  • The Hare's Ear Nymph is a super effective pattern as it can mimic multiple different flies that include Mayfly nymphs and Caddis larvae. It can be tied across a wide size range, add a tungesten bead to help it get down in the water quickly, or leave it off for a nearly weightless dry fly.
    MATERIALS LIST:

    Bead: 3.2 Round - Gold
    Dubbing : Hareline Hare's Ear

    Natural Pheasant Tail

I’ve found that if you put a drop of super glue on the shank before you push the lead wire in behind the bead it will hold everything so you can wrap the little remaining tag of lead pretty easily. Nice tie
