I noticed with my car it sounds a lot louder after I hit the 5k km mark. It kinda sounds like ur res delete without even doing it. Pretty impressed tbh coz means I don’t need to modify anything.
You could wrap the roof in gloss black. I've done it to my sports +, hatch. And it looks pretty menacing. Oh also make sure you wrap the side triange bits, of the roof spoiler too:)
Hahaha I've seen a lot of black roof wraps yes... but I actually like the pearl white too much (especially since mine is ceramic coated) so maybe a couple of years down the track. Or maybe I'll just wrap the whole car in chrome gold HAHA

Hey bro, this is a confusing subject but I’ve done my research on this as well. From what I’ve found out, it does not void the warranty. If it messes with another part of the car, that could void the warranty but if it doesn’t mess with anything, I believe it’ll only void the warranty for the exhaust if it does end up voiding anything

Nope not really, I had more drone from the fake engine noise generator (which I've now removed and the car is much quieter when cruising). You'll hear the most noise when accelerating in lower gears :)

Hey thanks Ben! Hope you're enjoying yours too. I think out of all the exhaust mods you can do it's the least worrisome as it doesn't affect performance and the sound isn't obnoxiously loud. There's no such thing as a legal exhaust mod, but to put it into perspective I've driven in front of many police cars (it's been on for 3 months now) and never had a problem haha.
I am looking to get the cat-back quad exhaust system from Tony Exhaust for my GT. It's 'bolt on' (res delete optional) and reversible. It's not just about the sound and looks man, why not also get the bump in HP to-boot at relative low cost with no engine mod or tuning. Your car looks good .
Haha glad you like it, many gt owners talked about getting tony's and other catback setups but I just don't like having too much loudness in my daily drive. HP bump is negligible for me, the stock performance is fine, but if that's what you're looking for then go for it :)
Going to do this i think first, did you not go for 57mm in - 89mm out due to fitment of the tips with the rear diffusor? Id prefer larger tips looks wise but don't want them rubbing, looks like 76mm out on yours just fits nicely but cant tell 100%
...those tips look awesome....unfortunately I made 3 attempts to purchase a pair from Aliexpress and none of them went thru....I am trying to find them thru another seller but haven't had any luck finding them...by the way...are you happy with the resonator delete now that you've been driving it for awhile ???
Ah that sucks man! Have to be careful which sellers you pick. The one I got sent really fast and I received them within a week. Yeah I absolutely love the res delete, it's the perfect amount of sound for me (not too loud and actually sounds deeper). Never been pulled over or noticed by police for it, so I'm happy to keep it :)

I picked up a 2020 Kia Forte gt last year and I’m leasing it. I really want a little louder exhaust but not sure what route cause I’m leasing it and I’m thinking I’m going to buy it. Evila Motorsports makes a mid pipe and it deletes the resonator and second cat. What’s your thoughts on going that route. Thanks
Hi Esther, warranty is only void if it can be proven to be the cause of the fault. E.g. if you had a res delete and your speakers blow up they would still honour the warranty on the speakers. This has been proven by a few owners already in their warranty claims, so it should be fine 🤗

@@essy6888 That's pretty difficult to happen as the resonator itself is purely for sound and doesn't affect airflow even in it's stock state. My guess is only if you went to a dodgy exhaust shop and they didn't weld it properly, you'd lose back pressure or something, but definitely not engine heating. If you go to a good shop and it's done properly there should be no problems
Thinking about doing this to my GT, love the way the stock exhaust sounds, the rear muffler has great tone which seems more improved without the resonator. You dont get any rasp from removing the resonator or any booming or drone?

Only if the problem caused was proven to be related to the resonator delete. Given that res delete doesn't affect performance in any way, it's extremely unlikely to cause any problems to the rest of the car
@@iDreamDance I confirmed this pre getting a cat back done on my Cerato GT as well as at my 20k service (when it was already installed on the car, had it from 10k). They even did the exhaust check as part of the 20k service and said no issues with warranty as it is from Cat Back - not "performance" related. Purchase Macarthur Kia - Narellan. Latest service was done at Peter Warren Kia - Liverpool.
Just added these to me and my buddies forte gt...with the resonator delete it puts out a little stronger growl especially in sports mode...I don't like the muffler delete....but as in the video these quad tips look great...highly recommend.

You void warranty on the exhaust if there's any fault directly related to it (e.g. loss of back pressure), but every thing else on the car is still covered.
Would any of this go against the 7 year warranty? I have the sport hatch model and I just wanna spruce it up a bit but a bit worried about the whole warranty side of it all.
Warranty only affects parts that are proven to cause a fault - e.g. if you res delete you will still have warranty coverage for everything but the exhaust.

It's not that loud for cold start to be honest, some stock V6 and V8 exhausts from BMW etc are louder haha

put a k&n pod filter on my cerato GT, best mod iv'e done so far, exhaust sounds better and i get loud turbo noise now, highly recommend

You get maybe 10% more drone, but it's less noisu than the fake engine sound in sport mode (which I've removed). It's definitely a must do haha

They are literally the same car, just different name depending on location.
