It’s great how just two years after this video was uploaded we don’t have to involve 3D printing technology anymore.
We can actually create a steak made of lab grown meat that does taste like meat, and it’s in fact meat at molecular level.
That was possible at the time already.

I'm curious, but what are they planning to do with the billions of cows, pigs, chicken and other animals that we're keeping just for meat? No-one's gonna upkeep them since that's gonna be a massive waste of money and we can't really let them live in wild since they are so used to a life without trying to get food. Also since now humans would be excluded from the food chain there would be massive overpopulation of certain species which could result in massive problems.

People already pointed out the probable taste thing with the 3D printed plant steak, but actually I'm more worried about the texture. That looks so thin and unappealing. Should be at least twice or thrice the thickness of that one, the kinda stuff where you can really bite off more than you can chew if you're not being careful. That thing I could just fold up and eat whole in one bite without an issue.
Now if it was meant to be chicken or pork sure, but beef? Gotta be thick, no question.
