amazing video and thanks a lot for sharing!i haven't been to Hawaii but i've been to guam several times。there are lots of beautiful resorts there on the bay espically in tumon.
Thanks for all the information. Your family ("the children") are adorable. So glad you had a great time. I am taking my Dad here the end of April 2024, we are excited as we both love Disney.
Thank you for watching and commenting. Thank you for your kind words about our family. We hope the video helped you get prepared to make the most out of your Aulani experience. Have a great time in April!
Mahalo so much for watching! This was our second time there and it was our all-time favorite vacation. Next year we are trying an VRBO rental in Ko Olina to spend time exploring more of the island. What is your favorite part of Aulani?
@@FamilywithFour very hard to pick between the message spa and the lagoon . We had an amazing time . That lagoon sun set is priceless. The vibes are so relaxing . Going back for sure !!
Thank you for the video. I am taking my godson and his best friend for their high school graduation and first year of post high school education gift in May. Then next year I will be taking my sisters, brother in laws, parents and my 3 niblings. This was informative
The line up for the slides is very short during the first part of the morning but throughout the day the lines get progressively longer (and the lines get shorter again in the early evening). Because the sun has to climb in the sky during the morning, the waterslides are actually in the shade until mid to late morning and less people are swimming. During peak season the line can be over 30 minutes for each of the slide and you will also have to wait for a tube for sometimes 5 or 10 minutes as well plus the 30 minute wait for the tube slide.
It is called Paradise Cove Public Beach, about a 6 minute walk north from Aulani. You exit Aulani back to Aliinui Dr and walk until a large public parking lot, which you walk through and go down a pathway. We actually made another short video dedicated to our experience here that shows more of what you would expect and how to get there: th-cam.com/video/M0hYPWxVy58/w-d-xo.html
@@FamilywithFourI actually found the hidden Mickeys! But only some! I loved the slides but the tube ones always had a long line! This video really showed me some of the stuff I didn’t know so when I maybe go back I will check the stuff I learned in this vid!❤❤
We called the photography staff at (808) 674-6988 once we checked in to our room and they gave us the availability. On our stay, we were able to book the same day we called but availability may vary. We booked on the phone then had to pre-pay in person at the Pau Hana Room (this is the location of many activities including the iPad adventure, making Minnie mouse ears, etc.)
I really enjoyed your video! We are going to Oahu for my brothers wedding and I wanted to at least stay two nights at Aulani. Is that enough time? We’ll be traveling with our 2 & 5 year olds.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting! It's means a lot to us! Two nights, three full days should be enough time. I believe you can use the Waterpark the morning you check in so you could get extra time as your room probably won't be ready until 4pm but you can add 5+ hours on property by doing it this way. We loved the lu'au so you may want to book around the availability as it does book up if you want to have an amazing show! Ama Ama does book up as well but it was just above our budget. Your kids will have an amazing time we loved having ours there at those ages! If you have any questions we would be happy to answer!
@@msy7804 Room rates at Aulani start at about $450 usd per night and we booked during low season with a 30% discount special offer. Rates vary significantly based on room type and time of year. More information on cost can be found here: www.disneyaulani.com/
What is there to do for ages 2 and 13? We live on Oahu but still have yet to go… idk if it’s worth it for us due to the kids ages and we’ve lived in Hawaii since 2014…
We would say age 2 is on the younger end and age 13 may be on the older end, especially if your oldest isn't a big Disney fan. We have met locals on our time at Aulani that bring their kids to enjoy the waterpark area on special occasions like their birthdays. Our two year old liked the beach, water areas, and meeting the characters the most. Our oldest was 10 at the time and she liked the Lu'Au and waterslides the most. Activities that weren't in our video but could be fun would be ukulele lessons, stargazing, and making Mickey ears.
You are correct. The Aulani website definitely says ages 4-12 right now. When we went in January 2023 it was actually ages 5-12 (I just checked our registration form again). I know 2 years ago it was completely closed, before that the drop in times were open (like a cruise) and I believe then it was ages 3+. We did a Disney Cruise in November, and it was ages 3+ with a nursery for toddlers even younger than three. I guess, stay current and they may open the younger age group up. Let us know if you have other questions we can help clarify!
What a perfect thing to search to find us! So coincidental, it is also our name! Hope you enjoy the rest of your cruise and we will check out your channels! Thanks for messaging us!
Hello, thanks for the review! Very informative. I’m curious how you got a family of 6 in the 1 bedroom villa? We have 4 young kids as well and were hoping to stay in the 1 bedroom villa for cost and because we don’t need a 2 bedroom villa that sleeps 9 people… just wondering if you got any push back from the resort or issues getting 6 wristbands or anything like that? Thanks again
That is a great question and one of the reasons why we went when we did. Our fourth had to be aged 2 or younger to still fit in a 1 bedroom villa. Once he turns three, we would outgrow the ability to stay in this room size and would have to switch to a 2 bedroom (or just get two regular rooms). If we were to stay at Aulani again, we would most likely just get 2 regular rooms. This would be an important consideration as we did see Aulani management address staff who tried to get wristbands that exceeded the room limit. You would lose your own washer and dryer and kitchen doing this, but it should still be the cheapest way to stay at Aulani. We learned this age cutoff when we stayed two years ago and made sure we went one more time in the "sweetspot" of kids ages. Thank you for watching and don't hesitate to ask us for any other tips or tricks if you end up going!
We did miss it unfortunately it wasnt something our kids were interested during our time at Aulani! We are hoping to come back when our kids are a bit older to try it out. Do you recommend this activity?
He just turned three when we went on this trip. But we took him last year at 26 months as well, and he had a LOT of fun playing in the pools and at the beach. He also enjoyed meeting lots of characters!

Do the jelly fish hurt because i wonder if not to not get in the ocean

Not when it’s crowded. Yikes. Too loud toooo crazy!
