I am having a blast just feefarking around, killing big monsters, finding a ton of loot and totally ignoring the quests right now. I am watching my pawn's eyes like my mom used to when I was a teen.
You can actually get a cheaper house in Vernworth in the Common Quarter. A woman tells you that she needs someone to take care of the place while she is away, then when she returns she offers you the house at a very good price. Lovin this game!
Just played it for about 10 hours on PS5. No performance issues. This game is soooo good if you're into adventure games. It makes exploring fun and rewarding. You don't just go from point A to B. The journey is exciting and feels adventurous. The last time I felt this was in Elder Scrolls Oblivion.
No spoilers, but try to remember where you found your FIRST seeker token, write it down or place a marker on your map, I had a hell of a time trying to remember where I got my first one
Yeah, I'm having so much fun with it. People calling it shit clearly haven't played it and just want to cry online about something. The day we find a cure for cancer they will be online crying about it, I am sure. Outrage peddling is big money online. I think the mtx are for people who are not so good at games, a little leg up kind of thing since they are 100% unecessary and there is no difficulty setting. They would have more people onboard if their complaints were not so hyperbolic and found to be untrue or only partially true. Starfield actually did kind of suck, so the majority agrees, even people lile me who were super excited about it eventually came around, but DD2 is really fun so they are struggling to get everyone on board with them and their outrage, much like the Hogwart's drama, it is just stupid and overblown. None of the people crying on the internet are playing it, they are busy crying on the internet about it and oh look, I have a dragon to kill. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
Waited 12 years for Dragons Dogma 2, and Ive loved every minute of it, best character creation system ever, my dad died last year and now we can still adventure together
This game is freakn amazing. Fighting an ogre and stabbing him in his eye..buddy trashing about and runs right into a huge heavy branch and knocks his ass out. As he falling Im still stabbing him in his eye lol like a freakn movie😂
My gut told me to go in blind.. I played some of the first game tho so I have a little experience.. I’m doing fine against regular enemies but bosses I’m struggling.. It seems like either their health pools are enormous or they regenerate somehow
This game is very good, coming from someone who only gave the series a second chance just recently. I can tell you it has been a great decision to go back, I was missing out on two great games and the second only improves upon what the first laid down.
This game has to be one of the very select few of games that I can get that exploration dopamine hit from. Witcher 3, Zelda Tears of the kingdom, Skyrim, Fallout, and Baldur's gate 3 are good examples of games that provide the same high. Those who are not enjoying the game are separated into 2 camps. A) those rushing through the story and doing minimal side quests. Or B) those bitching about microtransactions and complaining about performance on PC. To be fair, I'm playing on PS5, so I can't vouche for PC performance. If you really want a game you can sink your teeth into and get absolutely absorbed into a world, then play dragons dogma 2. I can't remember the last time a videogame kept me awake until sunrise because I wanted to do "just a little more". I'm not kidding. I am in love with this game!
I'm about 10 hours in (maybe half way to the end) and so far I would give it a 6/10. Combat is pretty basic (larger monsters are fun though), story is average and the game just lacks overall polish, including mediocre performance in large towns and certain areas. Fore the game definitely isn't up to the same level as BG2, Elden Ring, Witcher 3 etc.
People should have been ignoring the entirety of this debacle of a game until they get either the performance up to snuff or get the price point to better reflect the product actually on display!
I want the developers to not screw over gamers with crappy performance and not even allowing them to start over a game. Those are 2 basic things we should all care about. And that ignores the MTX controversy. Just forking over our money when developers can’t do basic things right seems wrong to me. Not that I haven’t done it before, but we should learn and be better or this situation will never change. So I think the right way to do this in today’s world is see how the patches go. If the developers prove they are worthy of our money, I’ll consider giving it to them. Now if I was a fanboy of this series I get why people preorder or need to play it. But I’m talking about just random gamers.
(Skyrim) First-person games give you a navigational and touring experience, but third-person games do not. Dragon dogma2 is not a game worthy of respect because of this.
You do not need crafting materials on you to upgrade your equipment. It works from storage.
Something more games should do
Agree. It’s awesome. Loved it in the first DD
Like the first game.
only wyrmcrystals
I dislike having to take breaks or going to work. Interrupts the Arisen.

Yep, after one in game week, she will sell it to you for 20,000.

Be a lot better when they let us turn motion blur off.
@@rangerdave8418We can now.
Also if you like 30fps
@@rangerdave8418you can 😂
@@FatherDinny you couldn't in the release version, when I wrote this.
This game is absolutely fantastic.
Did this guy just sell a golden trove beetle! And he expects us to take his advice on the game 😂 5:16
Right! What the hell was that?
I'm loving this game. I am using the Mythical Spear Hand vocation and it's a fun fighting style. And the dragon's plague is a pain

I took a picture lol
There are guides to the first 80 tokens, just go through the first 10
The people calling this a shit game are missing out. 🤷🏻♂️ It’s not gonna be everyone’s cup of tea but still.
They're just mad over the micro transactions

This should've been called 15 things you figure out after an hour or two of gameplay
Combining items also keeps perishable ones from going bad.
You dont need items on you when shopping with a vendor. You can leave them in your chest at the Inn and still be eligible to uograde weapons.

Thanks for the info!
you saved my ass with the dragon plague!
Did I just see you sell a golden trove beetle?! smh
First thing you should ignore is the story, it literally falls flat on its face after the first 5 or so quests
Oh sweet. Thanks for the info. Ill start a new character right now…wait…
You can make a new character, look it up.
Dragons dogma 2 will definitely separate the wheat from the chaff, those games won't hold your hand..

Patch 1.1 is already addressing most of that...
'Most of that' ...except the performance and optimization issues. The game needed an another few months of development before a proper release.
I heard this game has dragon aids lmao
$70 for a single player game lol
Single player games are the only games that should be worth $70 lol…
I’m sure you spent $70 on worst things than a great game 😂
I didn’t even play the first game sooo why should I buy this game 😂 I have soo many games that I’m playing right now 😂
You sound like a child
How about the entire game? Can we ignore the entire game?
Not thanks I don't want to pay real cash for fast traveling, changing character and ng+.
You dont need to.
I will ignore the game until there is a 60fps on consoles
What a shame your missing out on a fun game that runs fine on console for me at least on PS5
Consoles are weak. Don't expect that
You’ll likely never play it then.
Naw, this ain’t a twitch shooter. Most don’t need 60fps to enjoy the game.
You get down with your bad self but, you're missing out on a really fun game then. I am having no problems and a ton of fun on Series X.
