Well, I have to say, they are jumping very high, even it looks funny when they're holding a stick with a horse head on it. At least they're up and getting some exercise.
Me and my sisters horses had to be put down. Mine had termites and hers had dutch elm disease. They were taken to the glue factory and transformed Into Particle board.

I used to do that 20 years ago, it seems I was way ahead of my time. People back then just laughed at me. But I loved my hobby horse just like a real horse and enjoyed every ride ❤ btw my hobby horse was the prettiest of all of them.

Consider that equestrian sports are absolutely exclusive based on the cost. Many, many families have gone horse "Broke" because they get a kiddo or two addicted to working with big, expensive, jittery animals. This is harmless and feels inexpensive. It's not for me but I'm not going to trip on it.
It actually requires some skill (technique, explosive power, coordination) and for god sake it's a child's sport. It doesn't harm anyone but may possibly spark interest to move in a child that may otherwise not like to be active. If I had a kid and it would make them happy to hobby horse jump then do it, better than sitting in front of TV.
Anyone who mocks this sort has to try and do a lap and try to make ANY of those jumps. Yeah, it is silly, but they are clearly having a blast. I love some of the outfits.

know what none of the racers will end up being shot on the track if they break an ankle and they're not relying on someone else to do all the hard work so I respect it 1000000x more than people who race/do dressage with real horses.
To those of you cracking jokes or hating: imagine being a child who competes in this sport and is very proud. They watch these videos as well and feel hurt by your comments. You potentially crush their confidence in something they love. You’ve just bullied a bunch of children. Hope you feel satisfied.

I say these gals are confident, talented, and have high self-esteem. It takes a lot to perform in front of any crowd. I think you give them no credit at all. That's demoralizing. A joke is a joke. But you're actually insinuating that they are weak and someone else's opinion will make them less than they are.
What the y don’t tell you is the competitions are held in various psychiatric wards, with other patients acting as judges. They probably broke into various security rooms to nab the recording equipment and found those that had technical abilities among their number.
As ridiculous and weird as this looks some of those jumps were pretty impressive. It looks like they're having a blast, socializing and getting exercise at the same time, it could be alot worse.

They are underaged often so I shouldn't say too much but they are fit, very fit. I am honestly impressed by this. If you think about it a lot of guys do something similarly kinda dumb which is Karate Kata's. You just pretend to fight ninjas in the air but its an Olympic sport. I truly believe this could eventually become an Olympic sport as well based on the artistry and athleticism going on.
Watching from Canad❤ 🇨🇦 I also enjoy hobby horses. I was enthused, intuitive to create several hobby horses. Equestrian jumping and running. thrilled see you enjoying yourselves in this way with individual gorgeous hobby horses 🐎😍❤
