Thanks for watching!

So beautiful - the view!
I envy your date night.
I laughed when Lisa wanted to take the towels. 😂😂
Lisa's blouse is gorgeous!
Thank you!
The views, the food, the presentation. All worth the price IMO. The portion is what we are supposed to eat but, of course, we always overdo.😋
Still thinking about that sunset. So beautiful!!!!
Well said! Especially coming from the Bacchanal. lol
So beautiful...Thank you for another lovely vlog
Great video...everything looked amazingly delicious...enjoy, safe travels and God Bless 😘🤗❤
The presentation of the food was spot on. What a nice treat in a beautiful place.
The cost of eating out in a beautiful restaurant and watching the sunset is well worth the price!
It was a wonderful dining experience for sure. =)
I just love this couple!
Thank you for taking us to all the wonderful places
You're very welcome, Jennie!

Wow, what a beautiful sunset, and yes Bill, you looked hot in that sunset shot!! LOL, Melaney from SoCal
Oh thank you!! lol

Wonderful meal, yes a bit pricey, but what the heck? You’ve got to try it at least once❤❤and the sunset was beautiful. Hawaii is a place like no other

We appreciate that, Asuncion. Thank you so much for watching our vlogs. Do check out the Aulani, we're sure you'll love strolling around the property.
Hi Bill and Lisa, thanks for sharing another well-done video. A thought just popped in my head. Which do you consider the better value, the Ama Ama restaurant or Sierra Buffet at Universal City Hilton for $150?
Ama Ama for sure. Though not a buffet, the setting and views are breathtaking.
Oh man, Bill was cracking me up with some of his comments in this episode! I finally got around to ordering one of you guys’ teeshirt so excited to wear it! Your podcast is a top fave of mine I tell all my ppl about you two ❤.
Awesome! Thank you for the support!
You bet! ❤
That view is unbelievable!!
Very cute top Lisa, good colors on you.
Thank you so much!
You traded mocktails! The view is incredible!
😊 YES!!! And, You Folk's added a very nice touch to it all 😃😁.
👋👌🤙👍☝️👏🙏
Bill and Lisa check out Four Seasons on Oahu at Ko'olina. They have a restaurant named Mina's Fish House at this restaurant they have fish sommeliers.
Yes, we walked by it, shares the same walkway as the Aulani. Looks really good, we'll have to give them a try.
Can we use the pool/ lazy river if you’re not a guest
No. Resort amenities are reserved for guests only.
Mahalo for visiting.
I’m new to the channel. You two seem like lovely people. Great episode.🤩❤️
Thank you so much! Welcome to our channel. 😃
‘Cheers babe’ ❤
It's definitely worth it. The experience of fine dining, eclectic dishes you can't get elsewhere, not to mention the impeccable service you received. A win win!! ❤😊😊
Love you guys! ❤
The coffee! ❤. Lovely dinner and setting. Totally worth it for the quality, service and setting. You get much less in large cities for more $
Way overpriced, where did you go for dinner after that snack?
I know, I was craving a burger after watching that.
It's a Disney property, in Hawaii and everything looks delicious.
As Bill would say, "Where's its Mama?"
Quality vs quantity 🤷♀️
Guess you’ll never experience it cause your cheap
Id love to go to that place! it looks magical and what a view there was from the restaurant 😍wow amazing. You are both so lucky to be able to experience everything about travelling and great food. Thank you for sharing xx
You're very welcome, Angie! It was a wonderful dining experience.
Yes it’s worth it. ❤
Hi Bill and Lisa! I’m planing my first ever trip to Hawaii flying out of LAX and I’m thinking of flying Hawaiian Airlines. Have you guys flown before or have an airline recommendation? I’ll be doing basic economy.
Hawaiian is great! You get a light meal served which is always nice.
Aloha from Canada!! Hubby and I just wanted to say Thank you as your Waikiki vlogs helped plan our 40 th anniversary trip to Hawaii. Bill does look stunning ❤
Oh thank you! lol
I would love to have dinner with you both, good company and good food!😊❤
Hi guys! Been missing you guys! I have been working so much that I literally crash when I get in from work. Hope you guys are doing great!
Doing great, Carol! Thanks for stopping by!
For around $400 including tip, drinks and parking I would pass
Lovely 😊
The view is 😍 amazing. Amateurs🍹🍹🤣🤣 but authentic. That is one elevated menu...the French influence is very pronounced in its presentation but the ingredients are very Hawaiian. Nice restaurant.
Well said! Thanks!
You should try Crouching Tiger restaurant on Oahu, north end. Delicious and very beautiful inside. Unique.😊
Thanks for the rec.
@@billandlisa you’re very welcome!😊
Aloha Howzit Bill&Lisa 🏝 just love love your Aloha wears! Amazing Ono dishes and yumyum desserts😋 Beautiful Hawaii Nei sunset🌅 cant wait to see your Waiks adventures 🏖 see yall on da next one guys💕🤙
Howzit! Thank you so much 🤗
For a very special occasion I would say it’s worth the hefty price. A glass of wine would’ve been very nice addition.
The tiny rich food. The fish looks good.
Fancy fancy

Thank you, Beverly! We had such an amazing view!
Really enjoyed the video. Food looked tasty. Bill, my wife likes your shirt and wants to know where you purchased it?
It was a limited edition print from Zippy's online store. Thanks!
Enjoy life!!
Hey Lisa!!!!! Hey Bill !!!!! ❤ 😊 Would you guys go there again?
Hey Daniel! We would love to take family here! So that would be a yes. lol
Surprised the appetizer bowl didn’t have a serving plate underneath it, would have been more classy considering the prices.
The butternut squash soup looked really good!
Plate was probably still in the dishwashing rack. lol
Nice to be treated special sometimes❤
The food looked really good, but, I was focused on the view. It looked like a painting. So beautiful...
So if you’re DVC, you still can’t get a room there last minute?
Only if available. In this case, no rooms left for the days of our stay.
Hi Bill! Hi Lisa! Wow! Wow! What a beautiful location and what an amazing dinner! The view is breathtaking but for the money I would much rather eat at Orchids, Halekulani. The buffet was absolutely incredible for $100 a person
We want to check out their brunch one day.
Nice
Steak looks rough when you cut it
Was tender. =)
Presentation looked nice, but where’s the rest of that ribeye? :(
"No, you can't take the towels." Rofl
It almost seems like this meal was complimentary with your stay and reputation. Dishes sounded and looked ok, but it seems the allure of the view is what brings people there to dine. It’s kind of funny to see giant plates being filled with tiny portions for every dish though.
We did pay, but with a Cast Member discount.
That steak looks good.
I’ll take basic over fancy pants names for things.
Kona ☕️☕️☕️
I think Duffy might be a subscriber :)
LOL!!

Scenery lovely ……over priced …😳 is an understatement…..
I hope you stayed outside the ropes at the DVC….😂😂😂
Hopefully that price will not be the price of a Big Mac meal in five years time.
Is that food quality? Organic produce, wild caught sea food, grass fed cows etc? Or is it conventional products that are straight up low quality and yet they charge outrageous prices? 🤔
Hi Guy’s
Hi Melissa!
👍🏽😊
