- Just in another great collection of Redline Blister Packs. You know I am always looking for these early Hot Wheels in beautiful original blister packs. Hey we all are right? So whenever I get a chance to buy a nice larger collection I just have to do it. Join me as I open the box and see just what it is I am getting.

Gorgeous red line oldies. I love, love the older cars....the ones we had as kids. Really great box-packing too. I have to go to Peddler Malls here in Ky to get any older models in good condition. Thanks for the great video.
There was a time when they actually cared and gave a hoot about the quality. When it was all metal, the designs were bonkers and the cars were passed down generations. Now is all JDM frenzy, re tooled Porsches, scalper greed destroying the hobby and RLC QC issues. I've given up HW collecting this year and moved over to Mini GT but I still love some of the cars they release.

I have the Red Baron with the white interior
They remade the red baron with white interior so I get that question almost daily. Check the bottom for made in China that's the common model they made 100,000 of.

That’s funny you mentioned the guy from California selling the blue 32 fords that were defects. I bought a couple of them off of him at a hot wheel show at Cortez park. He had cases of them for $15 a piece back in 1993 or 94. The cars look like the rumble seat doors are real dark and flaking.
Those were the days! I thinknit was Roy Nakamura, he had those and VWs in Brown and Aqua. Did you go to the convention at the Holiday Inn?

Absolutely amazing!!! Do you happen to do appraisals? I have a 68 gold Camaro USA redline that I’m trying to figure if I got a good deal on. I know it’s listed as super rare but has few scuffs on top and few nicks here and there but pretty sweet car.

I buy collections from people who have their childhood hotwheels. They see my website and you tube channel andnthen they contact me and sell them to me. I've been an active buyer of collections since 1989.

@@bretthansen9658 This collection I bought for way too much. Had to pay eBay values on for each one because he was a fellow collector. Usually when buying from a person who was given old hot wheels that were stored and forgotten I can get a decent price break. I will usually pay whatever I have to to get Redline Blister packs.
Forgive my ignorance, but what is the little round 'wheel' button on side of the package? Does it serve a function?

That was a great find, in 2020 and have not found one that good since. Hot Wheels are so addictive and I love them all!!!!!

Just under $10,000. You can't get any decent blister pack for under $150 and the good stuff starts at $300 even if you buy from a non-collector. This collection came from a collector so I had to pay more than I would have liked to pay. This guy made a video of each car and had me make an offer on each one and if it wasnt what he wanted I had to go up. But I will buy any redline blister packs as long as I don't have to pay more than retail or auction values. A good rule of thumb is eBay value minus 20%. That was if you over do it you have enough room in the price to resell them on eBay and the fee is close to 20% on eBay. eBay the service always makes more on your sales than you do!

Do you get collections of Cougar's Barracudas, Chargers and Camaros?
No those are so scarce. And when.a collection has one they are common colors and used. To get real nice ones you have to go to a convention and see cars for sale from older collectors and estates selling.
i'd pay a lot just to get one of the sweet 16 in the original packaging.
