When it comes to driving a Tesla then switching back to an ICE engine, there are glaring differences I've noticed that give the EV the nod. I love my Cadillac but this Tesla Model Y just might be the best vehicle I've ever driven and certainly the best for rideshare.

I don't think it's a good idea Vinny to drop down the X. The class of people you deal with the mentality is so much different. They don't respect your vehicle.

Damn y’all pay wayyyy too much. I charge at home for $0.14/kw. If you’re having to supercharge, then you’re losing out on a tremendous amount of money over time. It costs me less than $200/month to charge from home and I’m putting about 5,000 miles/month on the car right now.
@@VinnyKuzzif you have the ability to do so. Own your own Tesla and install an Autel charging system at your place of residence if possible. Save yourself the money and thank me later. If you’re paying $0.41/kw then I imagine it costs an extra $8-10 dollars just to supercharge for about 100mi of range. Mind boggling expense compared to at home. Adds up when it’s on a frequent basis.
The problem with this is they’re just not enough comfort rides to keep you busy. And I typically work in a very affluent area. Lots of businesses, hotels, business, travelers, shopping. But there still are not enough comfort rides to keep you busy. Doesn’t matter how much extra they pay if there’s only one or two per hour you still can’t make any money. And a lot of those well off people are actually kinda frugal so they use X instead. lol
Man I been spoiled with that FSD on the Tesla but lately constantly pivoting is a survival I appreciate shout out Vinny and Mario

I keep the same minimum $30/h active time for all categories, including x. Doing this since I bought the Tesla. The trick is not do x rides heading to bad spots.

I'm in fort lauderdale and I drive model Y, cand separate the lyft rides! Only offering the lyft,shared,extra comfort and green.
I cant choose which I want to do. Lyft try to giving me the cheap lyft and shard rides. Anybody has a same problem?
Here in Arizona a Black Tesla Model Y is considered Lyft Black tier.
I am a carnivore myself and a driver so I completely understand. Where you are coming from to stay on your diet while driving if you have a Wendy's in your area or any fast food burger spot where you can get the burgers ordered à la cart so you can get them for a better price.

Most of my rides are Comfort and Premier, I rarely get Comfort Electric (3 in 4 months)

Vinny..I hear you. I have a 2016 matte black model S P90d. I have unlimited supercharge for life of the car. The Tesla is worth it. Gas is still $6/gal here in California! Smh.

Can you separate UberX and Uber share? I can’t stand Uber share.
Did you buy your Uber brand new? Did you get the long range or performance Tesla? I’m considering renting an electric vehicle so I don’t pay for high gas prices… and take advantage of that $210 per month incentive by Uber promotion every 30 days… picking a minimum 200 pick up per month. Can you talk about that? Renting or buying a electric vehicle please?
I stop driving model 3 long range ..I now drive hybrid ..tired of waiting to charge 3 times a day and charging rates can be as high as 55kwh..u will loose money waiting to charge a ev period
I havent lost money yet charging but I can understand if your market is spread out or if you are doing tons of rides. Hybrids seem to be just as good, I'm just getting away of ICE engines for rideshare.

If you know what I know and you have the right coverage, particularly with the Tesla, I wouldn’t worry too much about taking any of those UberX shared Uber pet Uber any of that. Flip the script and earn more.
And Deleware, we get rematch pretty often however you can't get rematch with Pierre only comfort. Comfort in Philadelphia pays half less than Deleware. I don't bother unless it's going in my direction.
That's the other part, depending on what time and direction it's going.

The premier rematch works for me in miami airport but rarely at FTL Airport
I get them on comfort and Premier but only during certain times. Now that the queue has over 100 cars at most times, rematches might get tough. Used to be about 80% of the time i'd get rematched but now its like 20% SMH.
Miami slaps me with rematches LOL.
I agree, when i switch from Tesla to my gas ride its totally different. Including the controls. Seems like it takes 10 steps to start an leave the vehicle.
