Yes! I remember watching this in 91. Two playoff teams with a combined record of 9-1. Not a great game for the skins or either offense but I still love defensive battles

The '91 Bears played the Bills and Redskins in back-to-back weeks and didn't come close to winning either game. But after this one, Ditka correctly forecast that the Redskins would be that season's Super Bowl champions barring any major injuries, saying they had the complete package and no other team compared, including Buffalo. He said the Bears could have beaten the Bills had they played better, but couldn't have beaten the Redskins in any circumstance.

Skins owned The Bears. 3 straight from 89-91 and eliminated them from The Postseason in 86 & 87
The Bears picked off Mark Rypien 5 times in 1990 and still lost.

Ditka losing 2 straight playoff home games bs Washington showed how much better of a coach Gibbs was then Ditka. Inexcusable to lose in consecutive years. Starting Flutie in January’87 was a colossal mistake. The following year, my Bears managed to lose again to Washington, even after taking a 14-0 lead. That’s awful.
