150% true Vinny!!! Trip Radar and Lyft Comfort are some BS. But like you said, not our problem. I’m trying to get paid. If that means I have to cancel a ride on one app to get a more lucrative ride from the other….it is what it is. Uber and Lyft did this to themselves so it’s their problem!

Hell, my Uber Driver app asked me to take a picture sometimes three times throughout the day to verify it’s me.
Second phone with a photo supposedly fools the camera but i hear ya!!! I still don't know how they get away with it.

Stole a $300 bonus from me with 4 rides to go and only 1 hour online. Shut me off after 1 ride, Sunday morning, asked me to verify photo through the app, then denied me access, telling me it was either not me or a photo from another day. All cellphones have time date stamps. Called Uber Screwport and was told to try again in 24 hours. Bonus was totally stolen from me for no reason at all. Uber will do anything to manipulate the drivers to pay less and keep you on the road chasing dollars. Screwber SUCKS!!!

Eventually, those drivers will have a wake up call when the car breaks down or fuel/oil changes get too expensive to operate but when that happens, the rates for good drivers are so beat down that good drivers quit to do something else.
In Bay area gas around $5 , average home around $1500000 and Uber keep sending $4.20 orders , ok nice try 😂
I agree I used to be able to make easy $300 in a 12 hour shift, now I have to work my self to dead just to make $200 in the same time and I still do the same hours, the same amount of trips and the same miles a shift
And the apps will not care as they will continue to squeeze us down. Get your money and get out!

Since buying my Tesla Model 3, my tips have increased drastically, it's to the point where i get surprised if i DON'T get a tip lol. I only accept Comfort rides, UberX aint worth it AT ALL, unless there's a surge. Also i like how Tesla's been out over a decade, and people are still amazed to be driven in one. Love my M3, sexy as hell.
I drove a model 3 for 8 months I do like it..but I'm done with charging 3-4 times a day.im good with waiting for charging ✌️ especially when it's almost as expensive as gas 55 kwh
Uber has been favoring ev cars more than gas in their move to go green...Tesla cheap enough for anybody to afford just doing XRides
I am so convinced about the Tesla and not only for rideshare but for everyday driving. People will eventually see that it's just a car and not a political issue.

@@drivinginstyle1 UberX rides aint worth it even with a Tesla, the pay per mile just don't make sense. I'm fortunate enough where i live to get a lot of comfort rides, i aint wasting my time with x rides given the pay and quality of passenger, x passengers do not tip in my experience, comfort do, and i get great clients with comfort also.

Interesting point about fraudulent accounts, Vinny. I know it happens a lot here in Miami. I bet once a high profile case of an illegal immigrant driving for Uber kills an innocent person on the road. These companies will have to crack down.

For the sake of their businesses into the future, they HAVE to but for now they are on a money grab. They need to build up their reserves for when the house of cards falls.

I don't know what DriveWhip has planned but there are many markets that have drivers willing to rent for sure, they are trying LOL. Tampa is a market I will try very soon for a weekend just to see but I dislike that surge is just the hockey puck instead of the actual number.

lyft is changing things for what cars are extra comfort. vehicle list for lyft is getting updated april 30th
Every year around this time, new lists are released. Im sure they will be adding even lower cars as most drivers know Lyft extra comfort is lower than regular Lyft rides.

Question for u, I became Uber premier in miami but it does not show on the platform yet it only shows as an Uber x , I called u er support they on the new updates it won't show anymore as long as u have Uber x u be fine
Only Uber can add that on, maybe they are purposely taking it slow as they really don't want us only driving on the upper tiers. Keep calling them until they get it added!!

That Comfort Business is whack. I get them all the time but they do not meet my pay requirements. Its like a discount for business people and i can't be bothered with that. Yes, i keep it moving cuz its not my problem either if the pricing is messed up.

It all depends on your costs to drive as we are all different. TBH i don't think there is a real answer to that especially with the upfront fares. We don't have a benchmark other than what OUR costs are so figure that number out and then we can come up with a better answer.

You are 1000% correct. We are simply a number to the ride share companies. I am out for ME only. I could give 2 shits about Lyft or Uber. Uber has been absolute PIGS at the Jersey shore recently. I am only taking comfort rides and am receiving less than 50% of the fare. Upfront pricing on Lyft is ridiculous too. Like you said, the surge is simply built in the price. I have turned down Lyft black rides because I know the pricing is bullshit. Thank god I am not feeding my family doing this shit.

Well, TBH Lyft is paying so bad on the Black platform these days it worse than LUX was sometimes but having that extra platform does help.
Uber has deactivated me permanently from their system. They stated that my "registration was fraudulent." My registration was issued by the Motor Vehicle Department of New Jersey. My appeal was denied. The deactivation process was issued by the Uber's Department of Documents. Do I have any other recourse?
I do not, not sure how any of that works other than they carry a heavy hand. Check with The Rideshare Professor as he claims to have ways to get drivers back on the apps. Im NOT endorsing him or his claims but maybe he can help.

The apps wouldn't care, its a drop of sand on the beach while the driver would be punished for canceling at the last second. Drivers need to focus on getting their money I feel.

So its $500/week with insurance plus charging (100% deductable) so while you need to earn at least $1k to $1.2 to make it make sense, we are all different with how we approach the job. Hertz is just horrible and the extra ride requirement now with Uber (50 rides/week), they are going to hurt many drivers.

Exactly but drivers are in financial distress so they have a hard time declining the worst of the rides and thats when the algo keeps seeing they will take those rides. Its a cycle the sucks!

They sent me two notices about cancellation when I only canceled one time during the day for a legitimate reason. The AI is out of control.

I’ve noticed trip radar bidding here in Austin. They’re always 10min+ away for pickup; more times than not for less than $10. It’s insane
For reservations, I’ve been seeing them disappear too without notice. Some even within that “be online by” time but before Uber guides me to the pickup. It really sucks because I’ll plan to be around the area sometimes. One trip that vanished after I stayed in an area for an extra 30min ended up being paid to me after I made an Uber Greenlight zoom call and explained what happened. They paid me for the whole trip. No idea what’s going on there but somethings happening with reservations
